    A great workout for my arms. cheers guys. I'm an ex bodybuilder and you pretty much corrected all my form faults in this that I used to do regularly lol. Cheers again.

    I love these superset workouts, but I would like to see Kelly do more of these. As a woman, it's nice to see what amounts of weight another woman would chose for these strength trainings. I know I shouldn't just do what you do, but it helps to have a gauge for motivation.

      +Emily Garnett I feel like that would be really hard to do with a normal household item. I think you pretty much have to have a bench.

      Use a chair, sit a fore most point of it, lean your back against the back. Et voila you have got yourself an incline.
      Not super awesome but it works.

    • @wickednwandering
      @wickednwandering 8 лет назад +3

      I tried that and it put a lot of stress on my neck. I just made sure my range of motion had my arms going about six inches behind my body with a slight lean backward (core tight) and it seemed to do ok. Would be helpful just to have an exercise that works similarly but isn't an incline curl?

    I love you guys. I am a chick & I used lighter weights 8, 6 & 3. I am losing weight & the under arm wings...UGH!!!! So this let's me concentrate on that specific area, triceps. Plus, I have rotator cuff issues & starting out lighter, helps with PT for the cuffs. To build up to heavier weights later.

    Used 2.5 kg and 5 kg (5,5lbs - 11lbs) dumbbells on this. I only started to train my arms for strength, hopefully I'll be able to lift a bit more in a few weeks. Nice workout, did the 'Upper Body Active Stretch Workout - Arms, Shoulder, Chest and Back Stretching Exercises' afterwards, now I feel tired as *. Feels good though, I guess I'll get used to this...

    you should do a full length video on how to stretch. coming from a mma backround into the body building world it amazes me how many guys will walk in the gym cold and grab 2 120s and start flat pressing. not promoting stretching is inviting everyone to snap city on tear airlines if you ask me..

    What you do is actually very dangerous, you're stretching a way too much your arm, and this can tear your muscle or tendon. Even if your weights/dumbell are very low/small/light it can be dangerous so if people try the same with middle or heavy weights it's going to be very dangerous (i mean they won't die but are going too have a huge pain and won't be able to move their arms for weeks or months). (sorry for mistakes i'me not english speaker.)

    I noticed that you don't really lift heavier weights but have defined arms...so does that mean it is better to lift weights that you can do complete range of motion? Most people in the gym just try to lift the heaviest weight they can find but unable to keep a good form.I really find your site helpful and keep up the good work.thanks!

    • @TheYYellowmamba
      @TheYYellowmamba 10 лет назад +1

      hes doing a demo, im sure he can do heavier weights, ofc form is essential

    • @ryanrabago6498
      @ryanrabago6498 10 лет назад

      TheYYellowmamba so ur saying you can't get that type of definition in ur arms with only that heavy of weights?

    • @TheGaara802
      @TheGaara802 10 лет назад +6

      Ryan Rabago I hope this helps you, I can lift 25-30 pound dumbbells, but without proper form, i would do this and gain little muscle, but when I switched to 15-20 pounds with great form as he shows in this vid, I'm building muscle like crazy. If you can only lift 10-15 Lb dumbbells so be it, it is actually better to lift with the heaviest weight you can lift with proper form, instead of the heaviest weight you can pick up with improper form. You will still build solid muscle, it won't be crazy, and it takes time, it's not quick results, but you will see a difference in 2 weeks and overtime you improve and move on to higher weights.By the way you sound, you don't want to be beefcake, you just want to get stronger, listen to my tips and yo will get those results and just don't do strength, mix cardio and HIIT. To sum it up RANGE OF MOTION IS WAY MORE IMPORTANT THAN AMOUT OF WEIGHT!

    • @thattgirrl
      @thattgirrl 10 лет назад

      If you want muscles to show you want a lighter weight and more reps (10-12) however you should be challenged so not too light. If you want to build strength you want heavier weight (keeping proper form in mind) but less reps!

    and what if you dont have a bench? This workout is designed mainly of people with benches. 2nd set and I am like "okkkkkkk...how do I get my own bicep elongated?"

    • @Nask0BS
      @Nask0BS 8 лет назад +6

      +K.O. Yoss You can do it standing, leaning with the upper back against the wall with the feet about a foot from the wall. Or use a stool, get it at a foot from the wall and lean against the wall with the upper back. Or do mine hardcore version - static squat with balancing on the upper back against the wall. I love it! Just be careful not to lean on your neck or back of your head! If all of this is bad and incorrect, Daniel, please tell us so.
