happened once to me and my friend in his cutlass black the gear was down but not the engines and a bad storm came and it went 750m until it hit a tall hill side and stopped it long enough for us to gain control again it was dark outside too so it was sketchy lol

The “Strafing” scene was so intense. The fact that you don’t get a good look at the ship, just a glimpse of the tip of its wing as it turns around for another volley, only to hear “RUUUUNNN!!” And have Bed turn to make a break for the only cover around, a hundred meters away. The dramatic music was a great touch. The attacks from behind, narrowly missing Bed, throwing debris and shining a brilliant menacing crimson at it hits the planet’s surface. A masterpiece, I only wished it would have lasted longer.
Just knowing that all of the other ships that they fought and human resistance they faced were all actually other players trying to stop them makes this experience so much more intense. Reminds me of the old Gmod Meth RP days.
Thos meth rp servers were master pieces just like every video BedBananas makes, every video is so damn creative and cinematic it's amazing, and it so sick that him and his buddies all like doing this stuff together!
@Aspiring Marauder nah. All of the ships are pretty much purchasable In game (only some rare alien ships aren't at the moment). There's really no reason to spend a lot. As long as you get cutlass or prospector you can farm some pretty good credits In game and get the ship you want that way. That said, I did spend enough to be concierge after 7 years of backing this game, but never spent more than what I could afford.

I went from not even knowing of the existence of Star Citizen last night, to now ravenously searching for gameplay footage on RUclips all day. This looks unbelievable! I was sitting on the edge of my seat watching this play through like it was from a friggin movie. What a great video! I'd drop the $45 on the game right now if I knew I'd have time to play it - but I work about 60-70 hours a week so no time right now. In the meantime, I'll just keep watching these dope let's plays.

This really is a good teamup, with Bed being the wide eyed charismatic newbie, Lawlman being the grizzled pilot, Thinly being the deadpanned cinnamon roll, papa being the adventurous one and percussion being a man with burned pizza. Its a real good dynamic
Can’t emphasize enough how the added music, inspirational montages, choice dialogue, and contrasting personalities of the team make this video so damn special. I’m grateful to have seen this
Legit, that moment had more emotional impact to me than that final space battle in The Rise of Skywalker. Just think about that. A RUclips video was able to executed a setup and payoff scene better than a multi-million budget film. Hats off to these guys honestly, it was hell of a video.

I'm most excited for player driven economy. I was wondering how they could actually implement it when things like this prison exist, then realized - planetary contracts, where player groups can purchase the contract of a given planet (for a large sum) and then are responsible for it's running as well as "profits." Give incentive for players guarding the planet and preventing escape.
That sequence from 18:00 was unironically one of the best segments i've seen in filmography. The music, the delivery, the cuts, the humour. It was absolutely perfect
After hours of meticulously studying the route you took in your video, perfecting the jumps, refining my timing, I finally did it! And by did it, I mean, I finally realized that your edits left some parts out... I'm still in jail...
Every moment of this vid felt like it was actually adding to the narrative and not filler. Each scene felt like it was deliberate in pacing and tone despite these guys were lightly RPing. Bed was the young rookie caught up with the law nailing him hard time Lawlman was the seasoned space vet who knew the game all too well. Bed quickly finds out the oppressive hard time would wittle him down to nothing, he needs to be a free space cowboy like Lawl. And so, bed is off to find escape and himself in the bowels of the prison. Along the way team members are lost physically and mentally. But they persevere, the taste of freedom is all too close. Mishaps and the law playing a last minute trump card ensure an intense ending that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Escaping the incoming strafe run from the bounty hunter was the cherry on top. And the ensuing spectale of the space battle until the moment they hit warp drive. That was just a victory lap. All down to the final talk with Lawl and the crew deciding where to go next, was just a nice bow to tie it all together.
this video really, truly feels like a scifi movie from when i was a kid and wasnt cynical at all. bedbananas, you make art my man. this was hilarious and beautiful and just amazing.
Every second of this video was suspenseful. It was the closest to a Star Citizen movie that I’ve ever seen. From the “look up” in the vent to Lawlman flying over the crashed Ursa with that ominous noise along with the chase at the end… this was a masterpiece.
I actually can't believe that one person changes a way a guy looks at this game... this hidden side it'ts beautiful. Thank you for this video it was truly an amazing experience hopefully we will hear from this journey again. Till then

@@ajax8341 The game lacks alot of content. Adding to that, i have to say that hand carrying boxes from A point to B point is not content. Hauling commodities that has no effect to the ecenomy is not content. I have a beast PC, the game looks visually good and i loooove no loading screens in the game but here is the major problem. It is the unpractical designs and methods CIG trying so hard to put in SC is the real killer here. That is why this game is so late for that future play because they are busy adding showers and swimming pools into ships which in reality, nobody gives a fuk. The only heart pumping experience i've had in this game since 2019 was my fried tried to prison break me and flew me to the Security Post where you delete your crime stats with a card. We fought with bounty hunters on the road and escaped with quantum drive to reach Security Post. Bounty hunters followed us and killed me by spraying the landing platform while i was running inside. The end.

