I just planted a bearrs lime last week and I’ve been binging all your videos. Thank you.
Thanks. I like all your videos. I'm planting Mexican Key Lime now.
Thanks 🙏 for making this video have rodents and termites I’m in Oahu Hawaii and this will help a lot iv organic products look great 👍 I’m definitely doing this to my trees
Thanks for the info! I just purchased one today. I hope they do well.
Excellent videos amigo, thank you for all of the great information. I live in Southern Baja California, México, its a harsh sun down here in this desert! Ive found that contrary to all my citrus trees, lemons, mexican lime, kumquats or my mandarina, the bearss lime gets some sort of heat shock and the leaves curl by mid day everyday even with a bit extra water... The plant is a 1.5 years old, will it adapt to this over time or should I move it to a partial shade area of the garden? thing is it would only get about 4 hours of direct sun there. Saludos amigo
When do you prune the top branches to keep the bushy shape? I mean do you start in the first season or wait until it is big enough to produce a substantial harvest.
Very nice video 👍🏽
Do the Persian Lime and the Mexican Limes taste the same? Is one more bitter than the other?
Do they have thorns?
What coat paint did you they we should use to cover exposed branch?
Dani Lee yes, they do have thorns
Лимончики можно рукой через забор достать 😁 Надо колючую проволоку повесить
Hi I got a Bearss lime tree and can I pick them when they are green?
Which fertilizer use this plant?
Is that Lima? I been looking for one. I’m in Bay Area as well
Is the fruit-fall because of lack of water?
is this lime green or yellow?
I bought a Beards Lime tree a few months ago at my local home improvement store. I haven't planned it yet. But I live in Denver Colorado. Will it survive the winter? I do have it on my balcony in a sunny place. But like I said its still in its original pot from the store. How do I get it started and again will it survive the winter, like snow too?
You have to bring it indoors for the winter.
Does persian lime produce seeds by any chance
drj Westfield Wisconsin what kind of lime has green fruit and how big does the fruit get? Thank you for your time and answer.
In another video you suggested that trees be pruned between harvesting and flowering. My tree is loaded with limes at the moment. Is it okay to pick all the remaining fruit and then prune?
Hello Laser Sharp,
Yes, if you can time and pace yourself to prune between harvest and flower-- that would be ideal. The timing should coincide with the passing of any chance of frost as well! I pruned on this visit because I only visit this property an average of 2x per year and no one would prune this tree otherwise. Great observation! :)

Hi. I am in the Bahamas and we have a soursop tree that is being overtaken with big ants and destroying the fruits.
What do you recommend for ants
I wish I'd like a Creole (Mexican) lime tree at home!
Hi Charles, I have loamy-clay-soil in my garden . should I use sour orange or c-35 as rootstock ? regards
This was so awesome, thank you! I really want to try to grow this, a dwarf key lime fruit, from seed, then graph it next to my american persiommon bonsai. Is there any way you or someone could send me a few seeds? It would mean so much. Just think about it and get back to me please! Thanks!!
@Hayes Ian ohhh if you hacked your gf you just have low standards for yourself respect
Can you describe the taste specifically? Does it taste like kiwi or lemon?
Which lime tree has thorns & without thorns?
The Mexican Lime trees have thorns. Persian ones have very few
is it bearss lime or bearss lemon?
what is the yield or production of the mexican lime tree and how many times a year does it fruit. thanks
Hello Ibraahim Dirir,
The Mexican Lime Tree bears fruit year round; however, the heaviest yield is early winter. The second heaviest yields are typically between May-June. The amount of fruit depends on the size of the tree. Dwarf trees are smaller and generally support more fruit per area of plant than a standard; however, a standard tree because of the size can typically support hundreds of fruit per year (at maturity). Let me know if you have any other questions! Charles :)
thanks, great channel btw, just subbed.
Thank you Ibraahim! :-)

Can you recommend a nursery in Palm Springs Area?
What is a significant difference between lime and lemon, please
Hello Adi Araintika Dunia, Both lemons and limes can be yellow, although limes are generally ripe green. Limes are more acidic and bitter, compared to lemons. My wife uses lemons several times per week in preparing salad dressings, and when we switch to limes, there is a significant taste difference. I hope this helps! Charles :-)
Thanks for your brief, It is clear for me now. Good Luck
Can you graft and sell to me
I wish there was a small can of that 3-in-1
Persian lime is seedless because it is thriploid.
As its name suggests it was developed hundreds of years ago in Iran but "for some reasons" they have been renamed...
Why do you refer to planting as installing? It seems like you're putting in a stereo system or TV rather than a live tree. Just curious. :-)
Hahahaha!!! I've been thinking the same thing... It's endearing...
LOL
So, Persian limes are yellow inside and out?
Only if the fruit is left on. Usually it’s picked green. But if you leave it on long enough it will turn yellow and get a bit less sour. The Mexican lime (key lime) will do the same thing.
@@gregm4482 thank you!
I don't know why, but I suddenly have the urge to plant an Australian finger lime tree. This video must contain subliminal advertising!! 🤣
Is persian lime tree thornless?
Ali Zafar No, they do have thorns
Yes but way less than the Mexican Lime
Tahatian lime tree in Australia.
Pity you didn't have Pomelo tree
When you say the name of your products please SLOW DOWN! It sounds like you are saying IVORY ORGANICS! It was several videos before I looked to see the product name and discovered it was I V ORGANICS!
You should have left those stocks and removed the already fruited and flowered stocks after harvest.. yes cut the tops.. but train the tree with a main branch..
Is all seedless trees are GMO??
No
ONE FLORIDA CITRUS GROWER HAS VIEWED YOUR VIDEO. HE IS NOT PLEASED
Hello SHABAZZ T,
Can you be more specific? In this video I have discussed several topics, and would like to know what his or her concern is. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Charles :)
IT WAS ACTUALLY A WICKED JOKE. FLORIDA CAN NO LONGER GROW CITRUS SAFELY DUE TO THE GREENING VIRUS . I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS .
AWESOME! Thank you SHABAZZ T! :-)
Charles :)
What do you do to keep ants off these kind of trees. I have some and ants are always all over them . Thanks
fe ga ants usually go after aphids. Check your tree
Move your fingers from the lens
What a lot of wasted fruit!!! Oh man!! what I would do to get some of those.
All people who click on these videos want to know what to feed the plant. Showing a yellowing leaf followed by a statement one should provide a suitable fertiliser is useless.
Move your finger ffs
It's amazing how dumb plants can be, growing in the way of their own necessary sunlight.
