  • The time has come to replace the tires in my Porsche GT3 RS, so today I'm bringing you with me to the garage to see how this is done and show you the installation, checking the brakes and the alignment!
The current cup 2 tires were installed in August 2020 and have about ?????? miles on them (how many mile do you think I managed to do on these tires? Find out in the video), this is actually very good milage for the cup 2 tires.
There are roughly 7 tires available for the RS:
    Most common are:
    - Michelin Pilot Sport 4S: $1900
    - Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2: $2141
    - Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Track Connect: $2003
    - Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R (track focused): $3282
    - Pirelli P Zero:$1546
    - Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R (track focused): $2724
    - Dunlop Sport Maxx Race 2: $2386
The stats for my wheels are:
    Tire sizes:
    265/35/20 in front.
    325/30/21 in the rear
    Front wheel = 20” x 9.5”
    Rear wheel = 21” x12.5

Thanks for this video which helped me learn more about ceramic brake wear and measurement and center mount wheels. Curious at 9:36 of the video the orange tool for bead installation on the Hunter mounting equipment contacted your wheel, probably at the green stripe, made a noise. Did your wheel get scratched? Hope not. Did this only happen on one wheel or all four? Did the technician say what went wrong?

Thanks for asking. I saw that too. Good news is it touches with such a light force that it did no damage; looked worse than it was.
