The stock exhaust sounds the best! The sound from the stock exhaust tells of a powerful 650 motor, the heavy bass note and shrill lower revs sounds good. Not every bullet has to be a sound polluter. The stock exhaust not only sounds good, but also look bigger and well matched with the bike design. Gursewak exhaust is nothing but stock exhaust engineered without the DB killer.
I thought the Gursewak sounded not unlike what RBB WORLD accomplished by opening up both ends of his stock exhaust. Still has the weight but sounded great and for zero $. 👍
Getting the interceptor 650 in Chrome in May at the Seattle, Wa USA dealership with the S&S exhaust as an accessory. Hoping it will sound as good as some video's I have seen. I have waited 2 yrs for this bike!

I think the AEW are the best they have a nice old school sound, then comes the stock one, then the red rooster as they sound too sporty which doesn't go well with the style of the bike and then at last the Gursewak, i am happy it is an Indian brand but it is not just about how loud you can make it, it is about how nice of an sound you can make it. With a bit of R&D i am sure they can improve...

Now i agree the bass would sound loud when you are closer to it. But as bass is low-frequency sound, it would sound literally nothing when you go away from it. So if the bike passes by at full chant at a certain distance then it would not sound unpleasant. The Shrill sound of the Exhaust note would hurt your ear more. It makes a very undesirable sound on a Flyby. ThanQ very much for this highly informative video. Hats off to you Abhinav. If i ever come down to Delhi, i would definitely buy a beer as a Thank You Gesture. If you dont drink, then a Coffee might be.

Actually all three aftermarket exhaust is good. Before watching this video I was with AWE. But now I am gonna go with Gursewak. Don’t take it personally because it’s sounds so loaded and full of bass. But it’s better to have an exhaust system, which you can control with dB killer.

Tec in uk claim 49 bhp with their cans, they sound great as well, have a look at their videos as they say there's a lot to be gained by cleaning up the air intake and putting better air filters in as well.

Had heard many good things about the RedRooster but this has completely changed my opinion on the them... With the baffle in the RedRoosters sound very tin-like .... Out of these bunch definitely the AEW sounds the best....not sure how loud these are in flesh...have to check that out before I get one for my bike

Dear friends, I have an Interceptor 650. I wish to change the exhaust. I have a few questions regarding this. 1. Technically does it harm the engine as one of my local mechanic had told me ? 2. Is it necessary to change the intake also (Air filter) ? 3. Which one to buy ? 4. Does changing the intake alone change the sound ?
There's a new exhaust that I am running. It is a full system 2x1 stainless steel exhaust that is 11 kg lighter than stock. Search SS Moto. All details on my Instagram.

AEW is best option in India. what a great sound. The owner of AEW is an Engineer, Shaqueel sir. He is very experienced and a very polite man. the factory is in Pune.

Love the stock set up. Got enough rumble to keep company for touring. Others are way too loud for my liking.
If you hear them in person, you won't find them too loud. The baffles make a huge difference. And now, even Gursewaks are coming with baffles.

Baffles are small pipes that are inserted inside exhausts so that the flow of gasses get restricted. They help the bike make less noise and pollution.

We've added a DNA air filter and a piggyback ECU unit. Power has gone up to 50.3 bhp. Will review soon.

AEW is best option in India. what a great sound. The owner of AEW is an Engineer, Shaqueel sir. He is very experienced and a very polite man. the factory is in Pune.
