Don't, run before you can walk Andy. You will hit a plateau, and progress will slow to a crawl. You've taken risks, regardless how its worked out so far. Don't push your luck. What I see when you move your arm around is bad habits and overcompensation, not, correct movement.
    Please slow down.
I've had 15 shoulder operations, and half were most likely soley due to pushing too far too fast, post op.
I get it. You've been out of action so long, you want to get going. Don't put yourself at square one.
    Best of luck

Glad you're healing well. I agree with moving things as quickly as possible, it keep scar tissue from forming. Keep the good stuff coming.

Range of motion is important. Some of that must be credited to the surgeon. It does take quite a few weeks for everything to heal, sort of like 6-9 weeks for broken bones,. At some point you should be able to start adding weight to your progress. Granted, the first couple of weeks the joint needs to be immobilized so you don't undo what the surgeon did. I had ACL replacement 40 years ago; 3 weeks in a plaster cast from my toes to my balls and then a fiberglass split cast with a hinge for 10 weeks. The hinged cast allowed for some movement and stretching by week 6. Spent less than 2 weeks after the 2nd cast was removed at PT and was released due to the range of motion and strength. Still had many, many more months of rehabbing the joint and leg.

i had an impingement for over 10 years till the pain got unbearable and i couldnt lift my arm still took 18 months to get an operation but by then 2 muscels in my rotor cuff were severed and unrepaiable , it took over a year to get anything near normal function but not full strength ive had to seriously reduce my mechanical restoration business

Broke my arm right at this time last year. Broke both bones near the wrist and shattered the one. They(docs) made it sound like i would have trouble for the rest of my life. Im 46. It happened at the start up of my busy season. And killed my race season completely. But now i have zero issues with it. I can pick up anything i could before. I fell on it a month ago similar to how i broke it and it is strong. Heal how you need to heal.

It's great to see you progressing so well.
Just remember there is always that one thing waiting to rear its ugly head, it's that one moment of lapse.
Never had shoulder surgery. But have gone through 9 knee surgeries with the last 2 being total replacement.
Like you said you feel so many years younger, DONT forget your not younger. Take your time, let your body heal. And it sounds like your doing what I did, really pushing yourself, which is what I think helps get you going sooner. As long as you don't forget about that one thing !!! 👍 👍

From what I was told by people around me who got surgery, there seems to be kind of two schools of thought.
There seem to be doctors who wont to tie you up until everything is healed before you start moving it, with only some supervised PT in between.
And there are others, kind of scolding you when after a week or two after surgery due to a broken ankle you are not already trying to walk around without crutches and give you a hard time if you do not put some stress on it up to where it just starts hurting.

Look at your own video footage..The shoulder has dropped, you are giving in to it unconsciously.Could be its not as good as you think...Yes I had it done on my left side..Took me forever to stop dropping the should in movement...Look at the footage....

@@boatworkstoday I'm glad it seems better...I'm better in the fact I can reach out and lift an object now, before surgery I'd lost that movement..My tendons were torn from the bone and reattached I was told. I'm 10 years post surgery with rehab but still have pain. Now the doc tells me he needs to go back in to remove scar tissue...lol I accused him of needing to make his air plane payment...Cortizone did the trick for now..
