I hardly get wii games except for games like this. I loved the first super mario galaxy and this makes me want to play it again. Looking forward to this game!
I gotta admit, I hope this sequel has more space themed places, because most of what I see takes place in clouds..Just an aesthetic thing. I love outer space, and the 1st being like that.

Ohh man, this is OUTSTANDING!!! I haven't played the first SMG that much but it's just too brilliant! Its worlds are amazing, its music is so beautiful that it has made me feel like about to cry, and its gameplay is just excellent! Now this sequel is really promising; it looks much more challenging and it really proves itself to be a huge bunch of new levels rather than the same game! If the first SMG is considered the best Wii game, I can't imagine how much better this one will be! I WANT IT!!!
Music in the trailer is friggin' incredible. Can't wait for the entire soundtrack ingame. Why Nintendo doesn't go for orchestral recordings with all their major games is beyond me.

10 years ago i would've been looking forward to this game lol. Whatever though, in my heart, Super Mario 64, was, is, and always will be the greatest Mario game ever created.
Ya know, this isn't the only 3-D Mario platformer to have Yoshi playable. You can play as him in Super Mario 64 DS and in Super Mario Sunshine. Not to mention he makes a cameo in Super Mario 64.
I MUST REPLAY THE FIRST ONE AGAIN! I am just dying to see the new hub. The hub worlds are always my favorite for some reason. I also wonder what that new Shooting Star Coin does. I am really wanting to make sure that I don't spoil this game for myself.

I don't doubt it at all. Based on the footage, the kind of gameplay you see late into the original SMG is the norm here. Giant bullet bills from Fate of the Universe, for instance.
Just wait until you get all the Power Stars to play as LUIGI again. I wonder if the plot involves Yoshi's Island experiencing something similar to the original game, but Bowser kidnaps not only Peach, but also the whole Yoshi's Island.
@thundabolt Well, I downloaded something called "Free Studio" which is a program that lets me copy and paste the RUclips address into it. Then it converts it into an MP3 which I listen to on my iPod. If you Google the name "Free Studio" you should be able to find it. I can't seem to find a version without the sound effects fully removed.
Yes! They brought the Orchestra back! I loved Galaxy's soundtrack, and I'm hoping this game will be just as epic.
