Full Metal Panic! is a franchise very dear to me. It's part of my life. I've been hooked to it ever since 2004. When the Anime didn't continue after 2006 i started reading spoilers for the light novels. Then i read the Manga called "Sigma". Then i read the light novels itself. To this day i'm spending a good share of my time with this fandom. In 2011 I started a blog about it to support it and i'm still engaged with that.
In 2011 i also read the Manga adaptation to the 7th FMP light novel "On My Own". I was so fascinated by it that i started imagining what an AMV to it would look like. I found this song back then due to Umika - may she rest in peace. Over the years i started laying down a plan for how to adapt each FMP story arc into an AMV. Even though i had little hope that there would ever be another Anime adaptation, i kept dreaming and found some very solid concepts that stuck with me until this very day.
At times i was thinking about just animating the Manga myself as a Manga music video. But then in 2015 the fourth Anime season "Invisible Victory" got announced. And suddenly it's 2018 and here we are. Not everything in the Anime was as i had imagined it to be. And quite frankly, how could it have been? But there was enough good stuff to create an AMV at least 90% close to what i had in mind all these years ago.
This one is likely the first of three consecutive AMVs to the new FMP season. I’ve already started working on the second AMV and i hope to have all three out before the end of 2018. After that i'll be working on my AMV to Lupin the Third Part 5. Thank you for reading all of this. Feel loved.

oh my god, i'm so FUCKING happy you edited FMP! just like you, i was also waiting for them to pick this show up again and after so many years we finally got this new season, it wasn't exactly what i expected but it felt so goddamn good just to even see the characters on screen again. I'm so glad that another amv editor is into this show as much as me, I look forward to your other FMP amv's :) :) thank you!

Thank you for sticking around for all these years. I'm doing my best to finish these three close to eachother. Sorry if that means oversaturation some with this Anime for now. There's many more other Anime i wish to work with once these FMP AMVs are done.

Solid! Great job. Assuming FUMOFFU is the 3rd season by your count? I only have the first 2 in the collected DVD set. This is in my CR queue though - will start soon.
Full Metal Panic! is based on light novels. There is one book in between The Second Raid and Invisible Victory that has yet to be adapted. Assuming it would happen one day, that would probably be FMP 3. However, Invisible Victroy is the fourth Anime project. But that doesn't make Fumoffu the third season. Fumoffu is a Spin Off and happens in between everything. It's complicated ^^

At this rate another 10 years of waiting. Stay strong, healthy and perhaps you can rewatch the entire show with your children when the final season comes out.

GoldenThunder with some minor story points removed from the LNs/Manga, this season is 10/10 for me. Everything was exactly what I hoped the season was going to be like.

The graphic in this AMV wasn’t good for me. Perhaps the reasons were increasing the speed and 3D graphic which realization I don’t personally like in this movie.

Thank you for yet another quality comment. The animations in IV weren't 100% what i had hoped for, but they were probably 85% there. The CGI was alright for the most part. I didn't like some of the motions but i dig the look. I tried to work around those CGI parts that didn't work. So that when i watch this AMV i can say "hey it actually looked decent". I know i'm a hopeless fanboy ._.
Well, I rewatched the AMV now and reread the description (or read, if you posted it now), and I gotta say that it's still awesome AMV :) BTW, I finally watched it on PC, and your AMV seems much better and cooler if you watch it on PC )
And yea, I can pretty watch the AMV and say ''hey it actually looks decent'' xD

Nice thanks for reading all that stuff. Part 2 should be ready for release on Friday or by the end of the weekend. I'm currently working in the feedback of some friends and hope to have it ready for release ASAP. After that i will go right into production of part 3. I still don't have a good song for Lupin 5. I'm currently considering "The Chain" by "Fleetwood Mac" but it doesn't feel 100% right.
