Yeah honestly it turns out this combo of weapons is not only viable but actually pretty fuckin powerful on it's own... My only real complaint is that it's just kinda boring lol
I like running 2 nailguns and blue sawblade as overheat nailgun just makes jumpstart do so much damage, just melt a hideous mass in seconds if you use sawblades to make it go off instantly
When I did this challenge with P-1, I also struggle with Flesh Prison to the point where I just activate auto aim to goof around thinking it wouldn't do much, but it did somehow. I even got the P-rank lol.
Yeah, I haven't done a whole run fist only (and don't know if I would) but I've at least done a few levels, and while it is definitely hard, it's more tedious than difficult. People might think parrying/avoiding damage is the hard part, but NOPE, dealing damage with such a limited toolset is the truly tough part.
okay so, flesh prision IS possible in violent with this rule set HOWEVER; it is REALLY difficult. You first magnet, blue saw you second stop shooting blue saws once the drones spawn you grapple and kill the drones (with aoe damage from knuckle blaster) you use blue projectiles with a knuckle blaster blast to do damage then do all the above twice and then FINALLY it's done also i'd note that drones like, dodge grapples, and it really sucks.
I kinda figured it'd have to be something like this + getting *very* lucky, unfortunately I just do not have the time or patience to grind it out for what would ultimately be a pretty unsatisfying fight against one of the more annoying bosses in the game... But thanks for breaking it down!

People think rockets are gonna be sooo easy, but I think there's honestly a lot of enemies that will be annoying.

as someone who puts all skill points in Parry while sacrificing speed and dodge, i can agree that Arm only is pretty hard

Ah yeah true, that is one thing I didn't think of, I think this would've been only slightly more effective than just punching them *at best* though.
I've done arms only and honestly it helps a ton by forcing you to parry everything. Which then applies in normal gameplay
