Christianity is not the only religion in the United States and every religion has the same rights as Christianity.
If you don't like Freedom of Religion than you should move away from the United States.

I went to a Baptist Church and the Sunday School Teacher ( Asst. Pastor) was saying that you "Can't Sin With Your Body, But You Can Only Sin With Your Mind", I Spoke Up And told Him that's not what the Bible Says, Because We Can Sin With Both (1 Corinthians 3:16-17) I referred him to the Scriptures, he became Angry Turned Red, Slammed The Bible Down, Ended Sunday School And Gave Me A Very Evil Menacing Look .... And I didn't know much about Religion's.... But He Was Pissed Yep Very Pissed,😈........ I don't know if all Baptist churches believe this or not I never went back there.

Growing up in a insulated Christian community I was not allowed to participate in school sponsored activities like Christmas parties, birthday parties, pledging allegiance to the flag ect...I wish people would keep thier spiritual teachings at home, not everyone believes the same thing.

Thank you for recognizing our rights, but I just want to clarify that TST members do not worship Satan. We don't even believe Satan exists (just as we don't believe the Abrahamic, Norse, or Egyptian gods exist). Satan is a metaphorical figure representing our rejection of tyranny.

This is after school programs. Not IN SCHOOL programs. The Satanic Temple just asks that if you are allowign Christian after school programs (like "Good News") to use school facilities, then they should be allowed to use them too. You are not required to send your child to either. Just wanting equal access of public facilities for all religions.

The nonsense that giving every religion a fair space is constitutional? That's literally what freedom of religion is and what the founding fathers wanted.
First of all it is not the job of the school to teach our children about God. It is the parents job. I taught my children about God from the age of 5 until they became adults and now are able to decide on their own what they wanted to believe and how they wanted to live. When they became adults if Satan is who they wanted to serve, they can, but not in my house. So to keep Satan out of schools ever religion should be put out. Lastly, when I was in school religion was never mentioned.
The pastor said it wasn’t the school’s job. The guy from the Satanic church said they don’t worship or serve Satan. The pastor also said that religion shouldn’t be in schools for that very reason.

TST is more than willing to leave any school district that no longer entertains spiritual terrorism. I envy these kids. I was raised Christian and didn't learn about Satan until I was a teenager. I wasted so much time worshiping the false god Jehovah when I should have been devoting myself to Lord Satan and his evil. @@jlw7771 because its not for a teacher or school to decide what religion a child associates with or practices, that is for their parents to deal with. I was raised a certain way but that doesn't mean I wanna hear gospel music and focus on the lord all day. Your in school to learn, not to worship and praise. That's why their are places to do those kinds of things specifically. Unless it is an actual religious school that the parents are aware that they are placing their child in like a Christian or catholic school there is no reason to push such things in a classroom.

If the good news club wasn't already there they wouldn't be pushing for an after school satan club. TST only puts their clubs where there's already religion in a school to provide an alternative. They are exercising the same religious rights as the Christians. The fact that when they apply they get denied, protested, or they just shut the whole thing down just goes to show that religious liberty and freedom in this country have been co-oped by Christian nationalist who have the expectation that they will be the only ones to exercise those rights and have no intention of allowing other religions to enjoy the same freedoms.

If one religion gets to have clubs then all other religions need to have access to the same rights and privileges.

Well these are after school programs you can enroll children in. THe problem is only Christian ones seem to be allowed to use school facilities... So... either deny all religions from using school facilities for after school programs, or allow all of them.

People will judge you based on the name you carry with you, no matter your belief. Atheist, Christian, Satanist, Agnostic, Buddhist, Muslim, etc. All names have labels that people will judge you by. People know you by the name you carry. Realistically speaking, your name doesn't have to define who you are, yes, but names actually do matter in life. I personally wouldn't even want to be labeled as a Christian if the religion carried only the name but not the practice of worshiping the Christ. Both the name and the practice matter. You can't have one without the other without confusion because works is a product of your faith.

Given that a religious group already has clubs, they must either ban both, allow both, or they will face legal consequences.
Christians shave some clubs where they don’t talk religion much. It’s the same as that. Whether they will be discussing religion is irrelevant because you can’t just ban a non religious club because you don’t like them either.
And yes, I’m referring to both the first amendment along with a myriad of cases that have given us precedent to have equal rights to public spaces as any other religious group. There’s probably hundreds of them. It always eventually ends up in our favor as hard as Christians push for a theocratic government where they are privileged over other religions. They can make bad, unconstitutional decisions like this but we will challenge them and win.
