Hey guys!! SO sorry for the re-upload, there was a glitch with my first one and my end music mysteriously disappeared!!! A bit annoying but regardless I hope you enjoy! Let me know what your favorite Jo Malone scent is if you have one?
Mimosa and Cardamon is the best scent I have ever smelled. I cannot even describe how fabulous it is. I ran out but getting more very soon. I wore Coco for years and La Vie est Belle. I saw a Jo Malone counter in Paris and granddaughter and I spent quite some time smelling them. It was stunning. I cannot remember what she got. It is truly my favorite scent ever.
I went through a Jo Malone phase a few years ago, falling in love with Wood Sage and Sea Salt. I have been surprised the house is barely mentioned in the fragrance community. I love the packaging but for the price, I want better performance🌻
they’re meant to be layered! also using their body lotions or body cremes really helps to accentuate the fragrance - since jo malone is meant for ones personal enjoyment
Jo Malone Velvet Rose & Oud is my favourite. I don’t really pick-up much oud in it… it’s a very smooth rose perfume with a sweet praline note. 🌹It’s also not too heavy considering the notes. There’s a lovely freshness in the fragrance.
Really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on these Jo Malones. I also discovered Peony and Blush Suede and fell in love with it. I also have Oak and Hazelnut, which i love for Spring and Autumn but does lean a tad masculine, but i love it for me. I have Wild Bluebell which is quite aquatic in its style. I think my most loved one has to be Scarlet Poppy. It totally stole my heart with its lightly gourmand quality. It's like smelling all the dry ingredients of a cake. Like Almond flour and baking goodness. 🤍
peony blush & suede has been my favorite fragrance of jo malone's (i consider it as one of my signature scents!) since i first smelled it back in 2019. depending on the climate, its longevity does vary but i have experienced a few times (in a humid country) that its scent lasted the whole day. happy to hear that you added it to your collection ^-^
I have around 10 Jo Malone fragrances. I get headaches pretty easily from perfume, but I do well with these. I gravitate towards fresh florals and citruses and Jo Malone do this style so nicely.
@@thesimplechiclife I also wanted to say that their body creams are so luxurious. If you fall in love with one of the scents, consider adding the body cream.
@@Jessinblackandwhite yes I totally agree - I have the shower gel and body cream in wood sage and sea salt - I really love it - it's so comforting. I make it a bit of a ritual and shower myself in the scent before going to bed or first thing in the morning. Thinking of getting the English Pear shower gel and body creme next.
Wood sage & sea salt reminds me of a gloomy summer day at the beach. The salty but fresh air, warm breeze...I didn't think much of at first but it has grown on me. Mimosa and cardemom is my absolutely favorite, even thought all Jo Malone scents I've smelled are really beautiful.
I love Jo Malone. Tuberose Angelica, Jasmine Sambac and Marigold, velvet rose and oud, orange bitters, black berry and bay, English pear and freesia, red hibiscus, scarlet poppy, myrrh and tonka, golden vanilla and vetiver. The new Sea daffodil. Several you mentioned I really like for men.
I love so many Jo Malones! Orange Blossom body crème, wild bluebell body wash, the new limited edition Salty Amber cologne, their holiday special White Moss & Snowdrop, English Pear & Freesia, Poppy & Barley, Wood Sage & SS, Red Roses… I love Lime Basil & Mandarin as a home fragrance.
I commented on your haul vid with the mini jo Malones saying that my favorite is the Mimosa & Cardamom. It lasts absolutely forever on me, but I have a little bit of an older bottle and the colored isn’t totally clear, it’s got like a light yellow tinge to it, maybe from age. I’ve been afraid that when I have to get a new bottle that it won’t last as long. I’d be interested to know about how long the new bottle seems to last on you. I was inspired me to try my Peony & Blush Suede sample on skin since I hadn’t been impressed with it on paper and it was actually really lovely on skin, so thanks. I also remember liking Blackberry & Bay, but will have to try my sample again. I’ve got several more samples I need to try on skin, like Jasmine Sambac & Marigold. I also remember liking the Vetiver & Golden Vanilla when I smelled a bunch of them at a store.
I only own one Jo Malone , which is Blue Agave and Cacao. Mine is from a long time ago and it’s still good. I save it because I thought it’s discontinued. Glad to see it’s still available.
