Just finished watching the show. I'd recommend this to every single band kid such as myself, or even someone, who seems lost in what they want to do in life. Such a great show and amazing characters! It could have easily happened for real. :)
This anime had a big impact on me, too. However, I didn't have any problems with Kumiko or Reina, but this anime still changed me. Asuka Tanaka, the character who let me see myself from the outside. After that, I changed, my view of the world changed, everything changed. At first I liked Asuka, but in the 2nd half of the 1st season it seemed a little strange to me. But already in season 2 I began to realize that I am not very different from her. Now Asuka Tanaka is a beautiful, well-written character, whom I love very much. I'm sorry for the mistakes, I don't know English well.
I just watched the show 2 day before and came across your channel. I agree every word you said. This is the most beautiful and the best amine I've seen in my life! The emotion were so strong that I could really feel what Komiko's feeling. The upset, don't want to be normal, want to do better and the need to become someone special. It is truly amazing! Thanks for making a review of this show. It should get more and more attention! Sound Euphonium will release Season 3 in 2024 and a special in this year! please make sure you won't miss it!!!
In this anime Character interactions were so enjoyable thanks to incredible animation and voice acting It’s one of those anime series that i will never forget
Your videos are strongly underrated ! I can definitely rely on what you said. I had rought time too in 2020 and some anime like Clannad, A silent voice, or 7 Seeds helped to save my life. I understood something... My emotions were so strong ! i honestly never experienced that before, it broked me, exploded the person i thought i was. I understood the cathartic power of stories and art ! I want to do the same thing for people ! I want to show them a way to happiness, a way to know themself, i want to inspire them and maybe save one or two lives if possible. So i decided to change job and tell my own story by drawing a short anime frame by frame. I just finished it yesterday !
my favorite non battle anime, it speaks to me so much because I was in concert band in high school too. I really connect to it so I love when people praise it! Excellent video
Some time ago I was scrolling through your videos and saw this one. Title you set was enough for me to reach for this anime after Clannad series. Now, after journey with Kumiko and the rest, I can say, without hestiation, that this series genuinely got power to save life. It woke me up to start to learn playing on saxophone. To change my routine of everyday. To try something new. But it's not like that I want to become the best I can in saxophone (like Kumiko wanted to become the best in eupho), but I realized I want to become the best I can in trying. To try my best with saxophone. To try my best at work. To try my best at relationships. To try my best to be a better person, in every possible way. So, thank you Kaze for your work and effort. For this guidepost. Some people may say that title of your video can be cliché or exaggerated, but it doesn't matter until you try to understand meaning behind this, so I think I did. I tried and I'll keep trying - to try. Thanks again.
Thank you for this comment. It really means a lot that you were able to understand the meaning behind what I wanted to say. I’m also glad I was able to influence you in watching this show 🙂
Absolutely FANTASTIC video Kaze. I may or not be tearing up listening to the ways it inspired you and helped you keep going. You've reminded me why I love this show so much, and how much I want to improve too. Umaku narutai!!!!! 😭✊
Why I watched this at work on Kaije stream, I would not know. But im sure my colleague think i have lost it now with how much tears was streaming out my nose while i was trying to hold it in. I was in the process of watching this when the KyoAni Arson attack happened. I was watching S2E3 (the Asuka morning practise Episode) the day it happened and had to stop the episode half way in because I could not read the subtitles anymore. Hibike has always been what I want in life, but could never get off my ass and put enough effort to achieve something. I love it, but it also always makes me so angry with myself I could die. Even though I really love Kumiko and Reina, I feel like I am Mamiko sometimes, and that I want to be more like Midori. She is such a good supportive character, but works extremely hard in the background along with Hazuki. Thanks for the Video. You are appreciated
I discovered how seriously good anime can be during the UK's many unlawful lockdowns and can easily say they helped me get though. Sound Euphonium being one of them. Thank you.
Thanks Shibaybay! The title is about how it impacted me positively in a moment of great depression in my life. This was a year ago so I’m way better now.

This has been my favorite anime since I first watched it several years ago, but I never really asked myself why. Thank you for this amazing analysis

Kyoto Animation is just top tier in everything. Can’t thank them enough for their impact on me.

It reminds me I should rewatch Hibike! Euphonium, great video as always
Thank you so much! 🙏
First look at the title. Hopefully it’s exaggerated. Stay safe!
