I love these types of updates! I've discovered that some fragrances I wasn't that into in the winter became amazing in the summer and I weep to think of the bottles I practically gave away without testing them in a different season 😭 Plus, things move so quickly with new releases and new niche popping up in every corner that first impression videos and unboxings take over at times. Our collections get out of control and we declutter without checking back in on the "mehs" that got put in the back shelves. So, thank you!!
Thank you so much for sharing all your feedback love! I’m so happy you love the bottle so much and still love the scent! I’m so sorry about the performamce you experienced! 😫 We actually tried our best with our Nose to make it as long lasting as possible. I will share your feedback and see if there is a way for us to make it last longer and project more! Thank you again! Love your channel 💕🙏🏻
Thanks so much Mona!:) 💗 It’s such a gorgeous scent!:) it’s not a deal breaker for me!! I’m ok with going a little heavier on the spraying for that extra couple hours of lasting power 😉 Like I mentioned in the video, I’m still loving it:) 🥰
I was just able to purchase the 10 ml of Utopia and I absolutely love it and will purchase the larger bottle. I do NOT want a perfume that fills a room, nor do I want a beast mode fragrance that lasts forever and ever. I don't think everyone wants that. I just want to smell great and I do not mind reapplying--in fact, I would prefer to reapply rather than choke everyone out with my fragrance. So I think Kayali has done a great job with Utopia. I know own 3 full sizes of the Kayali fragrances, and I am waiting to try Pink Diamond and Deja Vu, and will purchase the 10 ml sizes as soon as I am able to do so.
I’m the one that sent you the Gris Charnel! So happy you’ve kept it around and see the hype now. It’s still one of my faves. I’m on my second bottle. I live in Florida and I wear it all year long. It does very well in the heat for sure. You should try a decent of Layton by PDM! Honestly it seems unisex to me. But it has a yummy cardamom note also! If not for you, for your partner! So good! 😍
im so glad that you still love a drop d’issey! your first review of it made me really interested in it- i prob would’ve never heard of it without that! definitely considering trying it out!
I’ve really been excited to see how you felt about the Utopia after having some wear time. I was curious about the white florals because I know it’s not your favorite. Ugh, I want to try it so bad but I don’t want to commit to $100 if I don’t like it. I really hope they release a 10ml or maybe I’ll find one selling it. It would be great if Huda put out another KayAli sample collection, that sample pack was so nice. They could do a duo pack with the Sweet Diamond and Utopia.
Gris charnel reminds me of something from my childhood and I still can’t figure it out but I love it! I feel like you have to wear it a few times to really appreciate it! Also I tried wearing it just 2 days ago in the summer weather and was quite surprised at how good it was bc I really associated it with fall/winter before!
Yess, love jo Malone mimosa and cardamom, it’s just so good!! One of my favs, the a drop d’issey has been on my list for months. The way you described it was amazing!! Can’t wait to check it out!!❤️
i love utopia as well! tropical fragrances, and perfumes that combine tuberose, gardenia, and coconut notes in together tend to go overly sweet and headache-y on me…but when i tried utopia, it smelled super beautiful 😍 it’s especially gorgeous when you layer it with kayali’s deja vu white flower 😊 thanks for sharing your review with us! 🧡
If you want to try a fresh citrus cardamom scent I can recommend Versace Versense. It reminds me a bit of light blue but the cardamom makes it so unique and it lasts quite long on me too.
Good too know, I've been wondering how it smelled, heard it is like Chanel eau fraiche which I find a little too mature,so I've been hesitating on Versace Versense. Thanks 😁
I’ve been loving cardamom as a note lately as well. Try Atelier des Ors Lune Feline since you love vanilla and cardamom. I would love to hear your thoughts on that fragrance soon. 😊
I love Gris Charnel. One of my favorite sandalwood scents. It is a close second to Atelier Cologne Santal Carmin. I’m also super excited to try the new BDK Velvet Tonka!
Great video! You could do a review of perfumes you loved at first sniff and continue to love (the ones that make you jump up and down after you spray😊). Eventually, I want to just have perfumes that I love in my collection. I find myself buying perfumes for other reasons and then they just sit there not being used.
I have had a decant of grid charnel for a while. I too disliked it at the first sniff and have put it away. This video has encouraged me to check it out again, maybe I would like it too!
I wore Myrrh and Tonka for a whole year- just that, well clothes too🤣. I love it so much. But I haven’t been wearing it since I started collecting. That Issey sounds gorgeous. I kind of like the bottle- you could get one of those tiny easels for it. I own and love Gris Charnel also!
