You can replace the QFN with something like the HDMI2C1-6C1, and a QFN to DIP adaptor board, is a little bit fiddly, and you have to make sure you wire it up correctly (as the pinouts differ, but the chip has the same function) -- have seen success from a few places oinline (not myself)

Hello, I have an Xbox one X with a major issue I think.
I press the on the button and it chimes on and shows the light, then it shuts off after 2 seconds. If I press the button shortly again, it also chimes off.
I searched a little and found out that the TDP158 redriver can possibly make that issue, so I swapped that one for new. I also checked the HDD on my PC with several programs and in several tests for any failure but turns out it is in perfect condition.
I checked the board for any damage, but there is no mechanical issue, no water damage, nothing, not even dust. It nearly looks new, since even the cooler and fan hasn't signs of dust, however, the thermal paste was hard, and the pads have some tiny cracks but are still soft when poked.
I noticed that the cooler had a bent in the base which covers the ram, but it should have had contact since the pads left marks on the ram chips.
However, I currently don't know where to search further, Micro Mage Repair told me to look for your videos since he said that the power rails could be an issue.
Since I usually don't need to dig down that deep, it would be helpful to know where to check what on those power rails.

@@ogm19881 yes, basically a higher voltage than normal or other electrical anomaly, like an esd event, went through the HDMI port and blew the esd protection ic bc it overloaded it, now the hard part is tracing where the root cause of it not displaying in 4k is coming from. It's almost got to be another short somewhere within that pipeline or a degraded data line ic not being able to funnel the 4k display data, but I could be wrong.

After turning the one x off and waiting a few hours everything seemed to be ok until the error randomly returned. First i thought the hdd was broken and i installed an ssd.
