Here is one: Qrow is actually Ruby's biological father, not Taiyang. My reasons: So far all the characters whose father we saw, inherited some traits from their dad. Ren has his dad's black/double colored hair, Yang has her dad's hair color and the combination of her dad's and mom's eye color, Weiss has her dad's features very obviously, Blake's parents are very similar so it's hard to say there, but her face is more of her dad's than her mom's. Ruby is kind of the odd one out. She looks almost exactly like her mom, but what makes me suspicious is this. So we know Qrow is kind of a ladies' man, yet both girls in their team went for Tai... (Well sure Raven is Qrow's sister, but you get my point). Also don't forget that Ruby is just 2 years younger than Yang. Which mean in 1 year, Tai broke up with Raven, got over their lost relationship, got comfortable with raising Yang alone, courted Summer and made a baby with her. All that in 1 year! (Since you know there is the 9 months gestation and all that). I find that highly unlikely. Also look how much Tai talks about Raven, but he never once talked about Summer. The only one who talks about summer to Ruby is Qrow. Not to mention Qrow is obviously more attached to Ruby than Yang. So here is what i think. Ruby is actually Qrow's daughter, but because Qrow is a bringer of bad luck and because his sister ran off to become a bandit and his obligations to Ozpin, he couldn't stay with Summer and Tai, so Summer stayed with Tai and they raised the kids together. As a proof, remember that Qrow is not on good terms with Tai for some reason to the point where Qrow asks Tai to leave the room when he tells Ruby about the silver eyes, something Tai should already know about his own wife, yet he appears to be clueless about it. A few more things: Tai is a close combat fighter, Yang is a close combat fighter. Qrow is a scythe wielder, Ruby is also a Scythe wielder. Qrow has a special power of turning into a crow to move fast, Ruby has the special power of turning into rose petals to move fast. Ruby is wearing a long cape like her mom, but it's red like Qrow's. Tai is wearing bandana tied to his arm and Yang is also wearing one constantly on her leg in her battle clothes. On the other hand Qrow is wearing a silver cross as a necklace and remember what held Ruby's cape in place on her original clothes? Silver crosses.
Summer and Tai could believably have conceived Ruby after a while of her helping raise Yang, Ruby is wearing a cloak like Summers that goes with her name, weapons mean little since many people have similar weapons, just because we never see Tai mention Summer doesn't mean he didn't, Tai could easily have been annoyed that Qrow sent him out when telling Ruby about her power that he knew would make her want to go out to fight after being out cold for days and just because Qrow seems closer to Ruby than to Yang doesn't mean he's her father since it can come from a mentor/apprentice relationship
Sure, I'm not claiming I am totally right about this, I just think Ruby has much more Qrow like features and she is basically nothing like Tai, but that could come from Summer too for all we know. Sure it has as much against it as for it, but hey, you never know, it's possible.
If they wanted a reveal like that then they wouldn't say it wasn't true just to turn around and say they lied, besides what people say point to it have little weight since her personality is closer to Tai, she looks exactly like Summer and for all we know Summer used a similar weapon to Ruby
DarkPlague Salem: She's a Faunus! He's a Faunus! YOURE a Faunus! IM A FAUNUS! Are their any more Faunus I need to know about?! Cinder with cat ears: Me-ow. Salem: ...I'm out of here.
I thought they were supposed to be a minority, which is odd because they could continue the species by breeding with either human or faunus while humans have to breed with humans.
Every RWBY character is based off of myths, sometimes gender-bent (like how Jaune Arc is the gender-bent version of Joan of Arc). IIRC, Nora is the gender-bent version of Thor.
+Hudson Ball Monty planned on at least 9 volumes but each season is 3 volumes long. For example, V1-3 was the setup and intro of everything. Meaning, 9 volumes = 3 seasons. Volume 4 is basically the first arc of season 2 just like how Volume 3 was the final arc of season 1.
+Hudson Ball Oh damn you're right! He said in an interview that he has plans for 7-10 *seasons*, meaning we're getting more volumes than expected :) I always thought 9 volumes wouldn't be enough..
Blunt weapons are primarily mêlée weaponsdesigned to use blunt trauma to inflict damage on their targets. Most are club-like, and rely on the user's strength and the mass of the weapon to create blunt force.
@@RandomPerson-xf9yn (SPOILER FOR V6) The Grimm were shown to be around long before the tale of Salem and Oz, however she does throw herself into a Grimm spawning pool in an attempt to kill herself, and then emerges in a manor VERY stylistically similar to how the beowulf was shown to emerge when we first saw her palace. Also, she was very much physically altered Question I have: Is it just cause she couldn't die? Would that happen to a normal person???
@@andrewweir4445 I suspect so. I think if a normal person fell into that stuff theyd either die a painful death or be corrupted, like big time corruption. Im talking about like, probably them not knowing anyone or remembering any of the good parts of life.
Ruby has speed and the wolf from little red riding hood took the short cut what does short cuts do makes you get to the other side FASTer REFERENCE CUMFORMED!!!
Well the wolf took the short cut and short cut makes you travel in same speed but in a less time and speed is similar to a short cut okay not the same but they both make you travel in a shorter time

well it wouldnt be her since we know that she showed up at rens village at a young age. but maybe she grew up in mafia circles. e.g. her dad beeing a mob boss and her mom one of his ladys. after her mom saw what he had in mind for nora she brought her far away to a peacfull village and left her there to protect her ^^
"having no parents" =|= "our parents died" she got abandoned as a kid. of course she considers herself to not have parents. or alternatively her dad got killed by another gang or infighting and her wounded mother fled with her...
