At the end , nagato too became a child of prophecy . With his choice of going against hatred with bringing everyone back . He finally acknowledged jiraya as his master ... . Naruto still hated him but didn't went for revenge after all 💯 What an incredible ending for an incredible arc 🔥

It is okay if you stopped watching Naruto after this. Just watching his happy face is a good end but what makes a great ending is in one of the last panels of the last chapter of the manga. A chapter titled Uzumaki Naruto (same as the first chapter). The last panel was Naruto's great stone face and a caption that read "Hokage"! :)

I still remember watching this for the first time. I grew up with him, related to him as he was mistreated. We both worked hard, to become strong people who others could respect. Naruto said "then every one will have to stop disrespecting me and look up to me like I'm somebody important." I cried tears of joy seeing him finally achieve that goal. Even now, I still tear up a little. The pain arc is legitimately one of the best arcs in the franchise, and I'm glad this show could make me feel so much.
Naruto came from being seen as subhuman trash, to and actual human being, to a respectable shinobi, to securing a place for himself in Shinobi history as the Hero of the Hidden Leaf, then going even further and becoming the Saviour of the 4th Great Shinobi War. What a journey.

That kind of almost slipped out of my attention when I was watching it myself but this time gotta appreciate thid detail. We actually were never shown before this very moment how citizens and other shinobis perception of Naruto was changing over time. Now we found out about it and it was so fucking awesome. From being the outcast he became the one everybody actually cared about. And his victory over Pain was the very peak of that. I think that is the main reason why perhaps many of viewers considered this arc the peak of Naruto, not just the action scenes, but this thing.
I usually like stories where the MC is strong from the start however Naruto will always hold a special place in my heart. He didn’t give up and chased his dreams. From an outcasted loser to a respected hero. His story is truly inspiring ❤
Watched Naruto for the first time 15 years ago, since that I've rewatched the series three times, and so many clips and highlights, will always be one of my favorite shows of all time and will watch it again in the future
What hits deep here is Naruto just wanted the village to accept him. And his initial dream to be Hokage was so people had to acknowledge him. This is where it turned the corner. Now the village not only acknowledged him, but he was the beloved hero of the village. From then on, his dream to be Hokage was no longer about being acknowledged, but to protect the village that loves him and find a way to fix hatred in the ninja world as a whole.
Man listen. Any fan of this show that's watched from the very 1st episode to this point. Felt every bit of admiration Naruto had been dreaming of from the start. How much a whole village hated a kid from birth to becoming the hero of the leaf with everything it took to get to that point (sheds tear) 🤷🏽♂️🤣🤣
Thats exactly why Naruto is the best long-term battle shounen and the best among Big 3. Cuz its the most challenging in terms of morals, ethic, ideologies and it has the best choreographed story telling. Look at this full circle of Shippuden (before War Arc) .

IMO this was the most important episode in the whole anime. I think there is put too little stock in other peoples (the village) opinions since it is that, which has been one of the main motivations throughout. Too often we get the MC doing crazy and incredible stuff in an anime without it being acknowledged... that was the same in Naruto until this episode.

No pain no gain
IMO this was the most important episode in the whole anime. I think there is put too little stock in other peoples (the village) opinions since it is that, which has been one of the main motivations throughout. Too often we get the MC doing crazy and incredible stuff in an anime without it being acknowledged... that was the same in Naruto until this episode.
This episode gets me EVERY time I watch it.

I was crying my ass off during this arc beautiful not sure if it’s my favorite or the 4th great ninja war but they’re both very close for me this whole arc was amazing
i love when people start talking shit and end they cared about naruto, it's make me cry and remember when i saw citiizen of konoha on naruto when they are see naruto as a monster , and naruto have prove it to all citizens
