Average guy you nailed this review and finding out this New York City man is an ole Tn boy at heart is frosting on the cake! Ain't nothing like a full size pickup, my new f150!SXT 4wd crew cab has it all, power, economy and comfort! Getting up early on Sunday morning before the wife and grandkids roll out of bed and we all have to get ready for Church, heading out to Hardee's for some biscuit and gravys for them, putting in a dip of Timberwolf snuff, cranking up the Gathers on the radio, while feeling the cool summer morning air blow through my freshly washed and vacuumed race red truck, well I gotta say life don't get no better than that!, ain't a man anywhere on earth more satisfied and thankful to God for being born! Blessed Blessed Blessed! Proud to be An American and Love my pickup truck!

I hate to make another comment, but the reason I guess I love this review so much is you talking about your grandpa, described him as simple and elegant, what a beautiful description of the man, made my eyes water a little, I wonder did he ever get to NY City to see you,,,,,,I ain’t never been to NY City, really can’t even imagine that many folks in one place.

4:08 .... OMG! ME TOO!!!!!!.... I have a 2018 Larriat and I drive with my hand right there ALL the time. I love Honda vehicles too, my wife has a Honda and it has that one bar that prevents me from holding the wheel right there. I love my truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great vid!

Never thought about it till you mentioned it . I grew up with my dad owning a truck . And you was right to say in the 70s not that many around . A lot of great times riding in the back every where . Now they have laws against it 😕
Yup - riding in the back was so cool - but pretty dangerous too. 😂

I totally enjoyed your review of this truck . I have a 2012 model and the seat is a problem there too and ford knows I 'm 144,000 plus to get Ford to look or fix it . not a safety or recall item . the steering rack went out of mine with 76,000km and a repair bill of 2 grand ( not so Ford tough )

I'm into pickups but digging the F150 it looks awesome in style not sure about ride quality but do love the looks of this truck a pretty truck.

ride is choppy... i think they're getting pretty light... might be tires...
@@666dynomax I've noticed with the goodyear A/T kevlar tires, the ride is a bit more stiff than with other tires. My truck also has the 20" wheels, so double whammy. I think with 18" wheels and something like a Duratrac would change the ride dramatically. On the other hand, you would lose a tad bit of handling.

Simon Vance if u go Silverado dont get the 5.3 they'll eat fuel pumps and still have problems with there fuel management system take my word I have one and wished I would have went with the FORD

I've had one since March 2017. This is the model I got. But I got the bigger mirrors and larger screen and other little things. But the one thing that I REALLLY hate. Is how when u take off u can feel it jerk into gear for some reason. And if u gotta flip it in reverse in a middle of a intersection u gotta come to a full stop. Engage and then wait about 3 secs before u can take off again

You should do comparison reviews. I like the the more reclined seat in the crewman Tundra. The f150 isn't as comfortable in the rear for longer drive

Yes you nailed tthe main issue with the Ford Truck . The drivers seat is bad . The truck over all does the job mine is great pulling equipment trailers 22 and 24 feet good brakes . the second is no back up camera , would be nice , even cheap Dodge ( Ram ) puts 1 in . I liked your review

How about a longer bed to haul 4x8 sheets of plywood or dry wall ? like the older fords trucks had.

By the way, put the tail gate up, that's how we lost my Momaw! She was old and when her beer fell out of the poke and started to roll out the bed,,,,,,,,,,,well,,,,,guess it was just Momaw's time.
Lowered reliability most likely due to info-tainment system and that turbo engine.

+I use multiple cameras - GoPro for the exterior driving shots - Canon's XA30 for the bulk of the shots and Canon's VIXIA RF72 for tight spaces and my 📲 for quick shots. Richard Burton

Old? Your just a pup! I too like the XLT model. It's the "just right" one for me. Make it the supercab with the 6.5 bed and 4X4 V-8 and that new 10 speed? Oh yea! I thought the back up camera was supposed to be a requirement as per the federal Gov regs. But I maybe mistaken...

While they're nice to have, if you can't drive the truck without the camera (or any car for that matter) you probably shouldn't be driving at all...

Sessa ..in todays world with kids as young as 5 glued to a cell phone not to mention teens under 5' (tail gate height on mine), they are never paying attention & the trucks being paper thin metal also aluminum & polyurethane bumpers when backing up to a trailer can do major damage with just a slight mistake. Its not about driving it more about safety. Bonus too you can check on a trailer load on a without even pulling over that's pretty handy

Ram has the best ride, but you pay with lowest tow rating because of it

Oh yeah it's a great truck... if you don't mind that there are thousands of vehicles that have terrible electrical problems because of how everything is routed through the infotainment control center. Look around the web and read the complaints. Terrible. It's not just the Trucks, it's all Ford vehicles.
