When I was younger I wished to grow up fast, I didn’t want to be young anymore. I wanted to make my own choices in life. Now I want to just be a child again, I would give anything just to go back in time. My bedroom, my living room with the box tv and 3 stations, having to rewatch our movies if we didn’t want to watch episodes of a streaming show over and over again. Flying kites, everything be so very colorful. If I could do life over again I would do it differently. Maybe my childhood could’ve been different.

My fourth grade teacher used to play his album every morning
when i was in 8th grade one day my science teacher used the entire class period listening to this one song. explaining how life is precious and not to take it for granted. turns out her father died around that time and this was his favorite song. Hope shes doing well 🖤

In the same place and I just realized that my childhood is over. Like I’m not in that stage of my life anymore. But you know what? Childhood isn’t the only good part of life. As long as we keep our imagination, curiosity, smile, and open-mindedness life will be pretty darn good :) Still crying tho 😬
