I'm a fan of Black Ship Grooming and he does deserve more attention with his cool labeling and quality soap with lovely scents, actually I wasn't aware what those icons on the label meant until you pointed that out today making his labels even cooler, I check the website and looks like he is sticking around as his site seems well stocked. Lovely rich lather Aaron, I believe the Muhle R89 & EJ DE89 (joint design concept) is the top razor sold in Europe. Take care my friend!🤠
Thanks so much for watching Lawrie and for your continued support and kind words. Always appreciate you, man! I'm very happy to see you're also a fan of black ship grooming. He definitely does great stuff with the brand and flies under the radar, I couldn't agree more. I was bored one day and looking at my soap labels, and I noticed the little pictures of the scent notes. It's a small detail but it blew my mind. How cool is that?! Good point, yeah actually it does look well stocked. That's good news :). Would love to see some new offerings from him soon. I can see why this is a top selling razor, it's very comfortable on the face. Enjoy your week!
Thanks so much for watching Robert and for being such a supportive member of the community! Really appreciate you man, and your kind words. Keep on shaving on brother! You have a great week as well!
Great shave and even greater info. Thanks for using that jagger, Aaron. It's been an awesome purchase so far. My issue is the lather and just , in general, being in too much of a hurry. Lol. Live and learn though. Great content as always, brother. I'll be looking into black ship. Stay humble my man.
Thanks so much brother for stopping by and your continued support! Means a lot man! Really glad to see you're enjoying the content. You're welcome. I kept going on saying it was mild, but it's only because I normally use super aggressive razors lol. This shave with the Jagger was really solid and comfortable. There's a reason it's a best seller. Frankly I spend way too much time building my lather. Definitely not necessary, but that's how I like it. As long as it's not too dry and well hydrated, and not too thin, you should be good. Thanks again and enjoy your week man.
Great shave Aaron. Just discovered my last post didn't post. I guarantee it was user error LOL. I think it was a ramble about my colonoscopy. Anyway Black Ship was off my radar until now. Nobody preps the lather like you. Always looks amazing. I'm liking the Fine soaps I just got. Back to Black Ship, it really does look like the owner is all about the details. Takes pride in his work. OK my man, have a great rest of the week and I'm going to cut the front lawn.
Hello my friend!! Always appreciate your support and kind words, man. It means a lot. Lol you always got me cracking up. Hope that wasn't too rough. Unfortunately yeah your last comment didn't post, I checked. It happens. Glad I could introduce you to the brand. It's great stuff that few people know about. Lots of heart and soul in his work. Thanks, frankly I spend too much time prepping the lather, but in my opinion this hobby is about comfort and enjoyment. I got a kill tub (PAA Cavendish) for when I'm in a hurry though. Fine is on my list, hope you enjoy it. I wanna get the "clubhouse" scent. Have a great day! What is your name by the way?
@@DoubleAshaves My name is Doug. Autumn is my wife. BTW the doc's office sent me a 10 page instruction manual for colonoscopy prep. Two pages dedicated to 4 or 5 different anesthesia options. Who knows how they decide which one to use. On another page regarding transportation there is a blurb about needing a driver because of anesthesia unless you opt out. They really don't want you to opt out otherwise they'd make it obvious in the forms. Well I called their bluff and "opted out". My wife had to work and I was quoted $175.00 for a driver. Expensive because they have to wait for you and can't leave. Anyway it wasn't bad. Doc was great. They pump your colon with lots of air and you have a crazy need to fart. I literally let one go for about 30 seconds straight. LOL Just air so no aroma therapy going on. OK my man.....Keep up the great videos and keep us up to date on the big wedding. PS....joined a gym yesterday (free with my health insurance) and guy repairing the keyless entry thing also updated security at consulate in Rio de Janeiro where I worked for 5 years. Small world.
@@autumn1231 Lol you crack me up man 😂. Thanks for sharing your experience Doug! That was beautifully descriptive in the best way man lmao. Glad to hear it went well though. I've heard all kinds of crazy colonoscopy stories. I'm not exactly looking forward to having to go through all that. BUT they save lives and keep us healthy, so I suppose it's not all bad man. I definitely plan to keep up the content, and I really appreciate all your support and encouragement. That's why I do them. And will be sure to keep you up to date with the wedding. It's coming up in October :). Have a great time at the gym, as well as a great weekend ahead Doug.
Hey. Nice confortable shave. Never tried a beer type scent. There aren't very many out there. I agree most of the soaps vegan / tallow you can buy today are plenty slick. Have a good one. Almost hump day 🙂
Thanks so much for watching my friend! Always appreciate your time and continued support man. Yeah, the DE89/86 head is always a good choice for a comfy shave. I wouldn't really wanna smell like an alcoholic walking around lol, but just smelling a tub of a beer scent sounds intriguing. Right, pretty much all bases do a good job. Only soap I ever couldn't get to work is williams. That stuff is horrible. You have a great week as well!
Thanks so much for watching, Lee and for your continued support man. Much appreciated. Really uplifting scent indeed. Nice! I'll have to check out that one. Thanks for putting that razor on my radar. I love how many different razors are in the market now. Makes the hobby quite fun. Enjoy your week my friend!
Thanks so much for watching jmarcguy! Appreciate it! Yeah, this is a good one here. I like using his products because I always felt he really flew under the radar. His stuff is really good. So glad to hear you're enjoying the videos! Hope you have a great week!
Ladies have tendency to like pear & grapefruit scent. So, that soap makes me curious. And you gave me information of the Blackship Grooming soap lid label, its under graphic scent note information. I have regular size Shipwreck Cove, and sample of Siren's Song & Captain Joe. Nice shave Aaron, & have a grat day!
Hi Hoon! Thanks so much for watching and your kind words! Yeah, I've gotten a few compliments on this aftershave. It's great because it's not too feminine of a scent, but it's also a scent that women enjoy a lot. It smells like a real pear to me, nothing synthetic. It smells great. Happy to see you also enjoy black ship soap. Shipwreck cove is one of the best scents in my den. Smells like Davidoff Cool Water Cologne to me, which is wonderful. Thanks again for watching, and hope you enjoy your day as well!
