Best Way to Peel Garlic | Most efficient / easiest method to peel garlic

So what is the best way to peel garlic anyways? Those of you who follow my recipes and blog- know that I use a lot of garlic in my recipes. So these are my preferred methods and they work really well!
Different varieties of garlic. How to peel the Indian Garlic, smaller bulbs, tighter , smaller cloves.. these are the most difficult to peel.
But with these simple methods, even this garlic can be peeled easily and effectively.

I soaked the garlic in cold water overnight & the skin slides off easily.I wonder if it will take away any flavor.

Softened garlic will loose some of its properties and aroma when they need to be added, yes, in most cases with exceptions.
