Since I don’t have a pc powerful enough to support SC yet, I’ve been following its development just to keep up to date. And only a few days ago did I have the idea to go on RUclips and watch some content. And your SC content, by far, is some of the most entertaining and relaxing content out there! Keep it up!
Hey, vulcan can helo a bit in some cases and the game is slowly getting easier on your pc. I would recommend to try free flight after 4.0 or even for 3.24.
@@Nahoogg maybe 4.0, but I doubt my computer can run SC very well. It’s graphics is a RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU. It’s got 16GB of RAM that I’m going to upgrade to 32 soon. I don’t remember the CPU specs off the top of my head, but I doubt it’s powerful enough for SC 😅
@@borgthepig the ram upgrade is very important, 16GB does nto run SC well, your graphics card "should" be fine with SC, SC is light on GPUs but is very CPU intensive so make sure you upgrade your CPU for better fps, finally getting an SSD is an absolute necessity, if you cannot even run the game and you don't have an SSD look no further this is the reason why And final thing if you have an intel CPu it's very important you disable ecores (in your bios settings, look up a guide on YT) as this will greatly improve your performance on every game, I don't recommend getting an intel CPU because of ecores but if that's all you have then yeah go ahead and disable them
Star Citizen is like, hey imma do this thing, then proceed to setup thing for the next 3 hours working around bugs and random deaths the last i played start citizen i was doing the vaughn missions and at the time the tiger claws were glitched so we did a mission to get a cryptokey just to use that on the comm array then we had to grab a speeder bike to get to the comm array just to get there and find out it was bugged and we cant deactivate the comm array
I try to play at times where most people aren't on, and generally in Asain or EU servers. The ping is pretty bad but the server performance more than makes up for it
Absolutely! Feel free to join our discord, there’s almost always people online so finding a group won’t be a problem, if you specifically wanted to be in a video I’ll post an event at some point for the next one and you can sign up for it
Probably some kind of stealth ship with distortion repeaters maybe? Or possibly a space bike depending on the target. It'll be hard to sneak up without being seen just because of emissions
@CaptainFlynn117 I guess it would take a team and a plan... perhaps if one gets just close enough to jump at a ship...? I don't suppose they make anything with emissions so negligible that getting a team directly to the ship in question undetected then.
Those are some solid specs, I would recommend playing at 1440p and below with dlss and vulkan turned on, even though you are running intel. Then all settings maxed out except for clouds, it sounds counterintuitive but that’s the way the alpha is optimized at the moment, it’ll reduce the load on your cpu because everything is super cpu heavy currently
Also keep in mind that there's a problem with Vulkan right now. After an hour or two of playing people experience frame rates drops. This has been confirmed by the developers as a bug and will be fixed, but for now I'd stick to DirectX for long play sessions
Huh good to know, is the framerate drop more than you would be gaining by running Vulkan in the first place? Vulkan still makes a pretty big difference for me
@@CaptainFlynn117 People said that yes, that was the case for them. But we have to keep in mind that all of this is system dependent at the end of the day, so who knows what's best
What are your specs man. I have a 3060ti and a Ryzen 7 3700 x with 16gb of ram. It never runs this smooth. Also I have a black screen on my ASOP terminals (no matter where I go) an can't play without somebody picking me up currently so I'm pretty pissed at this game right now. Might go play Elite Dangerous. Because it's not bugged to shit and actually finished.
Yeah it’s not optimized for performance or bugs right now because it’s still in active development. I often take a break and come back to it in a few weeks or months. A lot of stuff is server based right now and not so much dependent on hardware necessarily
I honestly don't care what you post because I know with 100% certainty I'll eat it up and still want more afterwards. You keep having fun and I'll keep watching 🫡

Thank you very much! I'm really happy to hear you enjoy it, that's exactly what I'm trying to accomplish with my videos

Check out Citizen Kate she does enjoyable stuff too.

Hell yeah, Corsair! I love the Corsair. Thanks for the content, man.
Me too! it’s a fantastic ship, really glad you enjoy the vlogs!
Gotta have at least one BOOM per Flynn adventure 😂 And the taking off the helmet in space is epic. Loved the whole thing!
...as always ;)
Haha thanks again man, really glad you enjoyed!
This Is My Favorite Ship and I was waiting for you todo this!
Well I'm glad you enjoyed! The Corsair is a ton of fun, the firepower alone is pretty ridiculous
Hey Flynn, wondering what your pc specs are?
Sure thing, I have a 7950x3d paired with a 4090 and 64gb of ddr5
loving these videos. makes me wish i had a crew of this size lmao
Also, how do you always find such good servers to play on? Lots of footage I’ve seen, the simulation just completely breaks!
I try to play at times where most people aren't on, and generally in Asain or EU servers. The ping is pretty bad but the server performance more than makes up for it
u need to use ballistics to open the door on a destroyed ship
Best ending!!
amazing vid bro your advice on settings saved me from buying a new pc
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! I’m really happy to hear that it helped
whats up captain flynn. Im getting star citizen soon, is there a chance that i could join you sometimes for a mission or 2?

Batalla en el espacio 🛰️🚀
Nice video man
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
I wonder what ship would be best to sneak up and take people's ships without damage.

What are your pc specs if you don’t mind me asking? SC seems to run so smoothly on your pc
id be cautious leaving engines on when you eva. lol. ships fly away by themselves sometimes
Yeah good point, I’ve been getting better at doing that but sometimes I forget
Is that in game voip or discord? Sounds good
Thanks, it’s discord but people have been boosting the server and I think one of the perks is better audio
