I would like to know how they compare in low lights situations please? I have a 920 and I am looking to upgrade because I am not satisfied with low lights streams. I plan to use it in nightclubs (low lights mixed with the clubs lightshows, smoke and lasers going on...)
Do you think the higher fps of the 922 can improve low lights situations compared to the 930e?
Hi! I would probably recommend the 930e as it's more aimed at business and I think gives a nicer image

@@ryobr true, but i travel with the lightest setup available, and clubs are a nightmare for gear, especially when i am djing i dont wanna bother handling a camera on a tripod so a webcam with decent exposure is cool enough for me

Thank you so much dude! I have been trying and trying to figure out which to buy (most videos comparing these two are solely for gamers!) and your video did the trick. I found this to be a very thorough comparison and I'm so happy you did the mics as well...unlike the last two videos I watched by other people. You probably just saved me 50 bucks (that I would have spent on a separate mic) because I realize now that the 922 mic will be plenty clear to use, for now, on my newly born RUclips channel :)
P.S. I didn't find the music distracting, I could still hear the audio differences pretty clearly.

Now I know that you should not rely on webcams for audio; however, after I get a webcam, I'm going to be a bit short on cash for awhile so I was wondering if you guys (including "The Hot End") think that the C930e has the better mic or the C922. That will be my deciding factor until I can afford to get a high quality mic.

I'm thinking of buying this webcam. Is there anyway to get rid of that underwater sound in the microphone when you're speaking in the logitech settings? I'd rather not have 2 buy a separate microphone, and that does sound pretty annoying. Also, do you know if the logitech c930 also produces this underwater noise in the microphone?
All webcam mics wont compare to a dedicated microphone...

If 1 would like to record a presentation done by others in say a small classroom of 25 pax, which would you recommend with 2 main reason (1.) capture the presentation slide and (2)also the sound would be important too

As others have noted, the background music was extremely annoying. Background music is usually an unwanted irritation on RUclips generally, but when trying to compare webcam audio it's particularly inappropriate.

Hey I just bought a logitech 930e webcam. My only problem is it's not mirrored correctly therefore everything appears backwards. Do you know how to change the reverse camera effect?
there is a mirror option in the settings
I clicked on my advanced settings and I see the mirror option within a split second, it vanishes before I try to click it. I installed the settings, diagnostic and Logitech camera software but is there something didn't install to make this feature accessible Do I need to upgrade my drivers or something?

of course, but you need an actual greenscreen with the c930 - the 922 does it with magic

None will do it will WELL without a greenscreen, both can with a greenscreen using OBS

C930e is better, sound is less muffled. But at the same time it sounds a bit compressed, like some strong noise reduction/auto gain is going on.
I would have appreciated a test in the dark, for gamers who stream in the darkness.

I use proper chromakey backdrops for my greenscreen, the built in 'software' one in the webcam is useless as one would expect

Interesting. I have the C930e. I only use Linux, and mine looks way better than yours, which I would assume is probably on a Windows box at worst, or at least a Mac box. But your sound, definitely blows mine out of the water.

I noticed the 930e had a weird color shift during autofocus where the picture looked great for a 1/10 of a second. 922 looks better. I think the 930e looks better than the 920.