Do you prefer Gold Couture than V&R's Bonbon? I'm thinking of getting it but I have Gold Couture and Fancy and they're so similar to Bonbon. Do you think it's worth it to invest in it? So happy to have discovered your channel it has made the pandemic a bit more bearable!! xx
Thanks for the video, the only one I know is mimosa and cardamom, I just bought it after discovering in the shop... Love at first sniff, lovely! I had brrn looking for months for a lilac perfume and found Lilac Path(which is wonderful and such a classy complex lilac smell) which I bought just before the release of Drop d'issey, which I'm sure I would love😁
Jo Malone Mimosa and Cardamon ismells like my childhood -a bliss and carefree times :) this was my initial impression so I love it. However JM scents don't last on me....
I really wanted to love Kayali Utopia 😭😭😭😭 but I hate it. Too much florals. It gave me such a bad headache. Please tell me what’s a delicious sweet gourmand vanilla perfume.
Loved the video! 🥰 I’m so anxious for the Kayali Utopia and ups is playing games with my package. 🤦🏻♀️ it’s taken more than a week and they have a different update each day but it doesn’t get delivered. (Pretty much stalking them at this point 😩😂)
Déjà vu white flower is more floral and oriental smelling where the vanilla coco is more of a nicely balanced coconut vanilla tuberose gardenia. It’s simply gorgeous:) personally I prefer the vanilla coco to the déjà vu:)
I feel the same way about tuberose and Gardenia. They can both be overwhelming but because Utopia isn’t too strong it’s just right in my opinion. You definitely have to overspray Utopia but I definitely think it’s worth it. The Issy Miakye sounds very interesting.
I'm a white floral girl to the core, especially creamy tropical smelling ones. The Kayali sounds pretty, but when you popped Saks For Her and Love Tuberose together up on the screen my eyes lit up like a disco ball. I'm living off of about 20 ml worth of Saks For Her samples and going through them quickly so I know I will have to buy a bottle soon. It's one of my absolute favorites. I almost blind bought Love Tuberose during the Canada Day sale because people on fragrantica say they're similar, but I chickened out. Between the two, which do you prefer and why? Do you find them as similar as those votes suggest? Thanks love. Great vid!
Cardamom, one of my favorites as well! Love Gris Charnel!! For whatever reason, I think of an elegant women stepping up to the receptionist desk at a luxury hotel...
Love gris charnel😍 Have you tried nuit de sable by BDK? It is an addictive scent with a cardamom note. It is might be too masculine for your preference but worth a try 😉
I tried Gris Charnel in winter and I totally think it can be worn in summer as I found it too light. On me it smelled like fig tea. Not what I was looking for 😅
I would love to try Gypsy Water! Let me know if you're selling your bottle, please. I've also been eyeing several from BDK, one of them is Gris Charnel.
I have the sample for Gris charnel and pas ce soir from BDK, and I don't like both of the at all... I think bdk is quite a hyped up brand... but after watching your video, I need to give both of the another shot, maybe I will like it...
Yes the gris charnel lasts a good 7-8 hours at least, one tiny spray. Haven’t given it a full proper wear from head to toe lol 😆. I have a sample of pas ce soir coming!:)
I’m with you on the gypsy water. I thought I liked it but the more I tried the sample the more I realized it’s not for me. I’m not sure there’s a byredo for me. I think there is a huge misconception about jo Malone. There are some gentle scents and there are some that project and are long lasting. Myrrh tonka is awesome but I can’t wear it either. It smells great on my husband!
I love cardamom in fragrance. I find it comforting. Loubirouge has cardamom in it, and I know you own that one. Yeah, taste certainly does change over time. I’m fighting the urge to de clutter most of my collection. I have Delina and no longer love it. I’m hoping my nose will once again love it because she cost a pretty penny.
I feel your pain with GW. I tried to force myself to like Alien...ended up giving it to my daughter after torturing myself for a month with it. I just don't like it- I feel like I'm missing something because so many people love it. Some things you can't force. 🤷♀️
Oh you are not alone. I don’t hate alien but it’s not for me and I don’t care to keep trying it. I know every reviewer has it on their top 10 list and I did expect to like it. I’ve realized that I’m not that into projection and making a statement when I walk in the room.
Y E S - I have also been falling for cardamom. If you have a David's tea around, grab a cup of 'Cardamom French Toast' tea... to die for. I see so many of my favourites here, I love hearing your thoughts! Amazing video, as always
Gris Charnel is one of my favourite fragrances in my collection right now, I love both the Jo Malones you mentioned. I also have been loving the Basil & Neroli for summer :)
Hey guys! let me know your thoughts on these fragrances and if you enjoy these perfume update videos! :)
You took the plunge on the gris charnel❤️. The cardamom is smooth and rich, isn't it? Not a love at first sniff, but a lasting delight for me. Enjoy!