Blue Agava & Cacao is so so gorgeous! I used it for decades then they discontinued it. They've since brought it back in their Archive Collection but I've yet to repurchase. I hope it's the same! If you have dupes for it, please let me know.
Oh how I love Jo Malone! I truly love that it’s a lighter wear time as I can reapply during the day without feeling like overwhelming or nauseous from the scent lol! I own a few: nectarine blossom & honey, orange blossom, blackberry & bay, poppy & barley, and lastly Wild Bluebell. Nectarine Blossom & Honey is my wedding day acent, but BlackBerry & Bay is my everyday all time fave!
This is so timely as I literally received Wood Sage & Sea Salt and English Pear & Freesia today! I’m only recently getting into Jo Malone too. I stayed away because they were colognes and I like my scents to stay on me for pretty much forever but I got a sample of English Pear and it had a surprisingly nice lasting power so I’ve been dipping my toe some more into the brand. But pricey and I don’t like spending for scents that don’t last so I’ve been very careful to try stuff on me first before purchasing. I love sea salt fragrances so I like wood sage & sea salt. And the pear is crisp then dries to a more floral scent in English pear & freesia. There was a scent that I smelled (but didn’t try on me) that really surprised me in a good way. I can’t remember for sure what it was but I think it was the mimosa & cardamom.
I know that wood sage & sea salt’s very popular but not really for me. What I love from jo malone are peony blush & suede, nectarine blossom & honey, mimosa & cardamom & velvet rose & oud.
Scarlet Poppy is my favorite Jo Malone fragrance. I put on Mimosa & Cardamom today with the body cream to sample. I loved it. I tried Nectarine & Honey on my skin too
The only JM that I have ever really connected with is Velvet Rose and Oud. It is a very smooth, easy to like oud. It is a cologne intense, in the black bottle, so it lasts longer and projects more than the standard versions.
My fav Jo Malone scent is Nectarine Blossom & Honey. The only thing I'm not a fan of with Jo Malone is the price point for how light it wears. It doesn't last long. When ever I wear this scent, I get compliments on it. All. The. Time. (That's before it wears off 😆)
If you look into the intense line, try the Jasmine Sambac & Marigold. It’s really pretty. Generally I won’t spend on JM fragrances as they simply don’t last. The intense line does. The only JM I have liked and find lasts decently on me is the Mimosa & Cardamom. Got it last month and have been very impressed with it as a daily and work perfume. Hope you like it!
It was my wedding perfume! I find it lasts all day on me, but other ones like blackberry and bay disappears within the hour. Strange how body Chemistry impacts everyone differently with perfume!
Favourites are Wood Sage & Sea Salt and Blackberry & Bay. I also blind bought Blue Agava & Cacao after reading all the positive reviews. And I was disappointed. Far from what i expected based on the reviews. To me, it smells like Root beer.. haha! And you are right it dissipates quickly.
Love love Jo Malone. My all time favorite is Myrrh and Tonka I sometimes layer it Red Roses. I also love Wood sage and salt as my work perfume. I use quite a few of Jo Malone body creams to layer with other fragrances and the scent last all day
I have only ever smelled and tried one Jo Malone scent. The Earl Grey and Cucumber. It wasn't at all what I expected. I didn't know about websites to learn about fragrance notes and people's opinions on certain fragrance when I purchased it. Primarily I get baby powder and some waxiness from the scent. It is fresh and clean I will wear it in the hot weather. Baby powder is not normally a smell I would for though. On another note, I got Armani Prive Blue Turquoise for Mother's day and I love it! It takes you on a journey as it dries down to that slightly salty but creamy (to my nose) vanilla. It will be great for the Summer. It isn't as powerful as some reviews I have read have suggested it was. For me it could be an all day scent. I appreciate that you reviewed it.
Sometimes it's so hard to admit you're being influenced! I've bought perfumes for the hype and tried to love them. But I noticed that it was more of a chore to wear them or I wasn't wanting to reach for them. In some cases I've gotten a travel size instead for very specific scents that I don't think I'll wear often but I still appreciate, such as by the fireplace.
