Exactly what I've been thinking! I'm polish and in my house we make everything from scratch, soups, pastas, dumplings. I think Americans are so disconnected from where their food comes from and how it's made that they go bananas when they see someone make a normal meal from real ingridients. I saw one video from Nara where she cooked a soup using meat and veg and not a stock from a box and people in the comments were saying things like "and 3 hours later you kid can finally eat!". Yeah, because thats how long it takes to make a real soup. I do it, my mom does it and so did my grandma.
@@mionsz69 exactly!!! also, i was taught how important it is to actually take the time to prepare a meal. in our culture it's a way to show love and affection to family and friends. but i believe for them it's seen as a waist of time idk
I think Nara gets hate because of the "extra-ness" of her posts but thats why I love it lol😂 also, it is hard for Americans because we are truly the "land of convenience". If it can be done fast, easy or instant, that can suit busy lifestyles-- that is preferred over taking the time to do things homemade. Sadly .
