  • We take another crack at the rust on the 1967 Mercury Cougar called "Patches". In this video we repair the rain rail and the area around it. I show you how to make a metal patch that fits. I also show you how to remove a drip rail by drilling the spot welds.

    I don't know if its too late to ask this but what are you doing about the brakes? I've been working on a 67 cougar too but don't know if I could get the drum brakes resurfaced or maybe look for an old 68 with rotors, or maybe go the aftermarket brakes route.
