Chris Payne it is i only played through the first tomb raider but the tomb raiders games seem legit. I could see that game a more as a puzzle game than this one. But surprised there are more puzzle than i expected. It even took me a while to understand the map. The hitchmen are way over powered especially when your fighting multiple with only a lightsaber.
The "Hints" in this game did literally nothing to help solve this puzzle.

I made it with one of the fireballs up one floor. I didn't come up with the idea of using this solution here, but I suspected that the developers didn't want it as I did. Now i'm not feeling dumb, i'm feeling like i genius when i see the "correct" solution xD

The most frustrating part of this is it’s exactly what I thought you had to do! It’s just I’ve got an issue with sending it straight from pull to push as he always turns his back on it and sends it the opposite way!

It happened to me as well, so I realized that you must focus the Target and push without stop pulling (at the same time). Sorry for my english.. 👍🏽

thats just bad puzzle design to me. It's trying to do uncharted/tomb raider, but those 2 games have very logical puzzles clearly visible. Also the "hints" ingame are crap.

Yeah there's a lot of things that this game does not make clear in how it presents its puzzles and also some non-secret passages. It should be obvious what a mechanism is and the difficulty should be in figuring out how to use the puzzle mechanisms, not in identifying them.

@@ricklmiv wtf was that even supposed to mean? I ended up throwing the sphere, slowing it mid air, dropping to the platform and pulling it back before throwing it to the vines. Completely forgot about the magnet current, but it worked anyways
I beat this game back when it originally came out and I’m playing through it again in 2022 and I’m stuck on this part. I looked up this puzzle only to find that I watched this video before…. Two years ago when I originally played the game 🙃

@@christiansantamaria7233 I would'nt call it bad game design there is many examples in this temple where it directly shows you how the gravity pull effect can move the fire lanterns but I get it for some people this puzzle was difficult.

My main issue here was that the hints say "how do we stop the lanterns from being put out" they have a shell protecting them" making me think if you angled the casing right the water wouldn't hit the fire
@Dark wolf - I was thinking the exact same as you, and kept trying to make sure I had the candles upright while throwing it through the water. The game designers really misled us with that unhelpful "hint".

@William Mcpherson The Problem are not the puzzles themselfes... its the lack of any useful real hints in easy mode where you would expect a decent help. They should have made it like in Shadow of the TR.

Am confused why people did? Because what kind of game dev make you do a puzzle that require something from across a huge level that you need. Especailly for a game that is not meant to be super hard. If people use a little logic and map awareness this puzzle should of not been that hard. But I understand reading through these comments the hint was very misleading. For me the prompt for hint never came up and not would of taken it anyways don’t want the game to beat if for me.

I wish you had started on the top of the tomb instead of the bottom because I've already done this but missed the pull power and need to figure out how to get it so needed a walkthrough on how to get back to the lower levels. I'm just running around in circles at this point.

I was doing a replay of the game and forgot the puzzle. I actually cheesed it by throwing it across the room for slowing it jumping down and then force pulling it again. I watch this video just to see the correct way to do it and wow.

Same this was the first one I had to look up :( the worst part is I did what's on the video but i didn't cross the ball to the other side I was trying to throw it at the flammable vines from the side where all the balls are.
I literally deleted the game because of this part and I just redownloaded and looked up how to do it and it literally only took 15 seconds smh

@@ba8909 they're not rare at all. every other level there is a ridiculously over complicated puzzle. and the map design is horrible and whoever thought the game should even be set up that way should be fired. it should play the force unleashed. pick a stage game, or an open world. not a shit ass half ass in between.

You know what I was actually annoyed at myself at first for having to look up what to do at this stage, but now I've seen how it's actually done, I would not have thought in a million years to pick up a lamp, stick it to a wall, so that I can pick it up again and throw it at a random chain, so I think I can forgive myself for not figuring this one out.

I know right, I found a candle from elsewhere and carried it back to to opening those gravity waves come out of and push it at the vines from there.
I'm going to learn a new language so that I have more swears for this puzzle.

The problem with the puzzles in this game isn't that the puzzles are complex or anything; they aren't. The problem is that the puzzles only make sense if you already know what you're allowed to do beforehand. They throw in new mechanics all the time with no exposition, no demonstration, no hints, nothing. They just slip them in and hope you notice the new little light-fixture thing and figure out its part of a puzzle.

So what happened to me is I knew I has to break the chain with a torch thing, but I kept looking at the chain from up high. To me it looked like the chain was covered in water. I thought the water was actually dripping down from the same hole the chain goes through so I thought it was surrounded by water. couldn’t tell it was actually a wall of water that was just next to it. Eh oh well.
This took me way too long to figure out. Thank you.😅
