All of their scene are freaking phenomenal, the chemistry is beyond the charts. Their intense gaze, the way they breathe each other and look at each other, the way they would touch each other so softly yet making it look like they're touching fire.... is just maddening. The scene where he asked why does she dislike him is my ultimate favorite. The way he spoke those words to her with such a deep captivating voice and breathed in her ears was just out of this world, I literally started screaming and couldn't even breathe for a second... I had to stop watching, go out and breathe some fresh air and collect myself. This season is far better than season 1, it's more enjoyable and dynamic because of these two. I'm gonna re-watch it till I remember every detail of their story.

I couldn’t breathe everytime they’re like an inch away. 🙈😳 My ultimate favorite is when Anthony said, “You are the bane of my existence and the object of all my desires.” 🔥I think I read that in the book also. 🤔 When he said that in that deep voice of his, it took my breath away, literally 😆 They would have a hard time to make a better season I think. 🤔

Believe I was screaming everytime they had a moment. It was beautiful.
Their chemistry is SO beautiful and feels so real. Every single scene they were in together, I had butterflies. The long adoring stares, the whispers, the close breathing, the confessions of hate and love, the jealousy, the soft and gentle touches, the constant yearning for each other…ugh INCREDIBLE. Anthony and Kate are now on my list of favorite TV show/movie couples. They’re so good together.

The emotional growth of Anthony was insane. My fav scene was when he sheds tears, feeling relieved after knowing Kate is fine. That was perhaps, the strongest, most powerful display of love.

I love how truly happy anthony is like in the first season he was always brooding and glaring even with sienna he did not have a genuine smile but in this season with kate he was giddy and smiling and happy kate too
With Sienna is was just lust he clearly fall in love with Kate and his smile seem genuine with her Anthony found his soulmate
With Siena it was lust clearly, but their first or second scene together was vey playful. As was the scene when he asked her to the ball after his sister was a Duchess declaring no one would dare say anything about her on his arm, that inferred he at least cared some about, but was unable/unwilling to marry her because of her status.

This season is indeed pleasing. Will all the drama and tension, everything about Kate and Anthony makes my heart giddy. There chemistry is remarkable. AND I WANT MORE!!

THEIR CHEMISTRY IS EVERYTHING. Her fingers fondling his hair when they kiss. The piercing stares they shoot not only into each other’s eyes but their very souls. This couple of exudes such passion that transcends nudity or sexual activity at every turn. Had me holding my breath whenever they were on my screen. I honestly cannot get enough of them 😭
People saying, "There was no more sex. I want it!" just no. The chemistry was SO SO SO incredible that the moments of sexual tension surpassed any sex scene. The caresses, how Anthony smelled her, when he looked at her leg, the hunting scene, EVERYTHING. I had to pause the scenes every so often because wow, the scenes and tension even I felt it.
It's like that on the book, actually. And people keep comparing it with the sex scenes on S1, but in S1 that was part of the theme, with Daphne coming to the realization of how babies were made 🤭🤭
OMG yes!! That look Anthony makes when he sees her exposed leg makes me so crazy weak! Like he has to physically hold himself back from attacking her probably chanting in his head “I am a gentleman I am a gentleman and she is a lady” over and over😩
If I don’t get major scenes of them for S3, I will be so mad. Y’all gave us bits and scraps of them this season, IT WAS NOT ENOUGH. I live for them.
Agreed. I wanted more scenes of them, I wanted to see their wedding, I wanted more interaction between them, their chemistry was so beautiful and intense. I wanted more of them and less scenes about cringy Lady Featherington and their evil schemes, less scenes about the modiste, less scenes about Edwina and the Sheffields

It took to long to actual get to them. They weren’t the “meat and potatoes “ to me, to many side stories including him courting and almost marrying her sister. Again, their actual happily ever after was rushed just like season 1. I liked that they ended with the game that first pitted them against each other, and the cute PDA with teasing from the family!
I agree. The main arc for this season was the featheringtons.
@@aminmarohomsalic1997 and this season was Kate and Anthony's story. And yet, they were in less than half the screen time. And that's COLLECTIVELY. Counting only scenes where they were together, and it's less than a quarter. The Featheringtons were given more screen time than they were. No reason not to now give them a log of screen time in future seasons.
Their chemistry was fire with kerosene thrown in!! Johnathan Bailey was pure perfection as Anthony, such a supremely talented actor, with Simone matching up nicely. He deserves all the awards for season 2!!