Wow you put that perfectly into words! I’m kinda happy I went down the sampling road because it helped curb the FOMO esp when a lot of things didn’t work out for me. It helped calm down the urge to just buy. I don’t want too many travels, but I’ve decided to get some for specific scents I like but know I wouldn’t reach for, or feel forced to wear, if I got a bottle lol
I am already so excited for this video. JM might be my favourite house and I love hearing all your opinions! I agree, most aren't beast mode fragrances, but I enjoy that they smell nature and classic. I will trade performance for a perfect scent every time! Definitely get your hands on Vetiver and Golden Vanilla, in my opinion, it is the feminine wearable version of TF Tobacco Vanille. And if you can ever find a sample of Rose Water & Vanilla, I would jump on it :)
Purchased peony & blush suede yesterday- luckily it lasted on me for 10 hours while I was at work today😊 I really feel like it got stronger as the day went on. Thinking of trying mimosa and cardamom next :)
I tried to like Wood Sage & Sea Salt but I got so much violet! I was not into it and I dont understand the hype at all! You're making me very curious about Jo Malone😬
I tried the wood sage & sea salt and peony & blush suede scents a while ago and remember being disappointed in the wood sage and liking the peony, but I wasn’t wowed. I’m definitely going to check them out again and see how I feel.
I’ve worn the Lime Basil & Mandarin in the past and enjoyed it. You are wowing with the Mimosa & Cardamom & the Oud & Bergamot! I’m going to check them both out. I’ve just recently found your site and grateful for it & for such a quality review!
Orange bitters 🍊, English Pear and sweet pea 🍐 🌸, velvet rose and Oud 🌹, Davanna, and cucumber 🥒 and Earl grey tea 🫖 (body wash) those are the best Jo Malone imo ☺️
Used to love Jo Malone Peony and Suede. But after finding NR Musc Noir I haven’t touched it. The NR has the most gentle and cozy suede note with a touch of creaminess and floral note form the heliotrope. It’s lasts longer and projects more to my nose. So sexy and sophisticated!
so they say that Jenny Glow is a 100% copy of Jo Malone I hope you can compare them too I would love to hear your thoughts about it.. I also am looking for a perfume that smells like an expensive wine plssss help thank you
Many of Jo Malone colognes are very clean, but I wish they lasted more. Some of them do better than others. I like Blackberry and Bay, but it's not good for lasting. Another one of my favorites is Nectarine and Honey Blossom, which is better at lasting.
Ever since I had the big C I find I can’t tolerate super beast mode fragrances. Jo Malone is a great house though the longevity isn’t the best. For me personally I feel like Poppy and Barley is one of my signature scents. 💖
I love Jo Malone Mimosa & Cardamom-it’s been a staple for years. I mix it with Nectarine & Honey Blossom. It’s fabulous. I also got Frangipani Flower recently. I haven’t played around with it much but do enjoy it from the few times I’ve worn it. I am not a Wood Sage & Sea Salt fan either.
OMG! Same, i mixed my Mimosa and Cardamom with Nectarine and Honey Blossom (these two are my very first Jo Malone perfumes) i own several Jo Malone's now but Mimosa and Cardamom is my all time fave 😊
These are really nice! I love these and my all-time fave Orange Bitters. Also recently picked up the new Bitter Mandarin and I love it! So fresh for summer. 💜
I like Jo Malone fragrances! My absolute favorite is lime basil & mandarin and I also love wood sage & sea salt. I’m curious about peony & blush suede too
Hi Ilythia! I don’t have any Jo Malone in my collection. Did try a few of the scents years back. Keen to try it next time as I don’t have much to use for summer. I guess Jo Malone is known for layering. That’s what I remembered from the salesperson. Anyways, i would love for you to try and review Goldfield and Banks AUSTRALIA. There are a few perfumes your partner may like as per your description. Cheers mate!
i enjoy their perfume, but for some reason it doesn't smell as great on my skin compared to tester papers :(( i wish they worked on my skin, lovely haul though!
Jo Malone mimosa and cardamom is also one of my favs, but I just got Phlur not your baby and oh my, it is almost just like mimosa and cardamom but it has vanilla milk in the base and violet in the mid, so it’s a little more sweet but just a little and a little lighter but it’s beautiful maybe try that if the jo Malone is a little to strong.💕
Lime Basil and Mandarin is the only bottle I own. I have tiny bottles of Wood Sage and Sea Salt which I want the biggest bottle of and English Pear and Freesia I want a large bottle of. It’s just they are so darn expensive. Great review.
