- How can You craft your own signature basslines and apply your bass repertoire in any rhythmic scenario?
Every bassline and rhythm is built on a sequence of groups. In this video, we explore the rhythmic foundation of a common grouping (42424), develop dynamic bass parts with it, and uncover familiar riffs along the way. This video is part of a trilogy where I utilize the same bass vocabulary and creative steps across three different groupings to develop basslines: 42424 and 44332 - two very popular 4/4 groupings, and 334 - the most common grouping for grooves in 5/8 or 5/4.
The examples in this video are based on my book 'BASS MATRIX' (published by Alfred Music).

Is that a G&L bass?
Yes, it's a g&l lb-100 (usa)
@@thebassmatrix stupid question but do you happen to know what year it is? I’m asking because I was a guitar polisher for G&L back in 1988
@@bornbrit7776 Wow. That sounds exciting exciting. This is quite a new instrument from 3 years ago. and I think the G&L-P-bass is a pretty new model
@@thebassmatrix truth is I’m trying to find a 1988 model with my polish number on it , to buy. It’s a part of my history so I’d love to own one
