  • A long hike around the beautiful Dingle Peninsula taking in Masatiompan and a few of the Brandon Summits
    Thoroughly enjoyed this and it gives a great idea of what to expect on this trip. It’s a long one at 18km and 1200m elevation gained.
    For more on this hike and lot of images, that for some reason I didn't add to the video, are up on my blog on my website. Felt the video was long enough without adding pics..

    Well done. 👍
    🤔 It does make a big difference when there's no horizontal rain and howling wind on a day out like you had. 🤞😎 Still, for your last bit of chat at the end , look at the speed of the clouds blasting along behind you. 😲 Fair dues to you, you're making a Couch Potato like me feel more unfit than I usually do. 😉🤣 Have a good one. 👍 Kind regards, Brendan

      Thanks Brendan. Staying dry definitely helps, you just get used to the wind. I’m not the fittest either, but I just plod along, that and I’m probably stubborn. 🤣

      Thanks Darren, that carpark at the start/end was the carpark i watched your weekly from. I’m already looking forward to doing it again, in the summer.

    As you said at one point in the video “Great Stuff” That’s for sure! The length of the film was good too.

      Hiya Gary, thanks. I’ve been wanting to do them a bit longer for a while, but the shorter walks make it a bit trickier. I do end up cutting a good bit out as I don’t want to be filling just for the sake of it. Coming into the “summer” will hopefully help out with that also. Thanks again, Ed

    Great. I went up the Paternoster lakes way in June and went down the same way you walked. On the top it was extremely stormy and completely cloudy. The paternoster lakes were an adventure.

      Hi, that’s on my list for later in the year. I did it last March and there was a bit of snow up top. It’s a great route up and I’m looking forward to it to be honest. Will wait for dry weather as it is a bit rocky. Although you have me thinking about it now. Hhmmm. thanks, Ed

    • @celtictiger78
      @celtictiger78 Год назад

      @@eddieforde I think it was not that rocky. It was ok. Yes there were many glacial rocks, but with enough space to go trough this fields. The waterfalls in that valley mixed with the lakes. That was absolutely ridiculous. Hope to do that again by better weather.
