      Steves biggest strength is that you don't need to be a good player to win with him. Marss really took advantage of the skill gap.

    • @joshuawinestock9998
      @joshuawinestock9998 11 месяцев назад +13

      In game 4 it genuinely looked like he had the matchup solved: play aggro, stop Steve from getting his resources and defend the crafting bench, but once he gets his tools, camp him out and let him mine as much as he wants, using flip-jump to play keep-away and racking up damage with Zair. I mean, if he was a worse player he'd still get hit by iron moves, which is why Steve is Steve, but he's Marss.
      Too bad the Strat didn't work as well on Smashville, even tho he won anyway, but game 4 on Kalos was a fuckin anime checkmate

    Mars had to win 15 to 1 interactions to even come close to winning. Steve is so OP.

      This is true, and Steve is better than ZSS. But neutral is definitely better for Marss here. ZSS movement let's you set up interactions to be favorable for you most of the time - if you're good enough

    I haven't played smash since the Terry DLC but I am just amazed with how Steve can get away with pretty much anything. Build a wall, mine, attack in the direction of your opponent, repeat.