I could be mixing up my fragrance RUclipsrs but didn’t you have a bottle of Mimosa & Cardamom and you decluttered it. My favourite Jo Malone is Wild Fig & Cassis. It is not for everyone as it quite a green fragrance but I love it is not one of her more popular perfumes. I also love Grapefruit for the warmer months. Both of these are perfect for me for work. Like you my tastes are changing, I no longer want my perfume to be overpowering. 😊
I got into fragrance last year over the pandemic when I couldn't visit any stores. I just got my first Jo Malone this month -- Nectarine Blossom and Honey. It's the freshest scent I own, maybe aside from Chloe L'eau (pink ribbon). I'm a bit sensitive to smells (e.g. I can smell one spritz of Chloe Wild Rose for well over a day) and my boyfriend has an even more sensitive and discerning nose than I do. Spraying EDTs on my clothes and in my hair gets me at least 4-5 hours of mileage on most days. I also tend to not like gourmands or vanilla, so that makes it a bit hard to find perfume. So far Chloe and Jo Malone have been my safest and most successful buys.
I have the Dossier Peony and Blush suede it was a blind buy and I love it. It didn’t smell like what I expected but I did fall in love… I have now compared to the JM and it’s exactly the same. I also love the safe and sea salt… that will be my next actual Jo Malone purchase now that it is sold at my local Sephora ♥️
Mimosa and Cardamom has been my signature scent for several years now, and I still haven't found another fragrance that I like as much as I love that one. Both that and Peony and Blush Suede last the longest on me-- and I found it quite strange that both last longer than Dark Amber and Ginger Lily on me. Hearing others say that Mimosa and Cardamom is pretty strong makes me less confused now. I love smelling Lime Basil and Mandarin on my mom, so I'll never make it my own scent so that I can always remember my mom when I smell it (and Jasmine Sambac and Marigold).
If you’re loving those soft feminine type scents then maybe sample MFK Aqua celestia fort. It’s not aquatic at all.. just a soft floral citrusy goodness. I just sampled it and it’s elevated Jo Malone vibes. On Jo Malone, peony and blush suede is the only scent my husband consistently compliments me on. If I want something that’s what I wear 😄
I own the myrrh & tonka and vetiver & vanilla. I love the fragrances so much, but, I have always gravitated to masculine scents....very woodsy, earthy. I have recently expanded my scent profile, which is very exciting ❣️ I now own and LOVE Mon Guerlain and as of yesterday Miss Dior edp. I fell in love with them by watching your videos. Thank you for all of the direction and suggestions 🤗🥰 I love your videos so much. Your personality is so warm and comforting 💖💝
@@thesimplechiclife On another note I've been waiting for some reviews of the 2022 special edition of Love don't be shy Rose and Oud. Have you heard any buzz about it? ♥️
It differs for everyone based on your skin Chemistry. Scents like orange blossom, and their black bottle cologne intenses last absolutely all day on me. Ones like blackberry and bay last about an hour. You need to go try some on your skin and see what works for you 😊
I find jo malone a bit hitty missy . The lasting power is abysmal for the price. I can recommend the intense versions in the black bottles though. The myrhh and tonka is stunning and lasts long time. Also the amber and violet is gorgeous 👍👍🥰🥰
I think I’ve always been a little wary of the cologne concentration and their high prices. I remember smelling earl grey and cucumber and really liked that one. Other than that, not much has impressed me from their line. But I do enjoy that refreshing aspect they have in their scents. Maybe one day...
Hey guys!! SO sorry for the re-upload, there was a glitch with my first one and my end music mysteriously disappeared!!! A bit annoying but regardless I hope you enjoy! Let me know what your favorite Jo Malone scent is if you have one?
Myrr and tonka, English pear and freesias
Mimosa and Cardamon is the best scent I have ever smelled. I cannot even describe how fabulous it is. I ran out but getting more very soon. I wore Coco for years and La Vie est Belle. I saw a Jo Malone counter in Paris and granddaughter and I spent quite some time smelling them. It was stunning. I cannot remember what she got. It is truly my favorite scent ever.
Yes its my favorite

I absolutely love Blue Agava & Cocoa. They discontinued it for a bit, but brought it back.. thank goodness. I also love Velvet Rose and Oud.
YES! YES! YES! Vetiver & Golden Vanilla, Myrrh & Tonka and the unfortunetly discontinued Ginger Biscuit are my favorites!