I watched all 8 episodes in one sitting on release day. Started mid afternoon and went until midnight. I did exactly the same thing for season 1. All in one sitting. It’s been out for two days and I have watched most episodes twice. Just brilliant.

Such amazing chemistry between Kate and Anthony. The scene with the bee on Kate's chest was phenomenal. The acting was exceptional. I thought I'd miss Simon's presence in S2, but didn't. Jonathan Bailey has once again proved what a truly fine actor he is.

I love this season more. The love story is beautiful. I don’t find it toxic. Anthony’s confession to Kate had me in tears. This entire season was beautiful. Seeing Anthony as a man with feelings was heart felt.
The thumbnail is everything. Kate and Anthony's yearning slow burn love story is literally the most believable, natural, intense, breathtaking romance I've ever seen in my life, like no one can come close. They both played their characters perfectly, i can not imagine anyone but them playing Kate and Anthony, it's like these characters were made just for them.
Even though it is quite different from Anthony's and Kate's story from the books it was still as trilling and exciting, and although I do wish they had included more of the book, it is still that amazing enemies to lovers story that from the beginning you can sense that they would happily strangle each other to death but also f*ck to exhaustion

I appreciate the tug-of-war in both the book and the movies. The opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference. There is nothing indifferent between these 2 characters.

One of my favourite scenes was the one between Anthony and his mother Violet when he breaks down learning that Kate has awoken and he cant hide his feelings from his mother. The chemistry between Kate and Anthony was fantastic and the slow burn of their love story was exceptionally good.

Their chemistry was on another level. I appreciated the long await. It was well deserved. They gave us so much to look forward too in their intense stares, gazes, hand touches and their competitiveness. It was a different form of romance, all deserving of it attention. Anthony finally met his match in Kate indeed. I so enjoyed this season more than the last and cannot wait to see the other Bridgerton siblings stories.... Bravo, to a fantastic season.
This season was amazing!! It was something about the slow burn, their chemistry, their arguments, the hate-love dynamic. I LOVED ITTT😫. I rlly thought Simons absence would impact the season but i wasn’t thinking about him at all! This was so good. Even the lack of sex scenes, their intimacy and chemistry filled in for that! 10/10!!
Gosh I was so worried about how they would surpass last season but holy cow they did. The chemistry can be felt through the screen. I LOVED the tension and their characters, especially getting to see behind Anthony’s coldness.

These two just complemented each other so well. I just love Anthony being straight forward about his feelings every moment they had together. I feel Kate just had that something to get him to open up, relax and truly express himself then be closed off and all about his duties, and Kate in the same helping her to see she to can express herself and love and be open as well.

Unbelievable chemistry
the way they made me binge the entire series until 6 am this morning…. they’re so insane for that…. i’m so obsessed with them. every pining gaze… every grazing touch UGH they are perfection.
Some have criticized this second season because there is less sex than the previous one. True, but there is a sexual tension from the first to the last scene which however is a thousand times better than the sex scenes. The crazy chemistry between Anthony and Kate, how they look at each other, how they breathe, touch each other, is something shocking. When they kiss, they seem to want to eat each other. Their few sex scenes are breathtaking.
OMG! I don't know how Shonda does it but they make you believe these people are really couples. I love Anthony and Kate my goodness the way they look at each other and when he smells her as she walks by him...Wow!!!! Not to mention the things he said he could teach her. Well done Shondaland.
ROFL Shonda had nothing to do with it. That was all Jonny and Simone. In fact, the season would have been 1000 times better had Shonda not been involved, since she's the reason so much of Kathony was cut to make time for more Featheringtons.

