A lot of us are average so I don’t expect my partner to be a 10/10. Some women do have unrealistic standards, but you can’t tell me those dating channels don’t get a kick out of putting women down. The men in the comments have no interest in the women calling. They just want to laugh at them. At the end of the day Kevin Samuels isn’t helping people get into relationships. These alpha male channels are telling men to be disrespectful to women and the femininity channels are teaching woman to perform femininity just to attract men. Everyday there’s a gender war on social media and I had to just log off.

I’m a Christian, so I’ll speak from that pov. I just don’t understand how an all knowing God, will create you, every detail of your existence , put a million things in place just for you to come into being and you decide to let a man you do not know from adam reduce you, all the goodness God put in you, all your experiences, to a number on a scale of 1-10. I pray the people he’s deceived find their way.
God is the only one that knows us, that can tell us who we are, that can give us purpose and can save us from people and ultimately ourselves.

36:57-40:45 Courtney was POPPING OFFFF 🗣 And is she even lying?? Failing your own useless 'high value' test, forgetting that it takes two to make a baby and being so disgustingly misogynistic despite it being a whole woman who birthed and raised you, oftentimes alone. Kevin Samuels can get in the bin.
Edit: In conclusion, society is mad.

As someone who observes the RP space (I don’t actually listen to those clowns), there’s a lot of stupidity going on there. If you think Kevin Samuels is bad, check out Fresh&Fit on YT. They’re even worse.
The Roommates podcast is somewhat better but even they have some problematic views at times. There’s too many generalizations going on on social media in general when it comes to gender wars and dating. When you log off and go outside into real life, you’ll often find that the platitudes that people argue over on Twitter don’t hold as much weight as it seems. Twitter and social media at large is an echo chamber that often doesn’t reflect reality. Most people (when compared with the world population) aren’t on social media, it’s important to keep this in mind.
The high value/low value convo is also a load of BS. Once again, when you step outside, you’ll quickly realize that there is someone *for everyone*. 7B+ people on earth, KS’ 1M YT followers are minuscule in comparison to that.

I 100 percent agree with this! I was introduced to fresh and fit by an ex (first red flag there) and I was interested in their opinions at first, and I could understand their frustrations and plights. Then when I look around at people in relationships in the real world, fresh and fit's views arent a reflection of reality at all. Furthermore, Myron alone is problematic himself, especially being Muslim and discussing his views. He could find the type of woman he would view as valuable in his local mosque instead of feeding the pit of fire for the red pill men who haven't healed from their pain. I've turned my back on that type of content now I only really listen to Tony Gaskins who practices what he preaches. Too much manosphere intake can really make a woman doubt herself

the red pill community is hella weird. one thing i’m noticing with these “influencers” which Renee perfectly described as UNQUALIFIED mad men with a mic is that the communities they create is a HUGE reflection of their own character. like… in essence… these red pill warriors are really just misogynistic trolls who wouldn’t even be able to sustain a healthy relationship and the women who subscribe to those narratives 9 times out of 10 are pick me’s who end up in miserable relationships. it’s sad 🙃

I’ve watched a few of KS videos , and the one thing I can’t understand is how a 50 year old man with 2 failed marriages still “ranks” women based on their looks. That’s something I would understand from someone in their twenties because as we grow up and experience life around us, we get to see first hand how looks and a bank account aren’t everything in life. Character is very important because looks fade, and a bank account can be wiped out in a hot minute.
Secondly in my opinion , honestly, I think some of his callers are “staged” . Particularly the average at best episode. Some of these things we see on social media are smoke and mirrors.

@@Mommasun_ Image consultants in general, only make sense if they are doing so to people who want to maintain a good image in reputable professions, company's image, or professions that require image upkeep. Why is an image consultant dealing with the average joe and Joan- if he can't even do so efficiently. Honestly, it's kind of weird for an image consultant, to assume that he has the skills required to realistically distribute what he believes to be 'someone's deserving level of partner', especially when image wise his prior 'marital status' somewhat , not necessarily dissolves the truth of some of the information', but the credibility of its source.

In South Africa they are known as "blessers" and when you hear the stories from the girls who date them, you will be flawed... We see these videos and memes of women who say they rather be miserable and unhappy but be on a private jet or an exotic vacation instead of happy in a trailer van. I agree that these men who are rare in the black community typically have a lot more pride and arrogance when they reach these levels of success however I think most men are the same. I've noticed KS trying to fear monger black women into not dating "hvm" because they will cheat when studies actually say opposite. I'm unsure about SA but in the USA the most men who cheat are found in the trades. So you're more likely to get cheated on by a plumber than a lawyer. A study by Ashley Madison released this data on professions with most cheater. Definitely look for character first but don't assume a man who makes less will truly treat you better.

Your statement about taking in seeds of someone else’s planted pain was sooo true. I started watching some of these channels as a way to get a different view point on certain things. But after a while it became like I really need to take a break from this. I genuinely hate how I feel after taking some of these channels energies in sometimes. And what you constantly feed yourself is definitely what you will attract.

I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and since then, I've watched/listened most of your podcasts and I'm always amazed by the way the you are both able to phrase things! You strike the perfect balance between being kind but also pragmatic, you "call out" certain behaviours but the way that you bring things up, there is no doubt that it's always from a place of genuine love. I guess that's what it must feel like to be able to talk with a loving big sister and I like this vibe so much! But I got it, we're not friends ;p

However, I do think you can have all the things your partner wants and life can still humble you fast. The reality is we are God's mercy. Just because someone is earning 100k a year now or looks 20/10, doesn't mean that will always be the case. Our needs and desires are always changing.

I just think we need to be careful about the content we consume and how that shapes our daily lives but also what we're internalizing. We ought to discern what we should receive and possibly apply and what should be thrown in the gutter.
Anyway, this was a good episode as always.

You two are inspiring! Amazing conversation and fantastic insight that was equally balanced. We (as individuals) will always be average to someone, but should aspire to become better versions of ourselves every day and not let the words of others influence us to the point of distraction. I think we need to stop trying to see our value through human eyes, or the eyes of the opposite sex, especially in this case. As a fellow christian, I believe we should try and focus on how the Lord sees us and ask HIM to reveal areas in us (both internal & external) that need building and seek help and guidance in how we can change. God Bless you both and thank you!!
