  • Headstand practice flow to prepare for inversions is a 25 minute yoga class to learn yoga headstand and prepare for other yoga inversions such as forearm stand (pincha mayurasana) and yoga handstand. This yoga flow for head stand or sirsasana is not only a headstand tutorial on how to do headstand, but yoga for strength (arm strength and shoulder strength) and core workout to build your practice strongly and safely for the yoga inversion. It is a great headstand for beginners yoga video as it explains the foundation of yoga and the steps to headstand and a great yoga for strength workout for intermediate yoga to build stable inversions. Repeat this headstand yoga class for quick progress 🙌
    This video will definitely further help your progress in inversions and strength in general:

    That actually seems like a thorough preparation. I have to admit, I was more the jumpy type - until now. So there's still some work to do. Thank you, Jenny.

    Hi i tried this class and I find that I struggle (while in dolphin pose towards headstand) with shifting my weight onto my arms instead of my head. What am I doing wrong? :(

    • @yoflaminga
      @yoflaminga  3 года назад +1

      Hi dear, thank you for your comment and for your practice. I can suggest to repeat the video a few times and add the dolphin regularly to your practice. When we build strength it is easy to keep the weight on the arms. You want to make sure not to pressure your neck. Give it some time and enjoy the progress 😊🙏