@@nettakeys6193 read enough interviews and it becomes clear what happened. Jonny is always mentioning things that got cut. Shonda flat-out said that the Featheringtons were her favorite characters. And, oh look! The Featheringtons got more screen time than the leads! Not hard to deduce why. Add in CVD saying that the success of season 1 making it difficult for him to tell this story the way he wanted to, and the whole thing with them announcing this was his last season partway through, and it becomes pretty clear what happened.

@@lightuponlight6727 Jonathan WROTE the assignment. Almost literally. If you read enough interviews, you realize that most of the best scenes were ideas he pitched.
The most unbelievable prowess of an actor is once we stop watching Bridgerton, we realize that "Anthony" is gay irl. The fact that he can play a straight guy and illicit such delicious butterflies in the hearts of his audience is indeed something to note. I anticipated his growth and how he would step up as the ML in this season...I was not disappointed. I was elated. Now I will be watching S2 again and again til S3 comes and I wanna know whether it is Colin or Benedict I have to keep an eye on!
From many interviews of actors they should be able to become the character they playing once the camera rolling, so I am sure when they became kathony they felt all the same emotion as the characters did but once it's "cut" they went back to themselves
HONESTLY even tho I was UPSET that they didn't follow the book, their chemistry was SO GOOD! Such a shame that they didn't use the book plot, it would've made it the steam much hotter. Their love story after their MARRIAGE was the BEST. Hoping they put it in season 3 in a way altho it seems like they're done with their story. If you loved the series, you might love the book, what comforts me is that it's CANON.

There chemistry IS SO AMAZING there is no DENYING THAT but I did kind of wished they went a bit along with the book like how edwina was supposed to be happy for Kate and Anthony being married and Kate jumping to Anthony’s lap to thank him for giving edwina a dowry or how they had the most deepest, intimate, very vulnerable connecting interaction in the library that grew that feeling for them, I mean it was there but it wasn’t longer, that scene was supposed to launch the relationship but it wasn’t there

Anthony and Kate is my favorite couple of the book series. In fact I stopped reading after the fourth book because nothing could compare to them. So I started watching S2 with a little scepitism b/c I didn't like the actor as Anthony in S1. But he proved me SO wrong! He is really captivating and Kate is breathtakingly beautiful. My only complain is that they didn't stick so much to the book. We could see so much more of them if they did. And their chemistry was really on fire!
Books 6-8 were also really good. Francesca and Michael were a close second for me, couple wise.
As for sticking to the book giving Kathony more screen time, don't be so sure of that. It wasn't the change in plot that cut their screen time down. It was Shonda being in love with the Featheringtons and using Portia as a self-insert character. The Featheringtons were alway going to have more screen time than anyone else because of that. The amount of Kathony that ended up on the cutting room floor to make room for Featheringtons is probably staggering. Jonny has been talk8ng about scenes that were cut, and it's insane.

I LOVED the series!! but I think one more episode would be perfect, like: leaving the scene where they declare for this last episode, and showing the preparations for their wedding, in Aubrey hall, a scenes of them on the stool talking about anthony's father, and how he had this idea of not outliving him, and kate talking about her mother's situation and fear of rain, the anthony seducing scene where he asks kate what time her mom will be back with Newton, it would be amazing lol, and then the final scene of their series in bed and then getting together with the family, for me it would be the
perfect ending!
It was such a tease each time they got close and almost kissed! I actually think I fell in love in the process 🥰😂

I liked Season 2 better than season 1.
I thought season 2 had a real story with the main character.
One of my friends who works in the field of psychology was discussing just last week how not going through the grief process when a love one dies can change a person's personality.
And was surprised to see that was the story line with Anthony.
This is exactly why I've enjoyed this season a lot more. Anthony's storyline was just more raw and real and I feel knowing what happened with Edmund also gave a lot more depth to the entire family too.

The multicultural Bridgeton series is for the hopeless romantic no matter who you are Never seen a movie that display true love at such a hughbuntensity.I will find love like this one day. Shoulda and writers truly understand the concept of love. Knowing that love is never easy but so simple it seems unfair. I can't think of a better saying than, you can't buy love there's always a price to pay when maintaining such a gift
