Agreed on the practice with level three Safariland holster. I’ve ran level 3 for 6 years and never had issue getting the gun out quickly. PRACTICE. Will be getting a modded holster for my XC! Cheers! 🍻
@rdrgear I had the opportunity to speak with Jeff in regard to a duty holster for a Sig P226 X-Five. Jeff is extremely knowledgeable and professional. If you ever have any questions regarding gears please hit them up!
I like my holster for the XC I got, it works well for me. I will take the hood off. I have run my duty guns without a hood for years. Not because it’s slow but because I don’t find it a needed feature. I have rolled a lot with people and never had an issue, although it’s usually over pretty quick.
Negative. The position of the rds cut on the Stacatto pistols is too far forward. The SRO bigger window, being a benefit is hype. If you are shooting target focused. You will get the same performance from any red dot sight. If the SRO is your ride or die. Lots of companies like QVO Tactical make great Kydex options.
Under the safariland tab. Then the modified holsters section. You can also email me with a contact number and I can get back to you info@rdrholsters.com
Quit running level 3’s when we had multiple people in DT have pistols stuck in holster due S getting bent backwards and warped into the holster. So after fighting, could not get the firearm out.
In all my years working with the safariland products and the number of agencies who require It. This is the first i have heard of this. What was the sample size of the failure. Your statement makes it sound like it was a repeatable issue. Or an isolated Incident. What exactly got bent?
@@rdrgear the hood bends and will bend backwards to a point. I’m assuming the hood mechanism hasn’t changed. This was 5 years ago. Because most agencies don’t train as hard as this one when it comes to DT. I’ll email you the agency and you can contact their training department.
@@rdrgear negative I’m retired. I’m not comfortable sharing on social media. Plus it’s an internal thing. I assure you the aluminum hood can and does bend when fighting a determined person fighting for a gun. When you witness it, it makes you think. I’m not recommending nobody run hoods. More likely than not, you would not have the issue. This was DT fighting over the gun instead of trying to escape. Not trying to one up anyone, just an experience we had.
The dude's fly is down because you HAVE to give your boner a runway when you're handling a Staccato XC. It's page 2 in their user guide.

Have y’all been able to make an aiwb holster for the staccato p limited ice comp?
Level 3 duty holster now available
We need a 43x/48 MOS RDS ALS holster from Safariland.
If they are smart. They will make a g48 tlr7a-sub holster to fit both pistols.
@@rdrgear Yes, definitely light bearing.
Great video. Your fly is down though lol
Yeah my editor dropped the ball on this one. He was supposed to zoom in and edit these out.
How do I order the modified holster

Just order a C2 Duo with a Dawson Comp. Any idea if this holster would work with that weapon config?
Would you recommend this modified holster for an LEO?
Hi in the web sight it shows right hand only for the XC. Why not offer a left handed version ?
can you guys offer this with the sro modification as well?? ive been wanting this setup but i like my sro on the xc.

Has anyone installed a Nub mod on these modified holsters? Wondering if I should get the Nub for the M&P or the 1911/2011 Nub
Would this modified xc holster accomodate an aimpoint acro? Maybe if you remove the hood?
Yes as long as you get the 6390rss not the 6360rds which is the level 3. The SLS bail has a bit of hard time clearing the ACRO
Where do I find this on your web sight

Hey Jeff 👋
Will the M&P still work after modifications?
No
Great content. (Whispering). It appears the store was open during this video (pun intended).
Dammit, I kept going back and forth with wether or not I should just try-shoot it. Lol oh well hopefully it will
Make for some good laughs
@@rdrgear Hahahaha....good times. Life....you sometimes just gotta laugh and have fun. Good stuff none the less.
Can you use a nub mod with this holster?
Can you guys mod a holster for a P with a threaded barrel?
No. You would just use the Stacatto p holster and pull the muzzle plug. It’s really the only option
Subbed.
🤦♂️Did you purposely leave your fly open to screw with us??😖

@@BradMillsOK unlikely, IMO it’s also not aluminum. If this was a data driven issue. Not an isolated it would be a more widely addressed issue.
Us duty gear makes staccato xc duty holsters. Waaaaay better than safariland holsters.
Can you make and alien gear rapid for a 2011
Not that I can't. I just don't have the time to dedicate to the R&D of a one off holster. At this time
