    I love this. This song seems to fit too well with Ironwood's story.
    The only reason why I can't say this was perfect is because I was a bit disappointed when I realized you didn't include anywhere the moment when Ironwood puts the black queen piece on his table. It represents the turning point to his downfall, and the culmination of his paranoia. You could also fit it with the rythm. I know you showed the black queen, but there was hardly any focus on it.
    Still, I love this video. You rebuilt extremely well the narrative.

    It reminds me of the books of lord of the ring.The Stewart of Gondor Denthor fought and resisted the tide of Mordor while his allies struggled and left him to hold off saurons armies, his had one of saurons scrying orbs and was able to use it, the problems was that when you used it, you had saurons attention, sauron literally tricked,cojaled, and betrayed all manners of creatures and was know for his ability to corrupt people to his will. But Denthor was made of pure Iron will, he stubbornly refuse all of saurons offers and wouldn't fall to saurons corruption, in the end saurons bagan to haunt Denthor with visions of damnation,false vision of the future, he began a misinformation campaign and tried to bled gondor dry to weaken it. Despite literally being drowned in depression Denthor still held on and endured. When the fellowship begins, Gondor is at it weakest but still endures and still has a lot of fight left in it,it is able to rally to Aragon due to Denthor being too stubborn to fall. The movies did him dirty.

    I'm currently in the middle of writing a story that takes place in a game like reality, and the MC due to her Skill has been reincarnated into a species of monstrous honeybees that turn prey into honey, and the Queen of the species, is basically the size of a Colossal Titan, maybe even bigger, while the Drones are a little smaller than humans and they have the ability to evolve into stronger species that are more humanoid in appearance with the queen of the base species already having a slight humanoid appearance. Since the bulk of my story so far takes place in the Underdark beneath a nation known as the Holy Vinaerian Empire, an Human Supremacist nation. I was imagining my MC, after evolving herself into a more humanoid species, and her mother evolving as well, showing up upon the surface amidst the war to lay seige to the empire, the MC making her grand entrance to the surface world, standing before her mother kinda like that scene in Digimon Cyber Sleuth when Omnimon stands behind his partner, Then the MC blasts This Song in her ears, while zipping about the battle field like a bolt of lightning, while her mother, the titanic bitch that she is, brings up the rear with a literal army of her daughters all at various stages of their main species evolution and further evolved species evolutions, taking to the battle field like a swarm of locusts while the Emperor cowers in fear in the capital city as they lay waste to his armies, because never in his wildest delusions would he have ever imagined having the denizens of the Underdark get involved in surface affairs, least of all, the MC's species that are notoriously territorial and damn near impossible to get rid of once A Queen emerges and settles down in a territory.

    • @wojciechwerner8787

      @@ImperialHell172 RWBY are not blameless but so is Ironwood.
      In terms of trust Ironwood is all take and not give. Do you remember council meeting he say that they have to trust him but refuse to say anything to them about Salem or amity.
      Yes they did not told him truth and hold secrets. (he did not do got impression on them) As well as saved his ass during council meeting and worn him about Salem agents already inside his kingdom he was unaware of. Yang and Blake talking Robin was against his orders but he(and you) chose to ignore a fact that it was beneficial outcome for him.
      Have you ever heard about "need-to-know-basis"? This is why he told inner circle about Salem and RWBY about amity. If they didn't knew they could not work on those operations.
      Now for some fridge from tvtropes.
      “The ease with which Ironwood shut off the Ruby gang's new Scrolls - that he himself provided - puts all of his previous speeches on trust in a different light. Whenever Ironwood spoke on how trustworthy Ruby and the others were, they were clearly uncomfortable, given the truths they were hiding concerning Salem. But the fact that Ironwood put a kill switch on their Scrolls at all proves that he never trusted them; his previous speeches and gifts were nothing more than ploys to guilt the heroes into serving him, much like how Adam used Ghira and Kali leaving the White Fang to guilt Blake into sticking with him during the "Adam" Character Short.”
      “Ironwood, on the other hand, has a history of tossing people under the bus when they disagree with him, regardless of how much help they've been beforehand; Ozpin made him a headmaster, giving him two seats on the council, but when Ozpin criticizes the large army Ironwood brought to Vale for the Vytal Festival, Ironwood near immediately pushed the council to remove Ozpin from his post soon as incidents started happening in Vale: he effectively blamed Ozpin for not preventing apparently random incidents from happening at all, even though local Huntsmen students (i.e. Team RWBY) react in time to prevent or mitigate the resulting damage, spinning all of it as negligence to the council so the defense of the city could fall to him. The SDC helped build Ironwood's army, with Jacques Schnee calling him an "old friend" in Volume 4, but Ironwood had no issue with crippling the company's profits with an embargo to sate his paranoia. And while he suffers blows to his reputation, Ironwood has so far faced no repercussions for this attitude or his own past failures - he's still a general with two seats on the council. While the Ruby Gang are growing out of their chaotic ways, Ironwood is too spoiled by his past enabling to consider any alternative he doesn't like. Soon as Team RWBY shows they won't do things his way, they're just another enemy to be taken down.”
      “Weiss going "None of this matters!" in regards to Ironwood's Control Freak tendencies going berserk is an excellent Call-Back to her own Character Development in Volume 1; There, she learned that she didn't have to be a leader to be a great Huntress ("The Badge And the Burden"). Then there's Ironwood, who can't function unless he's in a position of power. His pathological obsession to have his orders followed to the letter must be especially frustrating to her, as just hours ago Team RWBY had saved Ironwood from losing his place on the council; had they truly been against him, they could have just waited for him to be ousted. From her perspective, he's throwing a hissy fit because things didn't go his way.”

      Yeah, they really should have done their research before doing anything in the episode. Like the only one who was a military genius in that fight was Salem because the Grimm are just charge units. The only range fighters we've ever seen are flyers and your telling me the best tactic is to put your man on ground leaving with the Grimm. It would have been fine if it was only Robot units but putting soldiers down there, Ironwood you were written badly on that. But that wouldn't stop me going Commissar mod on you.

    • @l.warner3951
      @l.warner3951 3 года назад +3

      I can do one better, have your soldiers on that huge wall that behind them with some AA-guns for the flyers and AT-guns on the more armoured Grimm. That should help keep the Robots on the ground 'safe' to kill the smaller speeder Grimm. Also to help defend the wall you can have machine gun nest to kill anything that gets to close and rifle man to cover with the heavy weapon needs ammo.
      And it should be noted that Trench Warfare is a good Defensive Warfare under two things. One, to keep your soldiers from being killed by the enemy from a far, either that be from staying low in the trench to not be shot or explode, and shooting the enemy before they even make it to the trench. Two it help damage enemy moral when down right I mean the Germans hold off of the English and French for years on there own. But the problem is that the Grimm have nothing to cause you to need to take cover and aren't a feared of shit.