ThePoketroller I like the theory that she merely a spirit controlling a doll. If she breaks, she'll take a new doll. She's probably one of the two creators of mankind. Either way, I wager that she has no reproductive organs despite being the mother of all grim.
edi Tadatsuru was a character from Monogatari, who was basically a reanimated doll... but don’t tell anyone, spoilers lol But I love how you were easily right about the ‘other brother’ part. I’d be interested to see who you think the other one is... although kinda obvious at this point.
I mean, it's been an idea since Volume 2 or so (maybe earlier) that the oldest or most powerful Grimm would resemble a human, because of the whole 'humans are the real monsters' cliche.
I definitely like the Salem one. If she is a Grimm, likely one of the first, it would explain her motivation to destroy mankind. The brother of darkness made grimm to destroy all light, but ended up making mankind and just ditching the earth. Yet now grimm only attack humans exclusively. Why? Because Salem was one of the first grimm, and, feeling betrayed by her creator, she redirected the grimm's purpose to destroy her creator's 'masterpiece'. I like this theory. It holds water.
Given that we now know that Oscar's last name is "Pine", and he's very likely going to get involved in what RNJR is doing, Oscar can be the P for team JNPR 2.0. There's no need for Penny to be the one to fill that slot. Wouldn't be the first time, nor the last, when someone's last name was used for a team name (Exhibit A, Ren and JNPR (since his first name is actually Lie, unlike what we all thought). Exhibit B, Sky Lark and CRDL). Plus, Penny would not have been able to advance in the Vytal Tournament if she wasn't part of a team of 4 for the qualifying round, meaning that Ciel wasn't her only teammate, just the only one we saw. There are still two more at Atlas (just like how we don't know the other 2 members of team FNKI). Other than that, I just find it painful that these are theories people legitimately have (especially the ones about Ruby and Yang being Faunus). I know you prefaced it by saying these were crack theories, but still. Just cringe-worthy. Besides, if anyone would have ties to organized crime, it would be Yang. How else would she know about the seedier side of Vale and people like Junior? And how do you think she paid for her motorcycle? By doing freelance work while she was a student at Signal. Seriously, no teenager that is in a lower level Huntsman Academy like Signal could possibly afford a motorcycle unless they had a side gig to earn some money, and a pretty sizable amount at that.
They live on a tiny island. Why would Taiyang buy Yang a motorcycle when she can walk to where she needs to go, or use public transportation within the city of Vale? As much as Taiyang loves his daughters, I don't think he would just spend money carelessly on something like a motorcycle when there isn't a need for it (assuming he does in fact have that kind of money untethered). The only reason my parents bought me a car when I was a teenager was because they needed a third driver to help shuttle my sisters and I to where we needed to be. It was out of necessity, not because I wanted a car. Yang got a bike because she wanted it, and because she wanted it, rather than needed it, Taiyang would have likely told Yang to get a job and save up for it, like any parent would, in order to teach the value of hard work and earning money for the things you want.
Okay. Name one other character in this entire show who has a "regal af steed" or any other personal mode of transportation (meaning those that aren't likely government/military property). Here's a hint: there are none. Everyone walks.
I feel like ruby should want to kill cinder more than cinder wants to kill her, you lost a eye but you killed Ruby’s friend I feel like ruby has more of a right to want revenge
Yes, but you have to remember that Cinder could have died a very very painful death by the hands of Salem because of her failure. Ruby put Cinder into a dangerous situation.
spoiler alert: in volume 5 or whichever volume it was one thing that made me so freaking pissed was when bEfORe ruby's silver eyes literally damaged like one-third of cinder's body but in the final battle when cinder was going after the relic ruby's silver eyes did literally NOTHING and yeah contradict me that cinder DID take damage but EXCUSE ME U LOST A FREAKING ARM AND EYE ETC AND UR STILL STANDING somebody take a gun and send a bullet through my head RIGHT NOW ps: yeah this has nothing to do with revenge whatsoever but i feel like this was technically the closest cinder and ruby came to a face-to-face battle
I kinda did think of something similar with Salem, but more like her being the mother of all Grimm. You know, like in Aliens and shit. But oh well, we'll have to wait and see what the next season throws at the fans.
Well, we don't even know how those monster reproduce. Maybe there's no male and female on those terms with them. Maybe they reproduce asexually. Maybe it's just fucking magic and it doesn't make sense.
In fact we have seen them produced in two ways (or just the one way). Pools of black goo. The Dragon dropped these from its body as well. Keep in mind that Grimm are not flesh and blood creatures. They do not reproduce/breed. They do not even need to eat, though they are capable of it.
Salem is probably a Grimm. Vol 3 CH12 - Beginning of the End - Last few seconds of her "beginning of the end" speech. Her eyes glow red like all powerful grim.
I don't know why that reminded me of this, but there was a comic posted to iFunny a few days ago featuring Weiss. It started with Weiss thinking to herself "One in four girls is gay, so someone I know must be gay," followed by a cruedly drawn Team RWBY. The last panel was Weiss blushing while thinking "I hope it's Ruby. Ruby's cute." Weiss is a lesbian. There's your theory.
A crazy theory I like is Torchwick's semblance being teleporting. Mainly comes from the scene where Neo is first introduced, in that, both Neo and Torchwick are on the ground and immediately are on a ship. This theory is also a way people think Torchwick may come back. I don't believe it but I do like the idea and just thinking about what Torchwick's semblance could have been is cool.
