A very nice pen. My father chose the black and gold CF as his first fountain pen, buying it spending his first salary, many years ago. The pen is in my collection now.

The Waterman CF’s where not great sellers in the UK, they continued UK production they moved as you say to Paris. The stories I could tell you even 10 years after the change!! A nightmare for us all back in the 80s. Anytime CF range was mention, we’d freeze!! Thanks for a frighting reminder! It’s like you’ve jumped out from behind a curtain on me! 😆

I have a gold plated set however, I cannot find a cf converter anywhere.
Do you know anywhere to find one?

They are rather difficult to find just keep searching on line or get a used ink cartidge for this model and refill it when needed. Good luck
