Thank you! I think you’re the first person to say that. I’m glad you enjoy the background info of the truck. I definitely like to know more about them as well! Thank you for that comment. Happy New Year!
Thanks for the review. I asked for the review and bought it to support the Devs. Love the look of the grill and the livery. Haven’t actually been able to play much lately but I plan to catch up before the year 2 content comes out. One thing I noticed about all the paid DLC is that they aren’t overpowered so you don’t feel obligated to purchase them.
Wait Celtic, I thought you requested the KRS bandit? That’s coming next Friday for ya. Ya the truck is a good looking truck for sure! Hopefully you get more time to catch up on season 1 before the season 2 drops. Ya I did notice the dlc vehicles aren’t over powered as well. They are just more options for drivers to choose from. I really would like to see some balancing for a few trucks I feel should be better, but that’s just hopes and dreams ya know LOL
@@NProvince That’s right I did request the Bandit. Thanks for remembering me. I look forward to all of your reviews, very detailed and you put a lot of effort into them. Hope your channel continues to grow.
Of course man!! I just hope I can make a good review for your request. Thank you! I’m really glad people enjoy the content and hopefully the information is useful.
I think they look interesting. I dont usually play new vehicles on the public test server due to everything being subject to change, but Im excited to put in some solid time testing and researching them. Im pretty excited to be honest!
I think one important downside would be its price. At over $100 000 , when you want to buy a second one...or wishes to buy one in hard mode, the price difference between this and its 9500 counterpart is ridiculous. PM me when you have a chance, id like to suggest something for your futures reviews :)
Max, that’s a good point. I’m going to start a hardcore mode so I can add downsides like that one you just mentioned. I dunno if I can message on RUclips. My discord username is in the details of the video ;shoot me a message brother.
I really love the looks of the GMC Brigadier. It's good to know that it is also a highly capable vehicle. And I'm glad to see this well detailed review first before purchasing the DLC.
Hi Nathan , I have three game saves , one is my original from day 1 which is one phase 4 , one is on hard mode and the third one is a fresh start with the dlc trucks . I agree that if you pay for a truck then you should have it regardless . On hard mode I didn’t get it and on the fresh game I saw the same as you with waiting for a higher level before using it .
Martin, Hey so I believe what is happening is your running into the Hardmode Rules which dont allow DLC trucks to appear in the garage at the start of the game while the normal campaign; everything is unlocked. I think they do that just to keep the game at a high difficulty. I havent started hardmode yet but soon I will. I hope that helped brother!
Really most trucks do have a mud tire. From what I've seen in stats the lowest rated tire that classes as a mud tire is the MSH I (I think that's the name) at a 2.0 rating. Meanwhile the OHD I or UOD II (depending on the truck) both offer a mud rating of a 1.9. I mean yea, "technically" they are below a 2.0 so "technically" that puts those tires into the offroad class officially in-game. But I mean lets be real here, 1.9 VS 2.0. The OHD I & UOD II are every bit as much a mud tire as the MSH I are. A difference of 0.1 between them is literally nothing.
While you do have great points here the MSH aren’t as good as the MHS muds. I have a RUclips friend who has tested out all the tires and concluded despite the ratings on map runner the MHS has the best performance. Honestly I would just be happy with an OHD for all American trucks that would be amazing!
@@NProvince Oh it's MHS, OK I got the names mixed up. It's interesting, OHD is a heavy tire while UOD II is a medium. They both have the same mud stats but overall I think things slightly favors the OHD I. Still I always feel like the UOD II does really well. Maybe it's because they are a skinny tire, they just cut though the mud faster and grip the hard ground underneath, I dunno. It's like the TMHS/AMHS I tires. Those are supposed to have the best mud rating in the base game at 2.4, but the only reason I use them is for stability. If you ask me, those tires suck in mud and snow. Heck on the Tayga I don't even use them because the Tayga don't need the stability, I rather use OHD I over TMHS I I wonder if this game has a issue with how it calculates a tires contact patch with the surface?
@@justinlynch3 Ya i think the UOD II does really well. Im not sure how the game actually registers with contact on the driving surface. I definitely agree with you for sure
Of the gas-powered Chevrolet Bruin 80s and GMC Brigadier 8000s, while I know the medium-duty 427 big block V-8 was stout enough, for the years 1979 and '80 I think the medium-duty 454 big block could've been an option with its supreme rating of 245 hp/380 lb-ft (225 hp/365 lb-ft for '80).
Your reviews are by far the best on RUclips imho! Love this truck even though it might not be the best. I use it quite a bit for its crane, and I wanted to give the best tip for anyone who has it tipping with heavy lifts: park it facing where you want to lower the load and you can sort of drag heavy loads like metal beams along the ground until you can get it in front of you or above the cab. The way it flexes on that back axle makes the crane really tricky without any weight in the back unless you are on tarmac.
I know I’m commenting on a year old video but wanted to say I love the reviews and I finally bought this truck today and was using it on a new save game. It’s fun to drive imo
One thing I really love about your reviews is you give a short background and history of the truck, no snowrunner reviewers do that. Very informative.

This is my favorite truck in the game. This and the Brigadier MH 9500 are my main work horses in my GM only run.
Solid trucks for that run! Good stuff!
Nice review. What do you think of the tatras they are adding in phase 5. If you don’t know they are a tatra phoenix and tatra force

I definitely think its a good buy!
The game should allow us to reposition the saddle, moving it forward a couple of inches could help these trucks.
That would be nice

Way too jumpy for me to trust it.
What year is it supposed to be tho I wish they would put the year the truck is
Ya know that would be really cool if they added that. Great point!
Thanks Nathan. Can you give us a rundown on your machine specs at some point please?
You’re welcome! You mean my computer setup and such?

Ive been thinking about getting this truck thanks for the review
You’re welcome! What do you think about it after seeing the review? Purchase soon?
this truck is definitely worth it for me. though it does drink gas quite a bit so I alway have a scout on standby to help it when it gets low
For sure! I agree, as long as you have support around; it’s great!
@@NProvince also would you ever do a video like this on Mudrunner? I'd like to see something like the Ford LTL 9000 covered

I saw you thing in the discord
Oh ya LOL I do post them on discord
$107.200 ??? Hell no!
Way to expensive. I don’t think anyone has purchased this on a hardcore mode ever just due to the price tag.