I got an awesome crackpot theory: Pyrahh is alive and was sent to salam and she turned her in to a nightmare(soul caliber character) grimm and JNR will have to kill her to save her
I saw and article on rooster teeth's web site right after she died where they were poling fans as to whether to resurrect her as a grimm cursed with her semblance replaced with the powers of the dragon grimm Tyrant (the one time locked at the top of Beacon Tower). I don't know what they decided.
Y have one almost confirmated theory: Every character is one tale or myth, for example: Ruby- Little red Nora- Thor Ozpin- The mage of Oz Salem- The witches hunt Etc.... Edit: Well I supose this is actually true lol, not a theory
Yang- Goldilocks Weiss- Snow White Blake- Bell from Beauty and the Beast Jaune- Joan of Arc Pyrrha- Achilles Ren- Mulan (My favorite) Penny- Pinnochio (hehe..)
Notice Blake and literally every other faunus tend to take on characteristics of the animal they represent Ruby cant be a wolf because her personality is exactly the opposite and doesnt respond negatively to very loud noises like a wolf would Also you never see her getting pissed at the moon lol Not to mention Blake would stay away from her since wolves are the ancestors of dogs Meanwhile Blake avoids dogs, gets distracted by lazor pointers, and generally acts like a cat Only seeking attention when she wants it and being a mood 99% of the time
Anyone ever thought that Salem is the daughter of the god of darkness. Or that Salem is a Grimm Faunus because it would seem that Grimm are animals in the RWBY universe therefore a Grimm Faunus isn't out of the question
it just did either way fucking an animal doesn't make a half human half animal arguing over how it works because it just is another race in this stories universe in lord of the rings are you gonna as where the elves came from? or the dwarves it doesn't matter where they came from just hat they are a thing
no. god happened -> poof -> faunus regarding the salem thing... well daughter might be a bit much... but her beeing an avatar or her having a manifestation of his powers might be more likely. alternatively she just held the power of destruction (one of the 4 powers that qrow tells the crew about) for to long and it has corrupted her body...
first sorry for my poor english... but hear me out on this one. at first the idea of Tai being a faunus was a little off field...then I remenber the guy in the bookstore, the faunus that Mercury and Emerald where looking for...Tukson He had something that make the Tai Faunus theory plausible, he had retractable claws... This mean that Faunus could have traits that they can hide, being this the case Tai can have claws or fang but they could be retractable... The only and major problem is that wolf dont have retractable claws or fangs much less likely, cause in the case of Tukson he was some kind of a panter but is no imposible... dont you think? Side note wolverine + sabretooth = Tukson... Right?
You are right about tai as for ruby her eyes are grey may be thats also could be an animal triat, founese animal trait could be anything hidden to wisable, so what abut ruvbys animal trait is her eyes, more spesificly her eye color

@@miq482 Mobs do use children often, but certainly not as enforcers. Children make great pickpockets and runners/smugglers. Police are far more likely to find an adult suspicious than a child.
I know its out there but I have always thought that Summer Rose was a wolf faunus. You cant see the top of her head or if she has a tail because of her cloak, so its possible. That way Ruby can be the daughter of a wolf faunus but not be one herself. i think it was stated in a world of remnant that the child of a human and a faunus will make a human OR a faunus but not a mix between the two.
Ozpin Scott Nah, a child of a faunus and a human will always be born a faunus. However there are faunus traits that make it easy to blend in with humans, like chameleon skin, retracteble claws heck, we haven't even seen a faunus with animal fangs. If Ruby was a faunus then fangs would probably be the most logical choice for her animal trait.
Hears the Ruby is a wolf theory: "You know, with Summer's head always suspiciously being covered by a hood, this theory just might work." Then hears the Yang is a dragon theory: *Facepalms*
I've seen a two theories, both of which are crazier than any of those seen in the video. 1. Yang is actually Summer Rose, based solely off the fact that she said "I have many names" to Junior. 2. Ruby is a Maiden, and that Qrow completely made up the story about the Silver-Eyed Warriors. I've also seen people theorizing that Roman is still alive even though Rooster Teeth confirmed he's dead.
1. We already know what Summer Rose looks like, and it's nothing like Yang. 2. If Ruby was a maiden, sending her to another continent would be a very, very bad idea on Qrow's part.
Well, in their defense, they were made well before Vol. 4 was released, but they're still pretty stupid. In fact, the "Yang is Summer" Theory was likely made early into Vol. 1. I wouldn't be surprised if it was made after the Yellow Trailer and no episodes had been released yet.
I believe Mercury is Yang’s brother. We don’t know who Mercury’s mother is it could be Raven. She does have a history of taking off and leaving her child with the father. Both Yang and Mercury lost limbs and had them replaced with metal limbs, their weapons are really similar, they’ve fought each other one on one multiple times, and they both killed the person that tormented them. Technically none of that is hard evidence and could be a coincidence but I believe it’s just foreshadowing. I’m actually really surprised this isn’t a more popular theory I mean I haven’t heard anyone other than me talk about it. It’s definitely not as far fetched as some other theories out there.
Penny was the first robot that could create an aura. Theory - she was built to become a maiden - evidenced by her saying she was built to save the world. She may have been brought to Vale specifically because Ironwood wanted her to "take over" from Amber, but Ozpin wanted Pyrrha instead. Rebuilding Penny as the Winter Maiden would make things interesting.
Belrevan eh I can take them or leave them but if she is a wolf ears won't be her trait, either something obscured by her clothes or something internal I'd say
Penny coming back would make her death less important. If you can just mass produce robots with the same personality, looks and memories, it'd make them feel less "human". Thus, making them computers with complicated programming.
