I love Fripp's persona - the always civil combativeness, the contrariness, the deadly seriousness of his obscure pronouncements, the steely glint in his eye. He is a true one-off

Uh… Bruford was actually IN King Crimson when Fripp disbanded the band the first time in ‘75.
He was in Yes before he joined Crimson the first time in the 1970’s.

Actually, she was a pretty good interviewer. Seemed to me like she did her homework. She seemed generally interested in the things he had said in the past, and where he was going with the new band. There’s certain things that she has to ask, being a journalist. Certain things that she probably would like to know, but the regular every day person watching the interview on TV Has no idea about.
And there seemed to be quite a energy between them! That was fun to watch.

I can feel some sexual tension here. It's Fripp's weird way -- with some contrariness -- of flirting with someone, methinks. She seems to respond to it.