@@vrygon0 Planet tech is pretty much done now, they can make worlds pretty quickly now, in fact all the worlds are on v.4 of the tech and were remade in a matter of weeks, bar a few tweaks v.4 is what they'll probably stick with. The main limitation is the server meshing and SSOCS, which are meant to be finished sometime next year, cos currently the servers have to track everything and its a total memory hog. Once the servers can handle it, they can whip out new systems pretty quickly.
Actual amazing video. I'll never understand how you and others who make content in the same genre are capable of creating actual art just by fucking around in a videogame. It ends up coming out as something the likes of a hit film that isn't 2 and a half hours long. Great video, keep it up.
If the devs would like to improve the Ai i would suggest made the word like "out", "escape" or any other similar word that if spoken within the 'hearing' radius of the guards will make them question the player with dialog choice and options, the negative respond will result in longer time in prison or will be put in interrogation room again with dialog choice. If players troll altogether saying the 'forbidden' word, all guards in the area will be in full alert and the whole place will be locked down. Yeah, one can only dream.
@@CookieeMonstarr666 voice recognition is a bitch, I think they should make guards have suspicion, so if 2 or more players are too close to each other for too long, guards will tell them to disperse, if they dont guards could put them in solitary. only makes sense that they wouldnt want prisoners conspiring.

I'm most excited for player driven economy. I was wondering how they could actually implement it when things like this prison exist, then realized - planetary contracts, where player groups can purchase the contract of a given planet (for a large sum) and then are responsible for it's running as well as "profits." Give incentive for players guarding the planet and preventing escape.

Every moment of this vid felt like it was actually adding to the narrative and not filler. Each scene felt like it was deliberate in pacing and tone despite these guys were lightly RPing.
Bed was the young rookie caught up with the law nailing him hard time
Lawlman was the seasoned space vet who knew the game all too well.
Bed quickly finds out the oppressive hard time would wittle him down to nothing, he needs to be a free space cowboy like Lawl. And so, bed is off to find escape and himself in the bowels of the prison. Along the way team members are lost physically and mentally. But they persevere, the taste of freedom is all too close. Mishaps and the law playing a last minute trump card ensure an intense ending that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Escaping the incoming strafe run from the bounty hunter was the cherry on top. And the ensuing spectale of the space battle until the moment they hit warp drive. That was just a victory lap. All down to the final talk with Lawl and the crew deciding where to go next, was just a nice bow to tie it all together.

Every second of this video was suspenseful. It was the closest to a Star Citizen movie that I’ve ever seen. From the “look up” in the vent to Lawlman flying over the crashed Ursa with that ominous noise along with the chase at the end… this was a masterpiece.

@@ajax8341 The game lacks alot of content. Adding to that, i have to say that hand carrying boxes from A point to B point is not content. Hauling commodities that has no effect to the ecenomy is not content. I have a beast PC, the game looks visually good and i loooove no loading screens in the game but here is the major problem. It is the unpractical designs and methods CIG trying so hard to put in SC is the real killer here. That is why this game is so late for that future play because they are busy adding showers and swimming pools into ships which in reality, nobody gives a fuk. The only heart pumping experience i've had in this game since 2019 was my fried tried to prison break me and flew me to the Security Post where you delete your crime stats with a card. We fought with bounty hunters on the road and escaped with quantum drive to reach Security Post. Bounty hunters followed us and killed me by spraying the landing platform while i was running inside. The end.

It only seems that way because of the editing, added music, and acting. Actually playing this game is a janky fucking nightmare.
@@vrygon0 Planet tech is pretty much done now, they can make worlds pretty quickly now, in fact all the worlds are on v.4 of the tech and were remade in a matter of weeks, bar a few tweaks v.4 is what they'll probably stick with.
The main limitation is the server meshing and SSOCS, which are meant to be finished sometime next year, cos currently the servers have to track everything and its a total memory hog.
Once the servers can handle it, they can whip out new systems pretty quickly.

Actual amazing video. I'll never understand how you and others who make content in the same genre are capable of creating actual art just by fucking around in a videogame. It ends up coming out as something the likes of a hit film that isn't 2 and a half hours long. Great video, keep it up.

Those guards dont get paid nearly enough to deal with that shit.
If the devs would like to improve the Ai i would suggest made the word like "out", "escape" or any other similar word that if spoken within the 'hearing' radius of the guards will make them question the player with dialog choice and options, the negative respond will result in longer time in prison or will be put in interrogation room again with dialog choice. If players troll altogether saying the 'forbidden' word, all guards in the area will be in full alert and the whole place will be locked down.

@@CookieeMonstarr666 voice recognition is a bitch, I think they should make guards have suspicion, so if 2 or more players are too close to each other for too long, guards will tell them to disperse, if they dont guards could put them in solitary. only makes sense that they wouldnt want prisoners conspiring.
@@CookieeMonstarr666 also make it so the mining laser can be smuggled out of the mines to be used as weapons. Would make an escape easier.
