Really needed just a bit more of the reactions after that scream from Shikamaru. But man this video really puts in perspective how well this fight/episode was done. From Kakuzu hitting Asuma in insanely cruel manners without seemingly holding back, the tactical fight of Kotetsu and Izumo vs Kakuzu (distracting Kakuzu, making him look up, glueing him to the ground, forcing him to extend his arms), and at the end back to back making it seem as if Asuma got hit --> showing Hidan hit himself --> slowly letting us realise that he was standing in the circle, showing how cruel Hidan is moving the scythe up and down, then the silence of ALL reactors, and not even a short one, after the final stab and finally Shikamaru's VA killing it with the scream at the end. The amount of love I have for this show is insane. Thanks for the vid man, so excited for the rest of this arc. Especially excited for ep 82.
As annoying as the girls on the bottom right are, they have a point, Asuma should've burned Hidan's body while Kakuzu was just standing there but that would break the laws of anime logic
Man the anime really butchered this fight. All those dialogue added said over and over. Not to mention how they make Asuma death so obvious in advance. A pity really.