Jo Malone Velvet Rose & Oud is my favourite. I don’t really pick-up much oud in it… it’s a very smooth rose perfume with a sweet praline note. 🌹It’s also not too heavy considering the notes. There’s a lovely freshness in the fragrance.

Ever since I had the big C I find I can’t tolerate super beast mode fragrances. Jo Malone is a great house though the longevity isn’t the best. For me personally I feel like Poppy and Barley is one of my signature scents. 💖
Exactly! I appreciate the scents but I feel like for what I’m paying I definitely want more sillage and longevity.
I’m curious about peony & blush suede too
Peony Blush And Suede, Pomegranate Noir. Are Heavenly.I buy The Pomegranate In the Bath Oil. It lasts so much longer to Dab a bit of it on.
Cheers mate!
i love jo malone! They are pretty affordable, easy to wear, and fun to try. You should blind buy myrrh and tonka! :)
My top favorites are wild bluebell and wood sage & sea salt. I actually didn't like the super popular peony & blush suede. I wanted to love it!
Love Wild Bluebell!
i enjoy their perfume, but for some reason it doesn't smell as great on my skin compared to tester papers :(( i wish they worked on my skin, lovely haul though!
Jo Malone Stan here. Love Myrrh and Tonka; Mimosa Cardamom; Silver Birch & Lavender. I look forward to owning as many as possible.
Oh wow I need to try that for sure!!!! Sounds amazing !
My new favorite Assam & Grapefruit from the Huntsman ❤️
Basil and neroli
Jasmin sambac
Peony blush suede
Honey havana
All last on me
I love his fragrances
Jo Malone is a woman :)
I also like Peony and Blush Suede. I started to like it after some period of wearing- not after the first time
I have the Dossier Peony and Blush suede it was a blind buy and I love it. It didn’t smell like what I expected but I did fall in love… I have now compared to the JM and it’s exactly the same.
I also love the safe and sea salt… that will be my next actual Jo Malone purchase now that it is sold at my local Sephora ♥️
Thank you for this video!!! I really want to try Oud And Bergamot ..
already a fan of wood sage and sea salt 😍
I have a sample of Mimosa and Cardamom from Nordstrom and it's really lovely. I think this is my favorite! I'm going to buy a full bottle! :)
I have a hard time with citrus fragrances too. There's some I like. Haven't tried any jo malone tho. I'd like to try blackberry and bay
My favorites are Tropical Cherimoya, blue Agava and Cacao, nectarine Blossom and honey.
Blue Agava and Cacao lasts around 6 hours on my skin but it is close to the body.
I have the Sukarno cherry blossom from Sephora and fell in love with the scent. I just wished the fragrance lasted longer.
Sukura
Mimosa and Cardamom has been my signature scent for several years now, and I still haven't found another fragrance that I like as much as I love that one.
Both that and Peony and Blush Suede last the longest on me-- and I found it quite strange that both last longer than Dark Amber and Ginger Lily on me. Hearing others say that Mimosa and Cardamom is pretty strong makes me less confused now.
I love smelling Lime Basil and Mandarin on my mom, so I'll never make it my own scent so that I can always remember my mom when I smell it (and Jasmine Sambac and Marigold).
If anyone has any recommendations of fragrances that are like Mimosa and Cardamom, I'd appreciate it.
I've heard people say that their scents are not very long lasting? I am interested in the brand.
A lot of them are not because they are eau de cologne concentrations. But some actually do have some good lasting power.
I agree about the lasting power of the intense versions have longer lasting power.
I have never tried Jo Malone perfumes. I will try some décantes 😊
Mimosa and cardamom is the only one that is worth my money. Peony and blush suede is so nice but it does not last at all😢
My husband is obsessed with oud and bergamot. ✨
I think I’ve always been a little wary of the cologne concentration and their high prices. I remember smelling earl grey and cucumber and really liked that one. Other than that, not much has impressed me from their line. But I do enjoy that refreshing aspect they have in their scents. Maybe one day...
Wood sage and sea salt. Great smell
Wood sage and Sea Salt is a more popular (and expensive) scent!
Is that really true about the Wynn? Wow lol that's kinda cool.
Recently i started smell and discovered Jo Malone... And i have already minimum 3 fragrances on my wish list 😂😂
I have and love Peony & Blush Suede! I don’t like Wood sage! 🥺
My favorite is blackberry and bay