...Penny is, essentially, a computer with complicated programming. No doubt it'd take them a long time to make another Penny, but I don't think it'd make her death less important. Wasn't even that important to begin with. Heck, Penny herself wasn't really important to the story.
Essentially, the likelihood of Penny coming back depends on if her soul survived the encounter, she does have one which is something everyone seems to forget. The rest of her body is essentially pointless for her survival.
I'd say it would be easy, as long as her memory and personality components are intact she can be brought back as she was, though probably with some trauma due to dying.
Also phyrra is probably still "alive" she attained some of the maidens power, and that power causes your aura to merge with someone, and in rwby's dreams we hear quotes from phyrra that ruby could never have heard, meaning some part of phyrra is in ruby's head leading to a higher chance of ruby and jaunne getting together.
I dont recall seeing any faunus types of mythical creatures. we see a few that may be reminiscent of mythical creatures. but that is usually due to the result of an animal trait being placed on a human-esque body. So I cannot support Yang as a dragon. also Yang's story involves Bears. noone talks about her being a bear faunus even though she packs more power then a pissed grizzly and favoring hand-to-hand combat. I do like the Penny 2.0 or Penny's Big Sister concept however. I did feel that her death didnt neccisarily need to be perminent and was kind of overshaddowed by the more devastating pyrrha death. I do agree that it probably should not be the same Penny. if it turns out that way ofcourse i can deal with it but I doubt it would. But the character core of who and what penny is really does deserve a little more screen time. her father, who he is, what he was doing. all of that could make for a very nice side-story arc when the group hits up atlas.
1- that's not crazy. 2- that's a really good theory 3- why don't you like penny? That is a really good theory. 4- I already knew that. That is not a theory. 5- that is *COOL* and *CRAZY*
None of Your Business in that case she should have known more about faunus and sniffed out that Blake is a cat. Heck, I'm a human and could recognise some people and cats by their smell they leave behind.
I have been a huge fan of RWBY going as far back as the release of the Red Trailer. I introduced my SO to the series during the break between Season 2 and 3. We've both had many a discussion about theories, some pretty crackpotted. I'll share some of them with you. For anyone who hasn't finished watching Season 4, first why; second you've been warned. Ozpin and Salem are the "brothers" who shaped the world. This one is more my SOs than it is mine, but I won't deny there's a possibility given the circumstantial evidence for the moment. Now, to get to the core of this theory. After Ozpin's "death," then him and the child arriving at the bar to meet Qrow, Qrow seems surprisingly... unsurprised as a whole. With this and Ozpin and Pyrrha discussing the four maidens; Ozpin saying the story was around when even he was a child with Pyrrha replying that he wasn't that old seems to hint otherwise. With that, Salem was the god who continued to destroy and created the Grimm, which is why she can control them to the extent that she can, where as Ozpin has always been trying to protect the world and would explain why he is able to place himself in to the mind of the child. Now, there are some holes with this theory, I admit; it's quite a stretch, but not quite as much as the next one, also pertaining to Ozpin and Salem. Ozpin and Salem had a very strong relationship (romantic or otherwise) in days long past. In this version of the theory, they are not the gods themselves, but instead had a relationship at sometime in the past, however they had a major falling out. This was probably caused due to the Grimm and Salem's interest in them. This relationship would date back much longer than anyone would initially realize, because Ozpin's semblance. Oh, yes. Ozpin's semblance would be that upon death, he is capable of surviving as mere consciousness for a short time before being able to find a suitable host body. Someone that has qualities that are similar to that of his original body. Over time, Ozpin and this host become one, Ozpin's consciousness bleeding in until there is no difference between the two. Using this semblance, Ozpin has spent life times doing everything that he can to stop Salem from going too far after their split. The Old Man is the same old man from the fable of The Four Maidens. This one is a favourite. It's just as it says. That old man we all have come to love is none other than the one who created the Four Maidens and is in fact the one God. Evidence? Well, there's not much. The only evidence there really is his somewhat good nature and his ability to seemingly always get a decent business going. The last one we have is my absolute favourite, as it pertains to my favourite character. Weiss. Well, more specifically her family. That is that they are a family who has had a long line of Winter Maidens. Now, it may be a red herring, of course and there's not much other than circumstantial evidence for this one as well, but with the women having the same semblance that has been passed down generation after generation, it seems a bit odd. They're the only family where we have seen something like this that has gone on for so many generations. Yes, Ruby has the same sembalence as her mother, but in the Schnee's case, it has been mothers, daughters, grand daughters, ect. With how closely they are tied to the season of winter as well (Winte rbeing named just that, Wiess' name meaning white and their family name meaning snow), it's a little hard to ignore. Though, again, possible huge red herrings. Anythings, if you managed to read this far down, I congratulate you. Take a like if you end up replying to this.
Someone needs to come up with a name for whatever the fuck the spirit (?) allowing the merging of minds is with Ozpin and Oscar. It can't be Ozpin, or that name would be plastered across history. Also, your Winter Maiden/Schnee thing doesn't quite work. The first great Schnee was Weiss' grandfather, who started out the son of a miner. I don't think maidens ran in the family. However, before Volume 4, I had a similar idea about Cinder's family name, and that the Fall maiden's powers passed down in her family until Cinder, where it went to an unrelated Amber instead, prompting Cinder to go for that power specifically, and later tell Pyrrha she believed in destiny. I don't know if I believe that idea anymore, but it's food for thought.
