- Fluid art inspirational video. Sometimes, when you get a harebrained idea as an artist… You just have to try it! This did not turn out how I was expecting, which is often the case, but often times, how new and interesting things revealed themselves! With the dark canvas underneath, it really made for an interesting look. I'm excited to see how these paintings look after they are present. Let me know what you think! Do you have any ideas on how this might work better?

What can I say in front of so much talent, know-how, mastery of materials, pfffff, you don't want to come and organize a workshop in my little village in the southwest, I'm even ready to swim across the Atlantic to learn.😂 I never tire of watching your videos, if I can't reproduce what you do, I think I'll end up buying a canvas from you 🤔 in the meantime I'll keep watching your creations, what am I saying, your masterpieces! !!!.
Erik, what an amazing thing to say, thank you for your encouragement, kind words and enthusiasm! Keeps me wanting to paint 💕✌️
Sara Sara Sara!! I think your texture pieces are the next design that should keep us all busy for months! I love your style, and both of these examples with the Pebeo Moon products were beautiful. It took me a couple attempts but I got there! Thank you so much for your explanations and here's one thing that I noticed helped me with the base...With the 7300 Satin Enamel pillow - I added Aussie Floetrol to smooth it out. It "flowed" better for me and didn't blotch at all after drying. Otherwise - I followed your recipe with the GAC 800 and water. So much fun - You're a great artist!!
What an interesting idea with the Australian Floetrol. I’m definitely curious how to get it to and more transparent. More tests and experiments ahead of us!😁
You are so creative Sara!! Beautiful pieces and so inspiring! Amazing effect and details in here! xxx
Oh thank you 🙏
This is sooo elegant and inspiring! I especially enjoy those that give you the time to explain the “how and why” behind the techniques you bring into your work.
Thank you so much!
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, SARA !
I’m happy you liked it 🙏💕
❤magnifiques couleurs et beau mouvement ! J aime vraiment beaucoup Merci 😊
I could watch you create all day long Sara. Everything you create is so wonderful. These two are beautiful!!!!!

Very cool. Translucent on Black Bloom. Gotta try this!
Yes!!
Wow! Simply fabulous!!
Thank you so much!
Absolutely beautiful 🎉
Thank you! 😊
Absolutely gorgeous ❤ love❤ love❤
Thank you so much!!
I just love how the Pebeo or specifically solvent based paints, leave a beautiful texture to the painting. It would be great if someone could come up with an adequate pillow that dries clear. But these two pieces are beautiful, Sara, as is all your art.
Thank you for your comments. It too. I’m curious how to get such a thick pillow of paint to dry more clear. I’ve got some ideas… Hopefully I can iron it out.😊
As usual Sara your work is absolutely stunning but this one is once again awesome I love it to bits
Please do more !!
I'd like to see a very neutral pallet. I have beige, tan, brown, gray decor. Some navy and black.
It dried so much different than it looked wet. I’ll have to try your tutorial to see😊
Very striking! You always have the most interesting color palettes! I love the white CA over just the translucent pillow. Gorgeous effect! And I gotta get me some of the Pebeo moon!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you liked it 🙏💕
Gorgeous! 👍
Thank you! 😊
Thank you for sharing 🎨🎨 😊
My pleasure 😊

I’m so happy you’re going to be there! I look forward to meeting you too.🙏
Hi very beautiful thx ❤
Thank you so much. For sharing.❤
It's my pleasure
Such a gorgeous color palette, as always! I just got in a bunch of the Moon Fantasy’s in a bunch of colors and can’t wait to play with them! I use the Mix Pour for my transparent base so, I wonder how it’d work with the bloom paints?…. Hmmm, may have to have a play day. Haha! Can’t wait to see you in Asheville!! 🤗💕
I’m curious too! Let me know how it goes. I look forward to meeting you too! I feel like we kind of know each other…😁
@@SaraTaylor I sure will! Haha, I feel like that as well! A friendship that’s just meant to be! 🤗
Wow, what a great idea. I just love them especially the way the white cell activator shows up way cool
Thanks so much 😊
Really interesting results, Sara! It totally works with your color pallet and composition. I love the bubbly moon! As usual, beautiful art, Sara!😊✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

Absolutely breathtaking. I love the addition of the texture. Those colors are exquisite ❤
Thank you! I’m really glad you like it.🙏
Both paintings are beautiful! I love the effects of pebeo -super cool texture! 💕
Thanks so much 😊
Wow. Loving the texture
Ein wunderbares Bild Sarah!💛🧡💚
❤I love how it dried. So pretty Sara.
Thank you! 🤗
Love this ❤
It looked like you were playing around with cake icing and having so much fun. I love watching you paint. Such a gifted artist. I hope you consider coming to Southern California someday. I would love to learn in person from you.
Totally, great analogy! Thank you for your comment.❤️
Maravilhoso... que tintas você usou aí?
Amazing technique! That Magenta really pops. Would starting out on a black gesso canvas work? Mahalo for sharing Sara ❤
Absolutely! Any dark surface I think is better for this concept. I want to work on how to get more transparency out of that pillow!
Beautiful the Pebeo moon didn’t work like that for me
What happened?
Just didn’t do anything just stayed in a line
Definitely The Phoenix Rising Sara. 🔥 Are these for sale Sara? I’d love the 2nd one. I’ll check out your website now. ❤🌻🌻🌻
Edit, sadly it’s sold, they’re both beautiful though Sara. X
Oh, I’m so sorry, the second one did sell. First one is still available :-)
At what stage do you add your Pebeo. I have a ton of it but have never used it. Do you think it could be used in a Pearl pour? Thinned down with?
Stunning work Sara, may I ask - Is the Prism Moon applied straight from its container or mixed with anything?
That’s a great question! I applied it straight from the bottle, sometimes it does thicken up a bit as it sits in a half full bottle… I will then send it down with oil-based minerals spirit.
Which wood conditioner do you use for cell activation.. and what portions?? Please I’m just at a block on creating beautiful cells 🙏🙏🙏
Here’s my preferred recipes. If you don’t have Australian flow trial, you can use American flow trial with a few drops of water-based polyurethane wood conditioner.
Pillow:
1 part Behr 7300 deep bass enamel
1 part white acrylic (Blick student or Artist Loft work great)
.25 Part GAC800
.25 Part water to warm honey consistency
OR
4 part PPG Multi pro eggshell ceiling paint
1 part GAC800
Water it down a bit.
Paint PM:
2 part Behr 7300 deep base enamel
1 part varathane triple thick polyurethane
1 part Josagnio gloss varnish
(this is the pouring medium that I mix with my pants or my pigments. When using pigments, I wet the pigment first with the Josagno gloss varnish.
Cell activator:
1 part titanium white or black oxide Amsterdam paint
OR
1 Part High Viscosity Tri-Art paint (any color)
3 part Australian floetrol
Textured bloom:
Pebeo moon hammered effect
Use water-based mineral spirit to thin if too thick.
So Sara, the texture in the second piece comes from the chemical reaction of the paints, is that so? Beautiful blend of colours by the way.
It’s a good question, they actually both have the same textural effect. I’m using all acrylic paints, and then, in addition to that a solvent based paint that dries at a different rate giving the texture. The solvent paint is called prism moon, made by Pebeo
Thank you for your prompt reply, insightful as always
What is the solvent paint for texture that you used?
It’s a solvent base paint called prism moon, made by Pebeo