A drop d'issey was such a pleasant surprise! I like it a lot and it lasts forever on me. Thank you for the video dear!🥰🥰🥰
Byredo pulp, Mohave ghost, amazing

Utopia Vanilla Coco is like a lemon/vanilla cake

I agree it would
Be amazing if they could do a sample collection with all of their perfumes in one!:)

Also I tried wearing it just 2 days ago in the summer weather and was quite surprised at how good it was bc I really associated it with fall/winter before!
I love Gris Charnel! It’s so beautiful. When I first received a sample I was on the fence. Now I’m in love!
Yess, love jo Malone mimosa and cardamom, it’s just so good!! One of my favs, the a drop d’issey has been on my list for months. The way you described it was amazing!! Can’t wait to check it out!!❤️
I just put A drop D’issey on my wish list 🥰looks phenomenal !
Gris Charnel is really worth the hype imo! A good year round perfume, too! The fig + cardamom combo hit the right spot!
I love updates! Especially when you’re on the fence! 🥰
To my nose, Gris Charnel is very similar to Versace Crystal Noir EDT the old formulation!
i love utopia as well! tropical fragrances, and perfumes that combine tuberose, gardenia, and coconut notes in together tend to go overly sweet and headache-y on me…but when i tried utopia, it smelled super beautiful 😍
it’s especially gorgeous when you layer it with kayali’s deja vu white flower 😊 thanks for sharing your review with us! 🧡
🍃👀🍃 Can't wait to hear the update on the Kayali - thank you in advance!
If you want to try a fresh citrus cardamom scent I can recommend Versace Versense. It reminds me a bit of light blue but the cardamom makes it so unique and it lasts quite long on me too.
She already had Versace versence and decluttered it as it reminded her of chanel eau frachie. But she did likei it tho
Good too know, I've been wondering how it smelled, heard it is like Chanel eau fraiche which I find a little too mature,so I've been hesitating on Versace Versense. Thanks 😁

Gris Charnel is beautiful & unique totally worth the hype! Best one from BDK in my opinion 💜
Great video! You could do a review of perfumes you loved at first sniff and continue to love (the ones that make you jump up and down after you spray😊). Eventually, I want to just have perfumes that I love in my collection. I find myself buying perfumes for other reasons and then they just sit there not being used.
Cardamom is my favourite too!!! Reminds me of my mum. It’s so calming to me.
I have had a decant of grid charnel for a while. I too disliked it at the first sniff and have put it away. This video has encouraged me to check it out again, maybe I would like it too!
I share your thoughts on Gypsy Water. I wanted to love it as it came so highly recommended. It also doesn’t last on my skin at all.

Hi Ilythia, I absolutely adore your pink faux flowers in this video, do you mind me asking where they’re from?
Jo Malone Mimosa and Cardamon ismells like my childhood -a bliss and carefree times :) this was my initial impression so I love it. However JM scents don't last on me....
Oh man. I hated Gris Charnel at first , now I loveee it!! Smells so nice in these hot summer months!🥰🥰🥰
Right?! It’s just one of those perfumes that either repels you or draws you in, and sometimes both lol:)
@@thesimplechiclife it’s definitely a masterpiece! Wore to a wedding over the weekend and it was amazing! Now a need a bottle. Created a memory❤️🥰
Hey friends 🤗 final thoughts gril Channel water and more perfume mini love ❤️
I really wanted to love Kayali Utopia 😭😭😭😭 but I hate it. Too much florals. It gave me such a bad headache. Please tell me what’s a delicious sweet gourmand vanilla perfume.
Mazolari Vaniglia, Love & Crime from Ex idolo:)
I've felt the same way about Gypsy Water, it didn't connect with me but I really crave at least a little sweetness in my perfumes.
Loved the video! 🥰 I’m so anxious for the Kayali Utopia and ups is playing games with my package. 🤦🏻♀️ it’s taken more than a week and they have a different update each day but it doesn’t get delivered. (Pretty much stalking them at this point 😩😂)
😆 I hear you!:) I think you’ll like it, it’s not too heavy, would be nice for your climate !:)
Soo tempted by the Kayali utopia 😍 how does it compare to kayali white flowers dejavu?
