Halloween ends movie recap. Laurie Strode is living with her granddaughter and working on her biography four years after her final encounter with masked killer Michael Myers. Myers hasn't been seen since, and Laurie chooses to let go of her hatred and anxiety and accept life. When a young man is accused of murdering a kid he was babysitting, it sets off a chain reaction of violence and horror that pushes Laurie to confront the evil she cannot control.
Will there be a sequel to Halloween Ends?
So, will there be a Halloween Ends sequel? No, appears to be the answer. David Gordon Green has said unequivocally that the film is the final chapter in his trilogy, hence there will be no direct sequel to Halloween Ends. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jamie Lee Curtis verified this.

Corey’s mother had a proven theory. Michael vanished after his bloody rampage from the previous Halloween chapter. But his vengeance passed beyond Haddonfield, infecting the innocent. Corey was accused falsely of a murder. Unfortunately, he became the new Michael Myers.
In the book, it's the homeless man that drags Cory in the tunnel to feed him to Michael Myers, also its the homeless man that's been feeding Michael people to kill for the last 4 years.

Weather anyone who replies to me is gonna defend the film or agree with me I’m fine with either. THIS MOVIE WAS TERRIBLE I wasted nearly 2 hours of my life by watching what isn’t even a Halloween movie. Michael changing his ways and having someone else do his job for him is so not Michael and he was way too weak in this movie. Laurie letting go of her past and celebrating Halloween is soooooo not Laurie. Why does every Halloween timeline have to end in junk? Please don’t even make the excuse at least they tried something new because this was the most idiotic way to end the timeline and the movie made no sense only saw the movie once and never saw it again. Such a horrible film and I can’t believe it even exists

I really loved this film, it was a weird way to end the trilogy but its honestly my favorite film of the year in an already great year of horror films.

It was bad for what most people expect a Michael Myers film to be and bad for what most people were expecting for a final chapter in a trilogy but I would argue that it was amazing at being both those things. Ends is a very well made film from the ground up with great directing and cinematography and the score is amazing along with everyone's acting. The plot took a turn noone was expecting and most people didn't want but I think the plot and story was amazing. It's a film that's more about haddonfield amd the people in it and how they have all been effected my Michael Myers and had all thier lives ruined my his rampage and evil. I absolutely love Michael and seeing him go on a killing spree but this film showed us what happens after his rampage and I love that a lot. The town was so damaged and infected by his evil that the town turned in on itself and the people against eachother. They blamed the wrong people and turned Corey and laurie into thier new monsters because Michael had disappeared. I dont like seeing Michael weak and hiding waiting to die but it fits this story they are telling in this film. Micheal being in the sewer underneath the town is great symbolism with his evil seeping into the ground infecting people and the shape of his mask is even carved into the rock and his knife is lodged into the rock like he is rooted into the town. Corey is a very tragic character that had a good life and a good future planned out but after one halloween night and one bad accident his life is ruined all because of the halloween night and Michael's effect on the town. He became more detached and more of an outcast as all the people in town abused and neglected him even his mother made his life more difficult. The part of him at the bar party and he runs into Jeremy's mom and she goes off on him for being happy and all he can bring himself to say to her is a shaky and somber "I'm sorry", that part gets me. He was descending into madness and once he met Michael we went fully into the evil but the only thing keeping his good side alive was allyison. They fell in love fast yeah but they were both outcasts in the town and finally both found someone that might understand them and be there for them. Laurie was the best shes been since 78 in Ends I think, I loved seeing her happy and trying to move on when the rest of the town cant. I wanted her to die in this film original but after seeing her happy I wanted her to live and as soon as she noticed the evil in corey she went right back to badass laurie and was officially the most dangerous person in haddonfield. I love the scene of her waking corey to the sound of the chair banging against the wall and her telling him about the different kinds of evil pretty much letting him know that she knows and he wont win against her. My favorite scene is probably the junkyard massacre when corey gets the mask and finally snaps on all the people that have wronged him and made him a monster. I love the new opening credits amd how the pumpkins emerge from eachother like the franchise shedding it's skin. This trilogy has a lot in common with the original trilogy even down to each having the same opening font as its counterpart in the original trilogy. Corey has a lot in common with both Michael and laurie, he is responsible for a murder on Halloween and returns to the house of the murder all the time like Michael. But he was also the innocent babysitter that's life was ruined on Halloween night like laurie. There are a hundred other reasons I love this film but this comment has gone on long enough but I've got more in the bank if you need but for now I'll end this one by saying Michael Myers is a Universal monster at this point like Frankenstein and Dracula and his story will always be retold and reshaped for new story's and films. Some will be atmospheric slasher body counts like Kills from 21 and H2 from 81 and some will be weird like Ends and Season of the Witch but I'm glad this franchise can do different things and expand the lore and the world of these characters. We will see Michael again in his full glory and we will see him again in ways we weren't expecting. I bet people will look back on Ends in a better light after years have past and more Micheal myers films have released and it will be a cult classic. It already is to myself and others I've spoken too.
I thought Halloween Kills was awesome because of the spectacular kills and the return of many characters from the past.
I do like your analysis on Ends though. I think what people really didn’t like was seeing Michael more human like. How can Michael get weak when we’ve been sold on him being superpower like since the beginning?
Also, I think Michael should have reached out and pulled Laurie into the shredder with him at the end.
Anyways I appreciate the trilogy and I look forward to the next one!!

I think at first they wanted to keep Michael more human and not supernatural but when they got to kills and Ends they tried hinting at him being supernatural but still keep it ambiguous and they did alright but do think they leaned more twords him being supernatural and I'm cool with that. I think Ends definitely hinted that he was like Kills did. The way I see it is the evil in the shape was the only thing keeping him alive but his human side, the body of Michael myers was getting old and worn down from all the years and recent damage. He was in the sewers waiting to die but still killed every once in awhile and corey "feeding" him more kills got the shape rejuvenated and ready for more but the body was still to old and damaged. So I take it as yeah Micheal is slightly supernatural in all 3 films.

Did anyone else find it strange how Corey accidentley killed and gets labelled a killer but then intentionally killed? It was a decent movie regardless.
They ruined Michael myers turned him into a old useless fool now I will never forgive them for this.

Until the ending when it truly is Halloween Ends (supposedly)

Even when Michael kills the geek- he gets his ass kicked in by an old aged pensioner, who threw him around that kitchen like a rag doll. Look at how strong Michael was in Halloween kills. Tell me that's the same psycho killing machine. It's the weakest film plot ever. A seriously messed up film. At least Halloween resurrection has Michael as a super killer and not a pathetic sap.

@@icekill5891 so your calling the majority of people and reviewers of this film wrong. It was rubbish. Was poorly thrown together as the director wanted to move onto other projects. The delay being covid here. Would it have been an entirety better movie if it wasn't for that factor- who knows, it didn't help the production. I personally think it's the worst and I'm entitled to have an opinion. Please respect it even if you disagree. Halloween kills wasn't great either in parts, but the killing scenes absolutely superb. Let's be honest that's what many of us like...MICHAEL KILLING RELENTLESSLY. It's a horror movie, it's implied.