While I agree that the Maiden/Schnee connection isn't as strong as some other theories out there, I believe it does still have some merit. My reasoning for this is because we don't know really much of anything about Weiss' mother. Without knowing much more about previous women in the Schnee family stemming from the mothers side we won't know if there is a connection with the Winter Maiden. It's just a little odd, I find, that a sembalence has been passed down through several generations, where as we've never really seen this with anyone else, barring Summer and Ruby. Unless other characters have kept a hereditary sembalence a secret, it's something that really stands out. As for Ozpin and Oscar, for the moment, my SO and I have been refering to them as 'Ozsy'. I am eager to learn a lot more about the pair regardless of whether or not my theory about them is correct.
i dunno if it qualifies as a "theory" since i have little to no evidence, but i get this feeling that Qrow may be Ruby's real dad since they share a lot more in common than Ruby and Tai do. like i said, dunno if it's really a theory but it's fun to think about
As far as we know semblances aren't hereditary except for the Schnees. We don't know Tai's semblance either, so we don't know how similar it is to Ruby's.
Look I'm just trying to have fun and maybe start a conversation. Obviously Ruby looks exactly like Summer but she should have inherited SOMETHING from her father shouldn't she have? Like i said i don't expect this to be fact i just find it fun to think about
Andrew MacCarthy Well Taiyang is blond and has blue eyes both are recessive traits so it's makes sense that she wouldn't get much from him. It's a coin flip and we don't really know how semblances work with genetics. And if someone is raid by someone else they're more likely to be like that person regardless of blood. Ruby spent a lot of time with Qrow he taught he how to fight and Yang probably spent a lot of time with Tai. I don't know if I'm explaining this correctly
My strange theory is that Ruby is the summer maiden. Her mother, Summer, was the maiden before her. She thought she could defeat Salem, given the fact she was a maiden and had silver eyes, but failed. She died but her final thoughts, instead of being on Salem, were on Ruby. Ruby gets the powers without knowing and goes on with her life. Ozpin realizes that she's a maiden and that's a large reason on why he let her in. The real reason Salem is going after Ruby is not, or at least entirely, because she hurt Cinder, but instead because of her dangerous mix of being a silver-eyed warrior and a maiden. No actual evidence behind this, I just think it would be cool.
I'm a fan of the Ruby wolf faunus theory and I guess Emerald can't be half human half faunus if one of the parents were faunus. I have a theory with semblances: I think it's possible to have only up to two semblances and semblances can be replaced. (Hint Hint Penny)
***** I don't think silver eyes are only exclusive to humans. I think it's more about the parent to pass down the gene to the offspring human or faunus.
In the video, a faunus characteristic/feature isn't a semblance, it's supposed to be a body part and a sort of behavior. Sort of like Blake's cat ears and her love for tuna.
I actually think Qrow is Ruby's biological father. Some guy in the comments already explained a lot of the connections so I won't go into explaining why I think so. Its a top comment so its not really hard to find.
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD Salem IS a human grim. In rwby season 6 we learn about salem's past and she through herself into one of the pools that grim come from. She did that because she was immortal (which is probably why she is so wise and knowledgeable) Anyway, instead of the grim pool killing her like she had wanted, it turned her evil and changed how she looked. Her appearance changed to become more dark and grim-like, and as i said she became evil, like grim!
Phyrra can be revived in season 3 ironwood says you can take an aura and cram it into something else In season 1 Phyrra unlocks Jaune's aura with her own Jaune can use Phyrra's aura and put it u in to a robot of Phyrra
Cephalon Blue i think he means her aura is connected with jaunes so he could find it or something and then give it a body but that would be sooo messed up tho to me
My crackpot theory is that Salem isn't so much a person as it is an entity that takes a host. On top of that the host is Raven and Qrow mom and that's why they left the tribe in the first place and why they know what's going on.
Well if my mom suddenly became the host for an evil spirit I don't think I would be living with her. For all we know she was and then killed their dad when he tried to protect them. Though that part I think is more AU then actual theory.
Because the term crackpot theory is a 'theory' that has little backing and is often revolving around one idea/point. Fang stated that in the video, but really they are hypotheses. I just shortened the term to theory because people understand what I mean when I say it even if I'm using the term incorrectly.
My Theory: *The Winter Maiden can bring someone back to life.* See, all four Maidens have a different gift: Summer is Destruction, Spring is Knowledge, Autumn is Choice, Winter is *Creation.* Therefore, she could create, or rather, recreate, a human life. Since we know practically nothing about the Winter Maiden, I'm not positive. (Also, Winter Schnee is particularly good at Summoning, if you catch my drift ;3)
Well I was thinking that when Qrow was talking about the light brother and dark brother that Ozpin was the light brother and that’s why he reincarnates and same with Salom but she is the dark brother it is not certain that Salom does reincarnate But is just a theory. Also I was thinking maybe all the main characters ( Team Rwby) become the maidens if you look at the type of relics they are you can kinda depict that Ruby as the spring maiden as it is tied to the Relic of Knowledge, Weis as the winter maiden as it is tied to the of creation, Blake as the fall maiden tied to the relic of choice and Yang as the summer maiden tied to the relic of destruction ya see what I mean.
Even so, a dog would need a moneybag of pure cocoa to be affected in even the slightest way, and chocolate isn't pure cocoa, so a few *CHOCOLATE CHIP* cookies wouldn't do much of anything. But don't go ahead and feed your dog like, 60 bags of chocolate. That would probably take an effect.
I was always wondering, since the gods appear to be faunas and can transform into dragons, does that mean faunas have the power to transform into their respective animals as well?
