Permanent vinyl is not permanent on cups that are being used and washed a lot. Especially if you are going to put them in the dishwasher. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much!’

Glad I found this I have been trying to find a way to seal vinyl but quick to not take 28 days to cure. I am new to the cup designs. Is that ok to use on mugs too?
I wouldn't recommend it. It will leave a texture
I use crystal clear in mugs and it works.

Hello!! Is sealing this way safe to drink from and how long should the cup cure? I know regular mod podge is about 30 days.
I let it dry 24hrs and then give it a wash. After that, I use it

hi! i did my first cup with this spray and it left streaks running down i’m not sure if i applied too much?
Spray lightly and keep the cup moving. This is a product you want to build up very thin coats.

I want to seal my cups cause I use acrylic tumblers and the vinyl comes off and I use permanent vinyl. I don't want to use epoxy either

Do you know how well this works over holographic vinyl? Like will it dull the shine of it or will it still look shiny?
I actually like how it leaves the holo vinyl. It's a texture but still shiny. Kinda looks like a glitter texture

I just sprayed mine and let it sit for 24 hours and it still flakes off and scratches easily. 😩
@@kimberlysantiago7639 I tried it also and after curing for like 3 weeks I can easily scratch it with my nail. Such a bummer. Can I ask you if you've found anything that holds up better that is not epoxy? I'm just thinking I'll use epoxy cause I also tried the mod podge dishwasher safe one but it was super streaky.

Hi can that Mod Podge be apply on to stickers that is already on my hydro flask. And when I apply that spray, will my stickers be protected from being scratched, fading, and washed off.

I use Dishwasher safe mod podge on my wine glasses. I do 2 coats as final costing.

No its not they have a dish washer safe option of the glue mod podge blueish greenish label

Hello do u prep your cup with rubbing alcohol or sand it before applying vinyl?
I just prep with alcohol. No sanding for this. The spray is very light and probably won't cover the sanding
If that sealer could work on handpainted coffee mugs? I'm teaching Painting class and I want them to customize ceramic mugs , but we are having problems finding sealers, only found the very very very expensive ones that my students can't afford :(
There is a dishwasher safe Mod Podge that would probably be way better for that.

You only spray the outside of the cup and the rim is covered with tape, so you won't be drinking off of the mod podge.

No definitely not. This is just a super light acrylic. Yes, Maybe try the dishwasher safe modpodge.

Hi so I did everything the same except I didn’t have anything to use for the inside of the cup to hold while I spray it. I held it with something else but I feel like when spraying it, it may of got a little inside as well I left them sitting for hours.My question is are the cups ruined or do you think they’ll be fine after washing?
cant say. it might wash off from the inside but it's not meant to come off easily
