I wish this existed for all classes in the game. Truly, the Ogryns have been blessed by the Emperor.
Dude this guide is so good, I can play maybe 1-2 games a day so it would have taken ages to figure all of this stuff out on my own. Maybe now just maybe the discord wont be full of so many questions about what blessing to put on their guns lol.
Thanks for the guide! I'm actually gravitating towards being an ogryn main now because of how much more effective I've been after incorporating everything I've learned from reading it.
me like. thank, hank.
Used the ogrynomicon right when patch 13 dropped, glad to hear it'll be getting updated through patches buffs and nerds!
This is sick!! Super helpful
thank you little man!
Thanks for tellin me this but as an ogryn I can't read
Yo! I think the Ogrynomicon is one of the best written guides I have read especially for Darktide. Next month, I'm planning on doing a series of video guides for the Ogryn, and I was wondering, would it be okay with you if I used the Ogrynomicon as a source? Mostly for the info on builds and weapons and where everything sits in the meta. I would ofc link it in the description of the videos and your YT channel as well (or however you prefer it to be sourced). I know yall had to put a lot of time into researching it and making it so I wanted to ask before I go using the info yall gathered. IMO the Ogrynomicon should be the bible for all Ogryn players :D
P.S. Asking here because I have no idea how to get ahold of you lol
Of course! Just drop a link to the Ogrynomicon in your video descriptions or a pinned comment.
Will do! Ty
More big bois = more better.
I love the guide and learned a lot from it. I do think the Dominate perk is described wrong though (or I am doing something wrong). It looks like it does not apply rending to all attacks as you describe, but instead it boosts all your bleed damage just like the rending boost perk. When I test this perk in the meatgrinder I do get the buff, but none of my attacks apply bleed when I have the buff. Can you confirm this or tell me what I am doing wrong? Love the channel sah, keep up the good work sah
I am not sure what do you mean. Rendng adds additional DMG to armoured targets, but it has a cap - if you're using a weapon that already has very high penetration the bonus from Rending will be minimal. It does, indeed, apply to all attacks - that is why ranged builds love to spec into it because your gunfire, which often is lackluster into armoured targets, gets much more sensible after offing an elite. It has nothing to do with triggering bleed - to bleed from Ogryn you need a BATTER talent and apply a heavy hit to the target. Rending interaction with bleed is based on the ADM (Armour Damage Modifier) mechanic, because Rending bonus damage works by modifying that value. For example, bleed on crushers has a 0.25 ADM, meaning that it does only a quarter of its damage. However adding 15% Rending, change that to 0.40 ADM. That is why Rending helps bleed so much (and why Thunderous is such a good blessing for bleeding).
@@FireAnt Thank you for your explanation. I unconsiously did an assumption that rending = bleeding, because in a lot of games they coincide. Therefore I thought it had to apply a bleed effect. Thx for clearing that up for me.
omgosh, creator of the epic ogronumicum plays youtube. Better subscribe to get all that sweet inside info 😍😘🤩😊
The biggest difficulty for me in reading it is that the pictures need to be converted to text for translation, which is a lot of work
Any chance for a guide like this for the other classes?
Not from us, no. We're Ogryn mains through and through.
Great guide, but disappointing that both versions of the guide are pure pictures and have no searchable text. Makes it inconvenient to use as reference.
Yes I've dropped that one because it's a hell to navigate. Looks sweet though.
Love me Emprah
Hate the traitors
Simple as
patch 15?
The ogrynomicon is already updated for Patch 15 :)
