- Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) has managed to kill Michael Myers (James Jude Courtney) again, but the fight is not over. The whole town rallies together to destroy Michael's body, and hopefully prevent him from ever coming back to kill again.
Halloween Ends (2022): The most acclaimed and revered horror franchise in film history reaches its epic, terrifying conclusion as Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) faces off for the last time against the embodiment of evil, Michael Myers. Michael hasn't been seen for four years after the events of Halloween Kills. Laurie lives with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and has chosen to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. When a young man is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, a cascade of violence and terror is ignited with a final confrontation between Laurie and Michael unlike any ever captured on screen. Only one of them will survive.

"He's dead."
"Not dead enough." Truer words have never been spoken when it comes to horror franchise villains. I like when there's a definitive ending where the bad guy doesn't come back again. There's a point where coming back again gets old. Finally, the good guy wins for real.
I know right! If they had just taken the last 10 minutes of this film and put it in Halloween Kills, we could have gotten two perfect films!
Evil never dies
@@freddykruegeroretalhadorde5030 Just Michael. Someone else will come along.
I can understand your point, but the symbology is usually the idea that evil never dies.
In reality is more just a way to make a sequel or however far down the franchise line it’s gotten.
So in a way it’s still “evil never dies” the evil is just corporate greed squeezing every drop of profit from a beloved franchise.
Of course, now there's the question of how long until we get a sequel where either someone tries to recreate Micheal (either in a cultish sense or in a "My that man was hard to kill, let's see use that for our super-soldier program" sense, or someone trying to become the NEW Micheal Myers). The man was damned hard to kill, I'd bet anything the legends is even more enduring.
Dr Loomis in his grave:
"You did good Laurie. You did good."
And Laurie died in one of the movies, after that one I didn't watch many of the ones after that

The movie wasn't what it could have been, but I did enjoy it. I feel very satisfied with this conclusion! Nice to see the whole town come together and end Michael's reign of terror once and for all! This is the ending that Laurie Strode deserved! 👏👏👏
Yeah say what you want about the movie, it did choose some odd directions, but they did good by the ending.
Michael deserved to have won.
I just imagine Micheal grabs Laurie in the grinder as his last kill
Would've made sense
I would have prefer that cuz maybe this is really the end of the franchise
I thought she was gonna go die with Michael.
@@_1cat1_no man it's not the end of the franchise it's the end of this Trilogy yeah guaranteed there will be another movie. I hated this fucking ending this whole movie was trash. She talks about all that and kills and then to have him living in a fucking sewer and have a 20 something year old punk so easily take his mask from him was bulshit

Evil never dies. Evil always finds a way.
I haven't watched the movie myself, but I have seen a few of the older ones. However, it's refreshing to see a town come together and ensure, beyond any doubt, that the monster that has been terrorizing them for decades has been dealt with in such a way that he will never be able to return naturally.
I still don't know how I feel about this....even years later....I don't understand why they used Corey if they weren't going to use the evil transcending and changing shapes idea
I'm sure the evil will transcend and change shape it'll probably just be someone else who's the shape of evil next time around
He went upstairs with Allyson.. so they can say that Corey got her pregnant and that is where the evil transferred.
I like to think dr Sam loomis was watching this from heaven and had a giant grin across his face
Not just Dr Loomis but everyone michael Myers killed .
I like how they constantly teased us with his face every time,
His legacy will continue no matter who he goes thru like he did Corey!

A good end to a less-than-great movie.
As long as Halloween Franchise is bringing in money along with fans, It will never be over. John Carpenter said so himself. I'd love for Him to do The Next! 😂

Profound tribute to both just sad for Laurie everybody she ever loved died by the one she once loved all due to whatever was ever wrong with Michael’s mind was touching two final girls getting to get the very one that took so much from them the final special town like it was saluting two heroes and the town ridding the very evil that took so much from them i loved how finally they banded together one last stand and finally won epically well done Jamie Lee and John Carpenter well done
This is a prime example of a towns retribution. The law went out the window. Michael was way too dangerous to kept locked up or kept alive. Personally I'd call in a SWAT team, they would do the job
He'd decimate the swat team they wouldn't last five minutes
@@samanthapatrick4345 I don't know about that. SWAT teams are really good at what they do on a tactical and strategy levels. Give them the right information about Michael and they can have neutralized fairly quick. This is interpreted with real world logic. However in horror movie tropes, yeah he probably lay waste to them
@samanthapatrick4345 Not a chance. The SWAT Team are armoured and have all sorts of things. Michael Myers wouldn't last a minute against them.