I think it'd be really cool (but very unlikely) if Pyrrah came back like possessed and evil and Jaune would have to kill her for real. Probably not gonna happen, it would just give Arkos shippers another chance lol
well there is a theory that a part of pyrrahs soul was ripped out as the dying amber ripped out the maidens power from pyrrahs body. that would mean that a part of pyrrahs sould is inside of cinder. if they are going to make it canon (and i hope they dont) this could lead to jaune fighting cinder, pyrrah fighting for control and begging jaune to kill cinder before she kills jaune.
Part of me wants that it happens and the other part doesn't. It would be a heck of a lot of anguish for Jaune tho. Not gonna lie now that I think about it I'm leaning towards "I hope RT doesn't do this" on this one.
all we hear is her sayingjaunes name. andthat could easily happen through jaune listening to the video. i listen to lets plays and series when i go to bed and sometimes my mind pranks me with the sounds by using them in my dream. good chance that this happened here.
I just wanted to say something about some other crazy theories video about RWBY. Crow is NOT Ruby's dad. Because sometime earlier in the series, you hear Ruby shouting to Crow, "Uncle Crow!"
@@jassiiij Same thing happened with Bleach. Ichigo could get wounded big time... But he would never die and in most cases if he ever got into a pinch he'd always be able to find that extra boost of power to be able to overcome his opponent. He basically was god levels of OP. After all he had a single use attack that outright killed anything directly infront of him that came into contact with the energy wave released from his sword. Which he pretty much used as soon as he unlocked the ability to use it... The consequence of it was that after he used the attack he gradually lost all his powers and access to his sword. Although we see near the end of the show's overall storyline that due to plot regains Ichigo regains his powers and the ability to use his sword. Basically giving him a second use of that insanely OP single use attack should he need it.
I have a crazy theory that is based around 2 things. The first is the question of how Ozpin knew Ruby likes cookies, while the second is the fact of he has allowed Team RWBY to do stuff no other 1st year was allowed to do. Why would he do that? My theory is this: what if Ozpin is Summer's father and thus Ruby's grandfather? It would explain both the knowledge of Ruby's love of cookies and why he seems to play a bit of favoritism towards Team RWBY.

Plus some other aspects that we now know
Volume 8: Well yes but actually no
@@GrimmjowwJ shhhhh
V8: Chucks beer out window
Here is one:
Qrow is actually Ruby's biological father, not Taiyang.
A few more things:
Tai is a close combat fighter, Yang is a close combat fighter.
I love that theory. But I'm ok if it not canon.
Haven't Miles and Kerry already said that Qrow isn't Rubys father
If they wanted a reveal like that then they wouldn't say it wasn't true just to turn around and say they lied, besides what people say point to it have little weight since her personality is closer to Tai, she looks exactly like Summer and for all we know Summer used a similar weapon to Ruby

Seriously, no teenager that is in a lower level Huntsman Academy like Signal could possibly afford a motorcycle unless they had a side gig to earn some money, and a pretty sizable amount at that.
aceofaces0007 maybe taiyang bought it. Maybe teachers actually make money in remnant.
Yang got a bike because she wanted it, and because she wanted it, rather than needed it, Taiyang would have likely told Yang to get a job and save up for it, like any parent would, in order to teach the value of hard work and earning money for the things you want.
aceofaces0007 the fact that she's a huntress now! Every knight needs a regal af steed
Okay. Name one other character in this entire show who has a "regal af steed" or any other personal mode of transportation (meaning those that aren't likely government/military property).
Here's a hint: there are none. Everyone walks.
aceofaces0007 hmm.... good point. I think it might just be something to make her... cool...

Wasn't Cinder's arm grim? Meaning her aura can't protect it.
She lost her arm and replaced it with a grim arm I thought.
Yes, but you have to remember that Cinder could have died a very very painful death by the hands of Salem because of her failure. Ruby put Cinder into a dangerous situation.
spoiler alert:
in volume 5 or whichever volume it was one thing that made me so freaking pissed was when bEfORe ruby's silver eyes literally damaged like one-third of cinder's body but in the final battle when cinder was going after the relic ruby's silver eyes did literally NOTHING and yeah contradict me that cinder DID take damage but EXCUSE ME U LOST A FREAKING ARM AND EYE ETC AND UR STILL STANDING somebody take a gun and send a bullet through my head RIGHT NOW

at first the idea of Tai being a faunus was a little off field...then I remenber the guy in the bookstore, the faunus that Mercury and Emerald where looking for...Tukson

I think that the “wolf” in Ruby’s story is herself, meaning her demons.
That are pushed down and being slowly leaked in Vol 5 and 6
I know its out there but I have always thought that Summer Rose was a wolf faunus. You cant see the top of her head or if she has a tail because of her cloak, so its possible. That way Ruby can be the daughter of a wolf faunus but not be one herself. i think it was stated in a world of remnant that the child of a human and a faunus will make a human OR a faunus but not a mix between the two.
Ozpin Scott
Nah, a child of a faunus and a human will always be born a faunus. However there are faunus traits that make it easy to blend in with humans, like chameleon skin, retracteble claws heck, we haven't even seen a faunus with animal fangs.
If Ruby was a faunus then fangs would probably be the most logical choice for her animal trait.
Hears the Ruby is a wolf theory: "You know, with Summer's head always suspiciously being covered by a hood, this theory just might work."
Then hears the Yang is a dragon theory: *Facepalms*

Ruby looks so cute with wolf ears!!
Belrevan Ruby is cute period, just saying
Randy Johnson. I know, but the wolf ears cranks up the cuteness level a few levels
Belrevan eh I can take them or leave them but if she is a wolf ears won't be her trait, either something obscured by her clothes or something internal I'd say
I hate to nitpick, but wolf ears are short and round, by a quick look, the ears are coyote ears, what with them being long and more pointed.
my exact thought when i first saw it
Penny coming back would make her death less important.
