Great pen I have two pcs. one with 18k nib and one with 14k nib. The numbers on it are the individual number of the pen and every pen have unique number.
@@ThePenCollectorBogdan the ones with 18k for sure were not as easy to purchase/get as the ones with 14k nibs. The one that I have with 18k nib and at least 3 more that I know the owners here in Serbia and Slovenia were previously owned by high ranking military officers and diplomats of former Yugoslavia...so you can say that they were sort of special fountain pens, not for everyone to purchase...at least in our part of the world....
@@ThePenCollectorBogdan i always try to get some info about my pens...it is for sure not possible for at least 8 out of 10 fountain pens but for the ones that I know something about thei history, I am 100% certain about it. For my Waterman 18K nib C/F i know for a fact who was the owner, how and when did he get it and what important document in history was signed with it... That is,this knowlegde about some of my fountain pens history, for me at least something special....
Hello, I want two Mont Blanc Meisterstuck sterling silver ball pens but I not can screw there for to change the Real. I try but it not screw. How can screw both ball pens? I screw to left way, naturally. Thanks for help me. May be a little of oil, screw is very hard; do not screw. Antonio, from Alicante, Spain.
Protopens (formerly Uber Pens) sells NOS Waterman CF cartridges and converters. I'm excited to receive mine (a 1950s model made in the US) but the virus forced our post office to limit deliveries so I've been waiting for 2 months already
That is a beautiful pen and I'd love to have one. If you have a converter you can just dip it into the ink to fill and then insert it into the pen if you are worried about putting the nib into the bottle.
Hello, my C/F rubber sac converter is not well. The rubber of the converter is dry and converter do not work for inked it. Sustitude this rubber sac by an other new. Thanks for reading this note. Antonio, Frómista Alicante, Spain.
Hello! I am very interested in this pen but have been advised not to buy one because of the cartridge issue. But if the MB cartidges fit it is worth a try.
I have the Moire! It belonged to my grandma. I really don't understand how to refill it with ink to see if it works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If it has the cartridge, you can fill it with a syringe. If it has a converter, you use it by dipping the tip of the pen in the ink bottle, and then aspirate it through the converter. I hope everything will work fine! Enjoy the beautiful pen, and I wish you a good day!
I hace a Waterman C F Chrome moire and it's impossible todo finde cartidges for this model. This model has made when Waterman property has by JIF. Rubber from the sac converter is in bad condition and don't work. It write very well, it have a médium tip nib. Antonio, from Alicante, Spain.

Wow! Nice to know that all of them had a unique number. I think that the ones with the 18K gold nib were made for the French market.

@@aleksandarpetrovic8698 it is a fascinating thing that you know the history of your special fountain pens. Who knows the stories they could tell us?

I hope you will find a compatible cartridge. If you can see if you can test it's compatibility before you buy it.

I have just purchased one of these so this review will be particularly useful. And it comes with a converter and 18 K nib.
beautyful pen, now if it would do what it's designed for that would be just awesome
Yes! You are right! I was thinking the same when I tried to write with it for the first time.

Hello! I think it works also with ink cartridges. I've read that the Platinium cartridges might be compatible.

Waterman C/F have a special converter with a rubber sac. Also van to use cartridges that do not to buy now.
You are right!
Mont Blanc cartridges fit in the Waterman C/F as well. Nice tight fit. They hold half of what the original Waterman cartridges hold, however.
Good to know!
Thank you!

i do have one pen but how can i check if it's fake or no ?
To my knowledge this model (Waterman C/F) was not counterfeited. I think you have an original model.
