I met Michael yesterday by chance on a random street corner. He was the nicest man, shook my hand, remembered my name, and told me to have a good day. It’s so encouraging to meet celebrities who are genuinely good people!
This was my wife's fight song, after 5 battles with cancer we lost our fight thank you Michael Franti for getting us through her fight she loved your songs we would listen to this every morning before her chemo treatments I will always cherish this song God bless my wife Denine and you Michael Franti

OMG! Saw him at Rifflandia, Victoria BC on Friday night!! He was AMAZING!!! Everyone was dancing and singing!! So much joy....and a huge bonus, I got to meet him and got a photo with him! Best birthday present ever:)

Michael Franti literally kept people from getting beaten if not killed. The utter rage you feel, watching a baby go through something like that, if ya haven't been there you can't comprehend. I only learned of this song about 2-3 years ago and it is the BEST (along with Say Hey I love you)! This one brought me through the aftermath of Hurricanes Irma and Maria that destroyed our beloved St. John, USVI. The first time I took the ferry over when we were allowed to return after the storms, I had this in my earbuds and I was in tears of joy.
