Jaggery - 3/4 cup
Water - 1/4 cup
Urad dal flour - 1 tbsp
White sesame seeds - 1/2 tsp
Fresh grated coconut - 2 spoon
Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp
Ghee - 1 tsp
Oil for frying

Roasted Rice Flour - 1 cup

Thanks for the detailed recipe using store bought maavu mami. Generally the bakshanam does not come out crisp for me and because of neivedyam, I end up making them without tasting and feel disappointed. Vanakkam maami, Thank you for this wonderful recipe. Me, my sister , and my friend really enjoyed making the cheedais and relishing them. We followed the measurements and the process to the T, the cheedais came out very well. I am sure Krishna bhagwan too would have loved them.