White Rose I would honestly prefer it IF she came back with a small mistake in her programming.
The Salem Grimm and Penny JNPR theories are actually good

2- that's a really good theory
3- why don't you like penny? That is a really good theory.
4- I already knew that. That is not a theory.
5- that is *COOL* and *CRAZY*
Plot twist, everyone's secretly a faunus.
DaEpicFirestar it'd be hard for a robot to be a faunus lol
Jacques won't be happy with this, but fuck him, he's a douche
Human Faunus?
Cardin.
@Birdman John Oh my goodness. Oh my gosh. I think we went full Info Wars. XD
I kinda like the idea of Ruby being a wolf Faunus.
None of Your Business No. 7f she were, she couldn't have chocolate.
I LOVE IT AND WANT IT TO HAPPEN!
None of Your Business it would kinda come out of no where, but it would make her super damn cute.
None of Your Business in that case she should have known more about faunus and sniffed out that Blake is a cat. Heck, I'm a human and could recognise some people and cats by their smell they leave behind.
Rythlar isn’t she already adorable?
I fully expect Penny to reappear in volume 7, and not recognize any of the gang. It's just the right level of heart-rending.
Bruh watching this in 2019 after volume six and that Salem’s theory is pretty close
I don't think we were ever told what Summer's semblance was, because the silver eyes are something else entirely.
Winter and Weiss have the same semblance. Summoning versions of enemies from their past to fight for them.
What does that have to do with Summer?
i dunno if it qualifies as a "theory" since i have little to no evidence, but i get this feeling that Qrow may be Ruby's real dad since they share a lot more in common than Ruby and Tai do. like i said, dunno if it's really a theory but it's fun to think about
Edwin Coutino Ruby and Qrow's semblance is nothing alike.
As far as we know semblances aren't hereditary except for the Schnees. We don't know Tai's semblance either, so we don't know how similar it is to Ruby's.
Or Ruby takes more strongly after her mother. You know, the person who's almost identical to Ruby in Qrow's picture.
The Salem theory isn't that bad
its true
Yeah especially when compared to other theories on this list
The second theory about Salem being a human grimm made me laugh so hard because SEASON 6
What do you say when you are attacked by Penny’s two younger sisters?
Ans: Help! Help! I’m being Nickel and Dimed to death!
Salem a "human Grimm" seems the most plausible.
my theory is that the Fandom will get worse:D
That's fact, not theory.
We're already there
You guys think your fandom is so bad but it's really not... Most fandom I've seen and been in are much WORSE like dang
Eerie Cat Why would you even see those fandoms’ bad sides anyway?
Theory confirmed
I really wish that the JNPR Penny theory is going to happen. It just makes so much sense. Also, IT WASN'T PYRRHA'S FAULT!!
Is yangs weapon not considered a blunt weapon???
I'm a fan of the Ruby wolf faunus theory and I guess Emerald can't be half human half faunus if one of the parents were faunus. I have a theory with semblances: I think it's possible to have only up to two semblances and semblances can be replaced. (Hint Hint Penny)
***** I don't think silver eyes are only exclusive to humans. I think it's more about the parent to pass down the gene to the offspring human or faunus.
***** But my point is let's say if Summer was Blake's Mom Blake would have silver eyes because in that situation is her offspring.
What does Penny have to do with anything?
As for me, I have a hard time believing that wolf theory.
animedude8712 Semblance
Good for Health Bad for Education Did we even know what Penny's semblance was?
In the video, a faunus characteristic/feature isn't a semblance, it's supposed to be a body part and a sort of behavior. Sort of like Blake's cat ears and her love for tuna.
And her fear of Zwei.
Agree
And the fact that she loves boxes. (RWBY Chibi. What can I say?)
shhhhh Penny was the best character. good video btw
wouldn't yang's hair catching fire be support for ya know
*a fire bird*
Are you gonna make another RWBY crack theory video in the future?
Yang as a dragon would be fucking awesome
I like the idea of Penny being reincarnated into Yang's cool new arm. It would be like Freckles in RVB.
But why would that have happened? Penny had no special connection to Yang.
Tahanok2 Because I like that idea. Don't judge me.
I actually think Qrow is Ruby's biological father. Some guy in the comments already explained a lot of the connections so I won't go into explaining why I think so. Its a top comment so its not really hard to find.
NickPresents1 It’s been confirmed that Qrow isn’t. By the writers.
If you've watched volume 6, it explains that Salem basically is a human grim🙃🙃
And now there are human grim
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD
Salem IS a human grim.
So Yang is a super sayan dovahkiin. Adam is fucked.
Phyrra can be revived
in season 3 ironwood says you can take an aura and cram it into something else
In season 1 Phyrra unlocks Jaune's aura with her own
Jaune can use Phyrra's aura and put it u
in to a robot of Phyrra
WOLF master so where is her aura?
Cephalon Blue i think he means her aura is connected with jaunes so he could find it or something and then give it a body but that would be sooo messed up tho to me
OMFG IF THAT HAPPENS IMMA CRY
Pyrrha-bot.
If that was possible why did they try to transfer Ambers power to Phyrra?
And does this theory affect Perry?
I can see Penny reincarnated in a new robot body as an acceptable idea.
That's the first time I've been told I have an open mind 😭❤ tysm. I believe like all your theories!! You're just so great at drawing conclusions!
Theory 1: that would make Ooblek in the mafia... He has a coffee bat.
'little sun dragon'
isnt that what a pheonix is-
Phoenixes and dragons actually hate each other.
