- Today we take the British rappers to try some Eel! Eel in Korea is famous for being delicious and healthy, but in the UK, the first thing that comes to mind when we say "eel" is jellied eels... So, we took Guvna B and Barney somewhere where we could show how to properly eat all parts of the eel!

I'm really happy that Isaac feels comfortable enough to express his uncertainty around some foods, and everyone is perfectly okay with him not eating if he doesn't want to. This warms my heart because the KE team are so encouraging and also understanding when it comes to trying things outside of someone's comfort zone, and for them to not force or push Isaac to eat the eel liver and stomach is just very lovely to see - you can tell everyone genuinely cares for one another and I think that's what makes every video with Bunva so fun to watch! Thank you so much to the KE team for bringing Buvna out to Korea - this series has been mind-blowing
Yes! Definitely love that nothing is forced - Josh just wants the experience to play out how it's gonna play out. The friendly adventure of it all is what makes it so special to watch!

I like that he still tried it after waiting to see their reactions. I think that's totally acceptable to do with such unfamiliar food! I mean, I LOVE eel and I've never had the liver/stomach before, let alone the bile (LOL!). Even though he was uncertain, he was still willing to give it a shot once his friends had.

yeah I’m half Korean and a picky eater so I spent many a childhood memory there avoiding certain foods. (And still do.) Albeit I don’t believe the cuisine is that extreme for a play it safe palette. Anyway it really warms my heart to see people really open up to things. I appreciate the culture even more through them.
바니 '감사합니다' 말하는 발음이 점점 정교해지는 것 같아요ㅋㅋ 생소한 음식인데도 과감하게 도전하는 모습이 멋지네요. 거브나도 겁내다가 결국 먹는 용기 멋있고, 두분 다 맛있고 재밌게 한국 즐기다 돌아가신 것 같아 제가 다 뿌듯해요~~ 촬영도 촬영인데 친구끼리 놀러간 장면들 남기는 분위기가 느껴져서 너무 보기 좋은 것 같아요!!
레퍼분들이 한국 사장님의 맛깔나게 잘라 주는걸 존중의 의미를 진심을 담아 표현해주는것이 아주 인상 깊네요!!!
I'm really loving the older school KE-man vibes from this trip. Obviously has a gigantic crew involved with the planning and production, but the way the guys interact with each other makes it feel like a small trip out with the fam.
This is a great point. They really have managed to make if feel like super wholesome bro time, in the best way possible. Such a great series that they've pulled off!

I understand that it's hard not to compare the view counts of this series against the previous ones. I hope the view count isn't the single performance indicator for your team. There are many viewers including myself who sincerely appreciated this series ❤
Ditto! I don't understand how RUclips content finances work, but I really hope the team feels rewarded and maintains a stable operation.
I'd imagine they would treat it, at worst, like how they view the korean toast stall they made. Not necessarily for a huge profit, just more of the love of the food/culture and wanting to share it. Which has always been the biggest part. I don't think Josh/Ollie compare for example the British Twins trip to the High Schoolers.
The other way to look at it, if they were that full-scoping their videos, is this is a dual sided investment. Helps get their friends more publicity for their channels/careers too. Even like Guvna opening his YT account in Korea for example and potentially uploading something while there could dramatically change the potential audience that get recommended his videos.
Glad to see that Belgian beer is being appreciated on the other side of the world.

FYI, if you are curious about the taste of eel BBQ, it tastes like fatty chicken. Eel naturally has a lot of saturated fat (way more than salmon) with Vitamins and Zinc.
Very accurate - and Koreans treat their eel with a LOT of love! So so delicious and healthy at the same time...
And one reason to like about it is that it lowers blood pressure too so it’s a popular food amongst elderly as well.
The grilled eel is similar to how unagi and anago kabayaki as well.

It's so dang awesome that Josh is willing to steer his guests (and us) over to a delicious eel situation, when BBQ, KFC and other "safer" foods have mostly been the norm thus far. This channel always manages to keep things fresh and authentic enough 🙂 My partner and I are working on an "eel in Seoul" episode for our channel right now, and I just can't get over how tasty grilled eel can be over here. Koreans truly know how to take any ingredient and bring it to the most heavenly level of flavor and texture 🙏
As an American, my main exposure to eel has been sushi & I'll tell you what, I'm way more weirded out by the jellied eel than the grill!

What I like from Jolly and Korean Englishman is everyone gets to try new food everytime. Not just those on cam but those off cam as well. You can see how Josh and Ollie take care of everyone not just their guests. 💕

Man this series is the best, its also great to see Luke trying all this new food. Man had no fking idea about kimchi a couple years back, now my guy is eating ell soup straight in the Motherland. And he LOVES it, same with Guvna and Barney, make this series last forever!
