Absolutely perfect! 💗 Thank you mucho for sharing your wealth of knowledge, it’s so unbelievably helpful. I’m definitely going to get a small compressor because I see it makes a world of a difference with the brad nails going into the frame. That is the part I struggle with the most, I can never seem to get the brad nails flush and it’s a whole ordeal! I also got really thin plywood and that’s been a nightmare trying to get the nails perfectly into the wood 😖 Do you put press and seal or something into your paint tray for the roller, for easy clean up?

I also use a 4 inch foam roller to paint my boards, but sometimes when it dries I see some roller lines..not sure if it's my painting technique. Does that happen on your boards too? It's more noticeable when it's a black background.

Hi. I just recently found your channel and I am eating up your videos as fast as I can. Is there any chance you want to video on how you use your planer. I know you said you don’t need one to start but it makes it easier on sanding and I have some strength problems and dexterity issues with my hands so I want to know if I should get a planer even though it’s kind of out of my budget. I would be interested in knowing how long you have to sand some thing to get it paint or stain ready when you use the planer versus when you don’t. I thank you for all the hard work you put into these videos. They are very informative and your teaching style is just perfect for my learning style, LOL Be well and stay safe!

I know harbor freight is cheap but if you want to keep your foam rollers longer, you can keep the entire roller inside the van once it gets low enough to not cover the hole where you put in the roller handle. I’ve seen it done more with the longer foam rollers in a gallon can but I’m sure it can be done in a quart size with the smaller ones.

Simply Sallie I’ve been making signs for almost 10 years and have ventured into other products as I’m burned out making them. However, I’ve never been a big fan of stenciling, I just use different color vinyls and then seal my signs once complete. I do need to get more into stenciling because I think it would be so much easier for the ones that have a lot of color! Lol

Why do you prefer cutting your stencils and then painting them on your sign vs. printing the letters in vinyl and pressing them on?? Love your channel!

I like the look and quality of paint vs vinyl on signs. Thank you so much!

Just a tip if you haven't figured it out yet - cut your frame boards so that the top and bottom are the longest pieces that way if your sign is set on a table or bookcase it will sit stable because you won't risk the sign wobbling because one of the side pieces extends a hair too far.

Do you do real wood signs, if so, how do you prevent the wood from warping, what kind of wood do you use and how do you store it? Thanks for this video, huge help!