Well that Salem one seems to be having a lot more backing now
My crackpot theory is that Salem isn't so much a person as it is an entity that takes a host. On top of that the host is Raven and Qrow mom and that's why they left the tribe in the first place and why they know what's going on.
Raven and Qrow are implied to have been adopted into the tribe, not born into it.
Well if my mom suddenly became the host for an evil spirit I don't think I would be living with her. For all we know she was and then killed their dad when he tried to protect them. Though that part I think is more AU then actual theory.
I'm trying to figure out why you're even using the term "theory" when you have no proof of anything.
Because the term crackpot theory is a 'theory' that has little backing and is often revolving around one idea/point. Fang stated that in the video, but really they are hypotheses. I just shortened the term to theory because people understand what I mean when I say it even if I'm using the term incorrectly.
Why is Salem being a human-grimm considered a crackpot theory? That makes so much sense.
My Theory:
*The Winter Maiden can bring someone back to life.*
See, all four Maidens have a different gift:
Summer is Destruction,
Spring is Knowledge,
Autumn is Choice,
Winter is *Creation.*
Therefore, she could create, or rather, recreate, a human life.
Also I was thinking maybe all the main characters ( Team Rwby) become the maidens if you look at the type of relics they are you can kinda depict that Ruby as the spring maiden as it is tied to the Relic of Knowledge, Weis as the winter maiden as it is tied to the of creation, Blake as the fall maiden tied to the relic of choice and Yang as the summer maiden tied to the relic of destruction ya see what I mean.
ruby ate a chocolate chip cookie dog cannot eat chocolates
Well, I mean a wolf her size would need to eat a shit ton of chocolate to be affected in any terrible way
THEORY DEBUNKED GG
Well what about Blake she drunk tea (hot tea)
just because they have the ears of a wolf dose not mean they have digestive system of a wolf
That would probably take an effect.
you for got about silver eye that part ruby
Would that turn all silver eyed warriors into wolf faunus then?
Just saying, right now Ruby and Summer are the only ones we know of.
sonictouhoufan hey, aren't werewolves supposed to die when they are wounded by... A silver bullet ?
Psst- psst-
Salem is actually a human grimm if you have watched volume 6
I was always wondering, since the gods appear to be faunas and can transform into dragons, does that mean faunas have the power to transform into their respective animals as well?
The faunus theories are the lamest.
Demonologist especially that dragon one
Demonologist the ruby ones at least believable though
Raven can turn into a raven. Qrow can turn into a crow. Ruby might turn into a wolf.
Edward Oliveira no, she'll turn into a ruby.
Good point that could be a plot twist
I think it'd be really cool (but very unlikely) if Pyrrah came back like possessed and evil and Jaune would have to kill her for real. Probably not gonna happen, it would just give Arkos shippers another chance lol
Crumpet Muppet That is something I certainly thought about
well there is a theory that a part of pyrrahs soul was ripped out as the dying amber ripped out the maidens power from pyrrahs body. that would mean that a part of pyrrahs sould is inside of cinder. if they are going to make it canon (and i hope they dont) this could lead to jaune fighting cinder, pyrrah fighting for control and begging jaune to kill cinder before she kills jaune.
Part of me wants that it happens and the other part doesn't. It would be a heck of a lot of anguish for Jaune tho. Not gonna lie now that I think about it I'm leaning towards "I hope RT doesn't do this" on this one.
its more likely phyrra's soul entered ruby as ruby's dream contain dialogue from phyrrha that ruby never heard
all we hear is her sayingjaunes name. andthat could easily happen through jaune listening to the video. i listen to lets plays and series when i go to bed and sometimes my mind pranks me with the sounds by using them in my dream. good chance that this happened here.
I just wanted to say something about some other crazy theories video about RWBY. Crow is NOT Ruby's dad. Because sometime earlier in the series, you hear Ruby shouting to Crow, "Uncle Crow!"
He could be her dad and she just doesn't know it and grew up to think he is her uncle.
Suzie Toanone precisely even so, him revealing it to her after all those years would break her she wouldn’t just shrug it off
Could you please supply the name of the song you played in the background during the mafia theory?
0:32
Maybe ruby did have grey hair as shown 7:36 but she dye to black and red-ish?
They've been on the road for months, her hair would've grown out and you'd see the grey on the top
Unmei No Niji right
Eh, Ruby's the main character... MAKE HER AS OP AS YOU WANT! >:D
Mistress Cry theire you go Buddy well they made her the cutest breathing thing under the sun atleast
Purified Cry you have a point Naruto is the MC in his show and his creator made him God like.
I want ruby to be a wolf yangs too overpowered to be a dragon tho
Hunterxgaming GET THE FUCK OUT HERES THE DOOR 🚪
I guess Ruby could have retractable claws like Tukson, I doubt it, but she could
0:59 "the only other characters that uses blunt weapons like nora are torchwick and junior "
1:40 you can see sun use a bo staff
Ruby faunus is adorable
I will like that Ruby is a wolf fannus and also yang!!!!!!! That will be great 😍😍😍😍😘😘
So you’re okay with Penny coming back so long as we never see Penny again? Okay.
Yang definitely has the spirit of a dragon
I have a crazy theory that is based around 2 things. The first is the question of how Ozpin knew Ruby likes cookies, while the second is the fact of he has allowed Team RWBY to do stuff no other 1st year was allowed to do. Why would he do that? My theory is this: what if Ozpin is Summer's father and thus Ruby's grandfather? It would explain both the knowledge of Ruby's love of cookies and why he seems to play a bit of favoritism towards Team RWBY.