Kayali vanilla is my current favourite ❤️
Déjà vu white flower is more floral and oriental smelling where the vanilla coco is more of a nicely balanced coconut vanilla tuberose gardenia. It’s simply gorgeous:) personally I prefer the vanilla coco to the déjà vu:)
@@thesimplechiclife thankyou ❤️
I feel the same way about tuberose and Gardenia. They can both be overwhelming but because Utopia isn’t too strong it’s just right in my opinion. You definitely have to overspray Utopia but I definitely think it’s worth it. The Issy Miakye sounds very interesting.
I too disliked gris charnel first, put away my decant for a few months, got back to it and ADORE it now :D
Great vid!
I have to say I prefer Saks between it and Love Tuberose; it’s probably the prettiest most expensive smelling white floral I’ve ever laid my nose on:)
Where did u find utopia in Canada..I have been checking Sephora but it was never in stock
It was sent to her by the company
Yes it was sent to me complimentary from Huda Beauty 💕
Would be curious on your thoughts on the Celine Haute Parfumerie fragrances.
Cardamom, one of my favorites as well! Love Gris Charnel!! For whatever reason, I think of an elegant women stepping up to the receptionist desk at a luxury hotel...
Yes for sure !!!
How does the Issey miyake compare to lilac path by aerin?
That I can not say; I have to go back and re-sniff the Aerin counter!!:)
Hello. I love your perfume tray! Where did you get it?
I believe amazon!:)
Try Pure Poison by Dior. It’s a white floral that will not disappoint you!
I own pure poison not the biggest fan of white florals and I love it long lasting but so delicate and not nauseating at all you must try it Ilythia!
❤️Gris Charnel is so good! Agree 💯 it’s a masterpiece
🙌🏻 😃
Love gris charnel😍 Have you tried nuit de sable by BDK? It is an addictive scent with a cardamom note. It is might be too masculine for your preference but worth a try 😉
I haven’t no!
I was wondering if you tried Chloe Nomade Absolu yet?
I tried Gris Charnel in winter and I totally think it can be worn in summer as I found it too light. On me it smelled like fig tea. Not what I was looking for 😅
I would love to try Gypsy Water! Let me know if you're selling your bottle, please. I've also been eyeing several from BDK, one of them is Gris Charnel.
It has already found a home actually!:) but thank you for your interest!
Wait.. you love Cardamom.. and Vanilla?
Get eua duelle edt
Luv your channel
I love jo Malone line and myrrh & tonka is my favourite
There’s something about cardamom that is very beautiful and unique smelling!
I have the sample for Gris charnel and pas ce soir from BDK, and I don't like both of the at all...
I think bdk is quite a hyped up brand... but after watching your video, I need to give both of the another shot, maybe I will like it...
Kayali Utopia is a beautiful scent, but it smells exactly like Zara Femme. The minute I put it on, I thought I reached for the wrong bottle.
Did you think Gypsy Water smelled a bit like Light Blue ? ? ….. To me it did remind me of Light Blue intense ?
I didn’t get that actually. I can see where you’d see a similarity though but to me they are quite different scents :)
Hello friend, is Gris Charnel long lasting? Have you tried Pase Soir?
Yes the gris charnel lasts a good 7-8 hours at least, one tiny spray. Haven’t given it a full proper wear from head to toe lol 😆. I have a sample of pas ce soir coming!:)
@@thesimplechiclife I’ll need to wait until you do a full review on both so I can decide which to get. 😀
I’m glad I’m not the only person who feels that way!!:)
Katy Perry‘s Indi smells similar to Gris Charnel. I have both and spritz the former on me in the evening before going to bed.
Do you have a channel by chance? If you do a declutter I’d love to see it
I’ve just discovered Jo Malone!! Love it 💜🙏🏾🙋🏾♀️
Nectarine Blossom and Mimosa and Cardamom are baess!!🥰
The bulk of her scents are super super skin scents - lovely but not long lasting
I feel your pain with GW. I tried to force myself to like Alien...ended up giving it to my daughter after torturing myself for a month with it. I just don't like it- I feel like I'm missing something because so many people love it. Some things you can't force. 🤷♀️

Wow I thought I was the only person who doesn’t care for alien ,tried and tried 🥲no nothing special on my skin .
I love Myrrh and Tonya for a guy. It’s very beautiful and complexed. 🌸🌸
I also so badly wanted to love Gypsy Water. It just smells like straight up pine on me 😭🤷🏻♀️
I get the lemon, vanilla and coconut in this perfume, smells like a lemon cake
Gypsy water does not last on me at all only about 2 hours
I watch your videos beacause I like your voice 😃
I hate Cardamom. 😙