I love how Laurie wore the same clothes from the very first movie
I’m strangely sad that we’ll never see the original Micheal Myers ever again. I wish the movie was actually good but this scene was worth the end of many years of terror Micheal brought on screen. Happy Halloween 🎃 🔪
The end was great except the boring parts but I still feel like H20 should have been the end.
HALLOWEEN ENDS is far from perfect. However, it is not the worst movie in horror movie history. It's just misguided. The idea is there, the acting is brilliant, & it's not a lazy movie.
But, I think we owe David Gordon Green a heartfelt thanks for trying his best at restarting a new timeline story of such an iconic horror movie masterpiece from 1978 with Laurie Strode & Michael Myers.
5:44 Its Over…
Bro was legendary
I’m dead laughing not gonna lie. And he still comes back lol
Wish the filmmakers would have went another route after this series concluded... and spared horror fans of the abortion that was "Exorcist: Believer"... and the two more subsuquent films slated to follow that act.
As Pamela Voorhees once said in Freddy vs. Jason, "No matter what they do to you, you cannot die. You can never die." The same can be said for Michael; as long as studios remember him and continue making movies about him, he can never truly die.
I just love this movie. It's so misunderstood.
Right? The last 25 minutes is fantastic but I remember the rest of the movie leading up to it kind of bored me, but upon rewatching it I love it all now. It's such a different format for a Halloween movie and less predictable.
It's nice cliffhanger but all it takes is the cult of thorns to put that mask on someone else then the shape lives on. Which is why I'm excited for the next movie

From the 1990s to 2023 I’m here and I want another one
Imagine if the cult of thorn existed in this timeline and they somehow resurrect Michael in a new form
An interesting concept if they wanted to try and "bring Michael back" again could be for the idea of use of that entire black cult of the thorne thing. I don't think they should personally, but if they are going to, that's how I would. It would give them access to the alternate timeline that has been used by simply explaining it as Michael had an identical twin that was secreted away and hidden away by that black thorne cult. There has actually been studies conducted in real life about the idea of identical twins being "linked" somehow. I'm NOT personally advocating for this. What I am saying is that if they do the whole "michael didn't die thing" then that is how I would do it, and I'd use the real studies of how the possibility of identical twins being somehow linked together as a way to at least explain why another "Michael" would appear and start his rampage. The black thorne cult could be a simple plot tool and then written out, and not be the focus of the entire next set of movies. I'd write them out by saying something like their mission was complete once they found out Michael's twin (the one from Halloween Ends) was destroyed finally, and then the "Michael" the cult has was released. It would allow their "mission" to have been completed and it could be shown they were moving on to some other twisted ritual that involved something completely unrelated to the Halloween series of movies. Then if people wanted to take the idea of a black thorne cult thing and do some other movie(s) ot would allow for an entire new property that could be used to show "easter eggs" from the Halloween movies as a way to pay homage to what John Carpenter created. That would be the best way for Michael to truly be "immortal." We all know that somehow the Halloween and Michael Meyers story will eventually be rebooted somehow, but my personal interest is just for Halloween to be honored without it being entirely dumb or cheesy. I'm not getting paid and have no skin in the game per se, but it bothers me when great franchises are butchered (pardon the pun) at the extent of a cash grab.
He will be back for the 50th anniversary in the next reboot in about 5 years like they said you can’t kill the boogeyman.
Before Corey died, he got Allyson pregnant. Laurie kept Michael's mask... Guess who's gonna find it one Halloween night years from now and put it on? "HALLOWEEN REBORN"
Notice that Michael still did not bleed. This is because he had no heart.
Is it true that there will be no more Halloween movies? This movie killed off Michael pretty much for good. Still, they could be ANOTHER retcon, ANOTHER reboot or do something anthology related like they did for Halloween 3. Will there be any more Halloween movies?
No he definitely ain't coming back after bien put thru a shredder 😂
There is a legal contract that prevents them from killing Michael Myers permanently, so a reboot is coming. Recently A24 Studios was trying to get the rights but another studio beat them to it.

This scene would've hit so much harder if they hadn't made it look like much of Haddonfield had moved on from Michael. There should've been parents forbidding trick or treating, candlelight vigils for all the people Michael killed in the prior two movies, and no radio DJ making jokes about it.
Thank God for John Carpenter. His music made these films so much better.
Laurie was always seen as a crazy lady, Haddonfield people are disgusting and they had no respect, its unlikely they would fear Michael since they are too cocky thinking they can beat the evil themselves. But they also are evil, this movie is much more about evil shape shifting to other bodies and leaving michael than making people moved on a trauma. This generation of Haddonfield never feared Michael, they never had to trive the trauma since they never had it. The movie criticezes a lot of how fearless people tend to be because they are so arrogant to think they are imortal with their mean acts.
