Paused at just after a minute to say that prepping your colour palette that way is absolute genius and if I ever get the chance to get outside the UK again, I'll be back to take notes!
Morocco to start 2025, that's a dream...their colors and patterns are wonderful 😍 your selection of colours make me think of Morocco, you will have a blast! Take a lot of pictures and sketch if you have the chance for it to show us all 💛 ENJOY Evie 😘
I don't know if it's different for certain airlines, but I've never had my bag weighed. One time coming back from Norway I had bought a book that's about 5kg on it's own, along with several other books and everything I already had in my 10kg luggage. Gotta say, that was the one time I was worried, but I wasn't asked to weigh my case (which I was very happy about!)
I watched this smiling at your enthusiasm for a place I love….but then my Nanny instincts kicked in….I live half my time there & do a LOT of sketching plein air both town & country….now……thats a LOT of kit to physically manage if you’re sketching in the street. You’ve got to think how you can access them…you’d need an awful lot of pockets because unless you’re in a cafe…there’s nowhere to sit or put anything down. Oh & your pens, put those inside 2 ziplock bags if you must take them…the pressure from the altitude in flight can cause leaks. It’s very unpredictable…last month on a flight to Tangier I had 1 of 3 pens leaked. If you’re only going for a short time…I’d take a fine liner & leave fountain pens & markers at home if you are just going with a carry on. Although they look lovely…. I’d leave most of your coloured pencils home too unless you’re using them in your hotel room. Less is more…especially with just a carry on ( & yes I am guilty of agonising for weeks over my palette…but working at that size…you can mix most colours from your basics….). I hope you have a wonderful time in Morocco !
oooh you're sorted, that's lots of variety! have a good trip 🥰
Happy New year! Travel safe and have fun!

I never thought I'd ever see travel art supplies put together based on the baggage allowance of an airline 😂. But 10kgs... Sheesh!
Happy New Year and have a good trip. Did you ever use the Ohuhu sketch books. THEY ARE GREAT. You should order one. Many pages, good quality. Square.
Have fun!
