1:05 I know it’s a Jawa 42. Sorry for the confusion. What I meant is that it belongs to the roadster format or roadster category of motorcycles. I should have been a bit more precise I guess.
At last, a good ride review in youtube of yezdi scrambler before the top auto channels...pls do a test ride review of roadstar also and pls make a comparison with scrambler..your channel definitely deserve more subs...
Refined…Yes it is quite refined. And because the engine is based on the Jawa bikes which in turn was derived from Mojo, it is definitely reliable. Jawa bikes till date haven’t shown any reliability issues whatsoever. The frame and the swing arm on this bike are pretty strongly built and quite sure they will behave well. Hope this helps brother.
Thanks a lot buddy. Please do share this ahead. We will surely grow this little family on RUclips with all the support from all you good samaritans. 🙏🏼
Bro need some clarification based on ur test ride experience, you mentioned that suspension is stiffer and also mentioned we can adjust the suspension, can we tune according to the terrain? I am looking for something better than d390 interms of suspension. Also do you think it would stall like duke in offroads? 🤔
The bike wouldn’t stall unless it’s a ridiculously higher gear. It would knock which would tell the rider to downshift but it doesn’t stall Suspension is stiff for sure, but it has 7 levels of adjustability and can be tuned accordingly not to be bone jarring like Duke 390.
I took the test drive day before yesterday in Synergy showroom, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru. I rode all the three variants that is the Roadster, Scrambler and the Adventure. All the three have the same issue such as knocking in the second gear and generates a lot of heat. I actually expected more from all the three variants as it's trying to go in par with RE. The power in all the three bikes are very good but i think they've to solve these issues.
Yeah I haven’t ridden the Roadster and the Adv yet, but I am surprised to hear this from you. The engines on all three run a nearly same state of tune and the knocking in each gear is something which should be there across the board.
Whoa… that’s not as difficult. If you want a bike which is easy to live with and primary usage will be city, go with Xpulse 4V. If you an experienced rider and like to ride aggressive and have fun and intend to use the bike mostly on highways, get the Scrambler. Xpulse is significantly cheaper (it’s 1 Lakh cheaper) and you will outgrow the performance on that bike very soon. But it’s incredible value for money. Considering the power on the Scrambler, you will not get bored of it so easily. I own an Xpulse bs6 (2V) and have decent experience off-roading. It’s lightweight helps a lot. Best part is that bike is very very inexpensive to maintain and own. The parts are very cheap. The suspension on xpulse is brilliant for city and bad roads. Scrambler’s suspension is definitely punishing but it works great for aggressive riding.
@@FTRClub Thank you so much , really helpful advice. Will test ride both and then decide. Also will decide what I want to do with these bikes. Hi..Grt video mate.. You were spot on when u mentioned abt the rear tyre cover and on it the number plate...That's looks ridiculous.. So m Q to you is can the cover be removed and can the number plate be fitted under the rear tail light ? I haven't chkd the bike yet so this thought came to me actually...👍🙂
Well we might to either drill a hole on the rear fender or see the feasibility of fixing a tail tide with some clamps. But I am sure it must be very doable. And I am really glad you liked the video mate. 🙏🏼
Cannot say anything until scrambler 411 comes, but the Yezdi Scrambler has a definite good build quality, looks great 👍 Engine RPM levels are high that’s why you are so confident
Well the Scram 411 will have the same engine as the Himalayan at the same state of tune. Being a Long Stroke engine, there's no room to extract more power and hence it cannot revv as happily as the Yezdi scrambler can. However, on the other hand, the torque delivery from that engine is just brilliant, with the surge of torque coming in from as low as 3000 rpm, it's a very very tractable bike to ride across all conditions.
@@FTRClub 411 cc long stroke but rpm can go up to 6500-7000. Himalayan has a rising torque, whereas the scrambler needs a flat torque, that RE Engineers have to do it in ECU points.
I agree that and ECU update can extract a bit more, but the compression ratio that's required to extract and accordingly deliver the power doesn't match the current configurations of the 9.5:1 on the LS410 engine. Furthermore the Himalayan (even in it's Scram411 form) needs to undergo a significant weight loss to translate the gain in power in real life. Moving to a 19" front and getting rid of the jerry can holders is a really good step in that direction. However, it still needs to loose more weight. But overall as I said, that engine in it's current avatar is like a tractor which pulls out of every condition effortlessly.
@@FTRClub The LS410 is mechanically not designed to be a scrambler type, even if they map ECU to that level, the long stroke tractor retains the same characteristics 😃
For pillion I would say the seat is decently cushioned and it has decent enough space. The only problem that pillion might face is the stiff suspension. It might make them uncomfortable. I’d much rather recommend the Adventure for better pillion comfort.
Hie Dear sir Hope things are going very good Sir I want an suggestion regarding Dominar400 or Yezdi scrambler which bike should I go for as i have recently booked Yezdi scrambler yelling yellow still bit confused.
Go with the Scrambler. Dominar is heavy and steering that bike requires too much effort due to the front heavy design and asymmetrical weight distribution. Specially in everyday riding conditions the Dominar feels very cumbersome to ride. Yezdi scrambler on the other hand feels a lot lighter due to the incredible weight distribution. It gets a huge 200mm ground clearance too which is more than enough for all riding conditions. Plus the engine is a lot more smoother than the Dominar. Hope this helps, brother.
This is more engaging and is really fun to ride compared to the Honda Hiness/CB350 RS. If you like to ride aggressively then go for the Yezdi. But if it’s mainly city duties and if you carry a pillion, then go with Hiness or CB350 RS. The suspension on the Yezdi isn’t very suitable for pillion as it’s hard.
