- Parker Duofold Streamline Senior fountain pen in red hard rubber with G/F trim and black caps. The pen is made in Canada and fitted with a large Parker Duofold Pen Canada nib with a Xmas tree feed. I very nice example of this circa 1930s fountain pen.

Thank you for this video! Enjoyed it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for showing. This a beautiful, like new, and impressive looking fountain pen.
Yes these are great pens. Thanks for watching Darold,
Stunning restoration to a beautiful pen Stef, I love the understated design of these pens and the overstated colour!!
Yes they are great pens and nice writers, try and get one if you can. Thanks Mark.
Stunning looking pen . Thankyou Stef
Its a great example, thanks Luc.
What a amazing pen. One of my favorite Parker models.
Absolutely they are great pens to own and use. Cheers
A very nice restoration of a comfortable size pen, I think these "understated" pens look so much better than the modern "bling" things we are offered in this modern age, I suppose it reflects the taste,(or lack of), of modern users. Many thanks for showing us this gem Stef. Chris B.
Yes i very nice classic model for everyday use. Thanks Chris.
Beautiful pen. Thank you!
Thanks John for watching.
Good job please keep making
Thanks for watching. Stay safe.
Lovely video, beautiful pen, thanks
Im glad you like it, thanks for watching.
Well done Stef, an interesting video
Thanks Tony.
That's a beauty!
Yes it is , thanks for watching.
Very nice pen. Might be even earlier than 1930's. possibly 1920's. In 1933 Parker introduced the Vacumatic which became the preeminent Parker. However, the Duofold did not fade away. General MacArthur borrowed his wife's Duofold to sign acceptance of Japan's surrender in 1945 aboard USS Missouri.
Yes they are great pens, i have the "big red" in my collection. Yes the pen can be seen in the news reels. Thanks.
As usual amazing video. You are really an extremely talented person to do such wonderful restoration. Nowadays there aren't many people who can do a real good job on vintage pens.
I have about 4 Parker Duofold pens which are made in England. The red one is small, 2 black ones medium sized and another black one the size of the pen showed in the video. Very simple to look but very durable.
Neither my son nor my daughter is interested in fountain pens. God knows what will happen when I am gone. It may go to the trash bin. I shudder when I think of that.
Yes these Duofold pens are very durable and robust pens for everyday use. Enjoy your pens, and hopefully they do not eventually end up in the trash bin. Thanks.
You may find someone to gift them to that would enjoy them. Or let your son and daughter know there are other people that really appreciate them. If they are not interested, could they please donate them or offered them on eBay. As a disabled person living on a disability check, I cannot afford to buy items like this new. So, thrift stores and eBay allow me to enjoy things I wouldn't otherwise be able to obtain. They are like the rich uncle I never had.
@@markfrazier7442 Yes i have to agree with you Mark.
Great review! Although I am tempted to get one, the Parker 51 seems more special to me. Today's entry level gold nib pens like the Custom 74 seem like a better pen.
I prefer the vintage pens so can not comment on the modern pens. Thanks.
@@penkino1 I meant the vintage 51
Ah ! I see.
Woah 😍
Absolutely Harry.
Thank you, Stef. Very nice Canadian pen.
Yes a lovely example and a nice writer. Cheers Anzan.
Great video. I have a parker nib that needs retipping. Any idea on who could help?
It maybe cheaper to simply replace the nib. I believe there is a chap in USA who retipps nibs. Unfortunately i do not recall the name so you will need to search. Good luck.

Looks about a week old!
Yes it is a lovely example, thank for watching.
Dear Sir, you have shown dignity and graciousness in light of my seemingly harsh suggestions. I have just ..upon receipt of your message.. realised that I have erred in that most basic of civility i.e. conforming to the requisite etiquette of good manners by not saying thank you for your taking your time and effort to put the video out there for all to see and benefit from. I am deeply ashamed, embarrassed at my pettiness, mortified that I have behaved with such appalling ingratitude, I am humbled by your munificence. Please, would you be so kind as to pardon my unintended churlish manners? Would you kindly now accept my grateful thanks for all your time and effort to provide your excellent services to all of us viewers. Yours, respectfully. I the chastened.
No problem Rockey, its a free world (depending were you live) and you are entitled to your opinion. As long as the videos are helpful to others then im happy with that. Thank you for your comments.
@@penkino1 Wow ! What an apology. Good for Rockey Singh. Thank you for your fascinating videos, Stef.
@@mrbennetts Yes it was very nice of him.
Whilst I am sure the narrator meant well, he nevertheless was twirling and twisting the pen around in an irregular manner, and doing so too quickly for viewers to really get enough time to see the various parts of the pen, he said he meant to show. He should have done the exhibition more slowly and shown the various parts in a semblance of order perhaps starting from top to bottom and then showing the ink feeder and the mechanism for drawing ink into the pen, without necessarily actually filling the pen as he intends to return it. (Marks 4.5 - 5 out of 10).
Oh well ! “You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't …” … please all the people all of the time” Thanks.
What a ridiculous comment.
